I grew up with dogs, cats, bunnies, and other animals in-between! In the last 17 years, I've been a cat mom, and recently had a dog with my ex-partner (who I still care for when they're out of town). The only constant in my life has been animals, and I get such a joy out of playing with them, taking them on walks, cuddles, and seeing their personalities come out. I used to work at a pet store (back in the day), and in the last 5 years, actually helped stray dogs + cats in my neighborhood find incredible families. I know basic dog training (like sit, stay, break, etc), and I'm quick to learn whatever else you do with your dog or cat to make their time as normal as possible as you're away.

I like to make the pet's stay (either at my home or your home) as normal as possible for them. I understand how nerve-wracking it can be for pet parents who are away and the pets when there's disruption, so I try to do everything as it normally is - feeding, walking, training, giving treats, etc.
Ratings and reviews
Kelsey watched our cat for a week while we were out of town. She was always on time, took great photos and took excellent care of “our boy.” An issue came up with our garage door opening on its own, and Kelsey quickly got in touch with us and manually closed the door. And she made sure our house was secure. She made us feel completely secure knowing our house and our cat were being taken care of. We would definitely use Kelsey’s services again.
Kelsey took care of our cat like she was her own! It made us feel comfortable that she has cats too so all the weird cat things didn’t seem weird to her, like making sure the door closes right away so she doesn’t escape. Kelsey always made sure she was fed, had her medicine, water was filled, and litter box was cleaned. She was even so kind to clean up some accidents as our cat was going through a “moody stage” communicating by going to the bathroom outside the box. She made it seem like nothing and her care made us feel like we could actually relax on our trip because we knew our cat was in good hands!
Kelsey is always my first choice pet sitter. Her obvious love of animals allows her to connect intuitively with pets, even with my skittish, scaredy cat. I know she’s in good hands with Kelsey and will not only get her food and medicine, but the extra attention she needs when we’re away. I trust Kelsey implicitly, and so does my picky cat.
I highly recommend Kelsey to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter on Rover. They are responsible, attentive, and genuinely love animals (and boy do they love her too). I’ve seen firsthand how seriously they take pet care—from following routines and instructions to making sure pets feel comfortable and well cared for. Any pet would be in great hands with them.
I cannot recommend Kelsey enough for pet sitting! She is incredibly organized and has handled our household routine with ease. She looked after a senior cat, managing her medication schedule perfectly, and made sure Apple was well-exercised with multiple walks throughout the day. It’s rare to find someone who balances technical care with genuine affection so well. Kelsey provides a safe, loving care with excellent customer service.

Schedule
I work from home during the week and can take care of walking, feeding, socialization, and boarding (in my home) as I'm available. I'm also a performing musician so I travel around the Austin area frequently.
