Life-long lover of animals
My first pets were 2 rats. I took care of them exclusively, bathed them, fed and cleaned up after them. The family cat Simba was mainly my responsibility with occasional help from family, and I would take care of our family dog Bentley when I was home for summers from college. I've helped care for several other animals when babysitting children, and occasionally dog sat overnight for other families over a 3 day weekend period. I've also loved my time volunteering at the local dog shelter where I walk, clean up after, and play with all the dogs up for adoption until they find their forever families. Also enjoyed a 6 week program at a dog shelter in Athens, Greece in 2024!

Alyssa was great! She was super flexible with our schedule, she showed up in a timely manner, and she really cared for Lucy. She played with her, gave her treats, let her outside and have her lots of company! She was great and we are definitely rebooking!

Alyssa is excellent with Dogs. She has watched and trained our dog for a few years now. She is reliable and very sweet with our Posey who is 10 yrs old. She trained her to do 3 different tricks in just a couple months. Alyssa has a calm demeanor and you can tell she really loves animals. I absolutely trust her to take excellent care of our dog and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her.
