About: I have cared for and owned dogs since I was 10 years old. As of this past year I also cared for my senior dog giving daily medication (oral and topical). I am a mostly stay at home mom. About: I have taken care of animals almost my whole life. I love all animals and I am very caring and gentle when caring for animals. I have a lot of experience with dog sitting and dog walking as well. I have taken care of my neighbors dogs when they go somewhere and I have bathed them and fed them and everything. I also have walked many dogs and enjoy it very much. I am very available during the week. I am able to walk dogs during the day and at night. I am available Monday through Friday. I might be available on some days of the weekend but would need to know in advance. I treat every animal I am around or care for as if they are my own. About: I live in Edison Park, but work in McCook/Chicago during the day/week or sometimes from home. I manage my time really well, so I can make anything early in the morning,/on my lunch break work- plus weekends or after work. I have always had dogs my entire life. I grew up with a chocolate lab mix, then when she passed away my family got a three legged black lab and a chesapeake bay retriever. Then, when I was in college, a chocolate lab climbed into my car and after months of trying to find his owners, I decided to keep him. Those puppies have since passed, but our family has 2 giant black labs currently. I’ve also had 4 Guinea Pigs who I loved dearly. I currently work from home part of the time and love four legged angels (sometimes 3, I had a 3 legged dog growing up). I am available in the early mornings, evenings and on the weekends consistently, but can work out weekday daytime availability with advanced notice. I make sure the animals all have the appropriate food/water setups at all times (per owners instructions depending on pet’s specific needs), as well as making sure the temperature is comfortable for the pet. I prioritize exercise and bathroom breaks for each pet. There is never a lack of social interaction when I am around. Pretty much, I view pets as family and think they deserve the best. If they have specific requirements, I will always follow whatever rules the owner requests and talk through any concerns before booking.
About: I grew with a 60lb English Bulldog who had a rambunctious spirit. With him I learned the special needs from particular breeds. Later I had a 5 lb Yorkie. She was a sweetheart that wanted nothing more than to be by your side. They were the best around. I am happy to walk your dog(s), run them in the yard, or spend time with them indoors to break up the time they spend alone. I’m also happy to stop by to feed your cats and give them some one on on time. I like to work within my community. It builds trust between both parties. I’m a college student continuing in the fall. My hours are flexible until then. While I don’t house your pets, I am able to tend to them in your home. I can check a litter box, handle feedings, play with them, and run them in your fenced yard. I’m happy to walk them through their neighborhood or to take them for long walks to a local park. We can tailor the visit to their specific needs.

“Gabriela and Richard were so kind and sweet with my toy poodle! They even took her on little adventures to get doggie ice cream and nice walks around the neighborhood, aside from plenty of outside time in their own fenced-in backyard! Gabriela was super great about texting updates and super cute pics of my girl! And they even got her to eat a good bit while I was away even though she usually tries to go on a hunger strike in my absence. Gabriela met us for like 15 mins at the local park before boarding and got to know my dog and garner some info from me, which I really appreciated and not a lot of boarders do that! My girl was very happy when I picked her up and I would absolutely rebook Gabriela and Richard! Highly recommend!”
“Thao was absolutely amazing! She took such wonderful care of our two dogs, Freyja and Odin. From the very beginning, Thao was incredibly responsive and quick to reply to all of our questions before we even booked. Throughout their stay, she kept us constantly updated with lots of fantastic pictures, which gave us great peace of mind knowing they were happy and in good hands. We are especially grateful for how super flexible and accommodating Thao was with a couple of our last-minute changes of plans. It really helped reduce our travel stress! We couldn't have asked for a better sitter. Thao will definitely be our go-to sitter for all our future trips. We highly recommend her!”

“Olive had a terrific stay with Brian + Challah. Brian is responsible and attentive and made me feel very comfortable leaving Olive for 10 days. We did a meet + greet first to make sure our dogs got along and he asked me a ton of questions about Olive’s temperament, schedule, etc. He even went above and beyond and created a schedule for Olive so I’m pretty sure she had a better time there than she does at home. Brian sent cute pics every day and I could tell Olive made herself right at home on the couch and rolling in the grass. I would recommend Brian to anyone I know, or anyone on Rover scrolling through these reviews.”

“Hannah's care to my dog was wonderful, the photo she sent to me daily really assured me that Ling-Ling was at a sweet home away from home, that gave me a great relieve to be able to enjoy my vacation as I knew Ling-Ling was enjoying her great vacation with Hannah and her 7 years old daughter. I will book with Hannah whenever I need to if no conflict with her schedule. It's a great feeling that I will not feel anxious to plan vacation at the future anymore because I found Hannah.”
