About: Dogs, cats, you name it - I love ‘em. As an animal lover and owner myself, I also have years of experience working in animal rescues caring for stray cats and dogs. This has been helpful with learning to be patient and able to adapt to each animals specific needs. However they need me to show up for them, I’m there. They need extensive cuddles? Count me in. They need me to just hangout and watch from a distance? Bummer, but I’ll respect their space. Whatever you need, I got you! 🩷 At the moment, I do work 8am-4pm. I work less than 10 minutes from home so often stop home for lunch. Other than work, I’m often home nightly and spend my nights/weekends relaxing with a book or working on whatever my newest crafting obsession is. I have two cats, Zoe and Ziti. They can be separated in the basement if need be. I offer a large crate if you prefer your dog to be crate trained. We have a large, fully fenced in yard that’s just begging to be a dogs playground!

They even took her on little adventures to get doggie ice cream and nice walks around the neighborhood, aside from plenty of outside time in their own fenced-in backyard! Gabriela was super great about texting updates and super cute pics of my girl! And they even got her to eat a good bit while I was away even though she usually tries to go on a hunger strike in my absence. Gabriela met us for like 15 mins at the local park before boarding and got to know my dog and garner some info from me, which I really appreciated and not a lot of boarders do that! He was comfortable and happy, which I knew because he doesn’t usually go up to sitters to say bye when I pick him up. But he did this with her. He made new doggy friends on his walks (which he’s also not always up to) and he and Sir, a sweet little guy, got along wonderfully. About: I work from home and my job requires very little actual attention (fortunately). I have a lot of time to dedicate to a pet and the space for it too! I work from home full time, but my job requires very little actual attention so most of my time clocked in allows me to do other things. I am always home unless I have errands, the gym, or appointments to get to. Other than that, I frequently visit my local parks for walks during my break and after or before work! Blue had the BEST time with Mary! This was Blue’s first time away from us over night with someone who is not our family. With that being said, Blue stayed with Mary for multiple nights, and was her happy playful self! She normally likes to food strike when she is away from us, but she ate all of her meals like a champ while with Mary. She also cuddled with her and got so many great walks!

Robert and his family took excellent care of Spruce while we were away on an extended trip for nearly two weeks. Our pup is a one year old with a lot of energy for playing and had such a blast playing endless fetch in their fenced yard and with the dogs who would come by for in-home daycare. We got absolutely regular updates (with absolutely incredible action shots!) while we were traveling and it was clear to see Spruce was having a wonderful time and was being well cared for, and that knowledge and peace of mind is such a gift especially when we were thousands of miles away.
