“Erica was so good to our dog over the holidays. She was a great communicator, sent pictures and accommodated our complicated schedule. I highly recommend Erica!”

“Lara was great for our dog. She sent routine updates and made him feel at home. She’s available and spent quality time with our guy while we were gone. Would recommend and book again”

About: Hi, I’m Haley, my dog skipper and I work from home. I have the space and would love to host dogs in our home. Skipper is a huge fan of sleepovers and I love all dogs! I work from home so aside from meetings (occasionally offsite) I’m typically home and have a big yard for dogs to enjoy! I also love to take walks and trip to the park if the dog enjoys it! Any dog in my house becomes a member of the family, they’re allowed to sleep in bed with me or lounge on the furniture. I have a huge fenced in yard for them to roam in and provide frequent walks for exercise.
“Maria was amazing with my dog!! I was so nervous leaving my dog with someone other than family. Lucy is a rescue so she has been through it. Maria and her daughter took such good care of my pup and sent pictures daily.”

“Nathan took care of Speedy for a second time. We appreciated how Nathan patiently took good care of our baby since Speedy is a senior dog. We highly recommend Nathan.”

“Rico did a great job taking care of our senior rescue dog, Fritz! He sent lots of pictures, was quick to respond when I asked a question, and was very tolerant of Fritz’s quirks . We could tell Fritz was treated like part of the family!”

“Julia is an amazing sitter with a lot of experience. She took great care of Rupert and updated us regularly. She also paid attention to a mild injury he had above his eye. Would definitely recommend!”

“Jackie and her family were amazing with our dog. They took amazing care of him, and even took him out to play a few times. Jackie kept me updated with pictures and videos though-out the weekend. Our dog enjoyed his visit and I will be booking Jackie next time we’re in need of a sitter!!”

“So, I know she was awesome because I was waiting for my puppies/babies to be super excited and uncontrollable when they saw me and NOPE they were cool calm and collected because they really liked Jan. They felt at home with her and not sure what she did, but they are definitely more chill. I will only use Jan going forward if she'll have us because she's also reasonable price wise.”

“Alyssa and Skyler were wonderful with Cubbie! He even ate while he stayed overnight, which is huge news and demonstrates how comfortable he was. They also gave us the cutest little report card to recap his adventure.”

“Per usual, Cocoa was in the best hands with Christina. She loves going over, so much so she dragged me there this time. I love all the updates and never have any second thoughts dropping her off with Christina!”

“Angelica was fantastic. Pluto came back in a very good mood and was relaxed at home, which says to me that he had a good time and felt safe with her and her dogs. I booked with Angelica last minute due to a cancellation and I am so glad I did! Thanks again.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - River Forest
This was my first time using Rover, and Samantha was utterly amazing caring for my dog, Guru, who was recently adopted from a shelter. Guru is very social, and her dogs got along wonderfully with him. Since Guru and I are still getting to know one another, it was so comforting to receive regular text, photo, and video updates on how he was doing. Samantha was extremely gracious, attentive, and understanding throughout the entire stay. I highly recommend her services!

Five stars plus. This was Chauncey‘s first time doing a Rover visit and it couldn’t have gone any better thanks to Katherine and Cory. Chauncey is high energy to say the least and a patiently got him through a weekend without us. He got plenty of exercise and love and we are very grateful for hosting him for the weekend. Thanks again.

Jasmine was the best! Our babes loved her. She was so great with easing my own separation anxiety from the dogs and sent so many updates. She kept them active with tons of walkies and even got them to eat, which is a miracle since they usually skip a few meals at first. 15/10 would recommend and will 100% be dropping our babes off to her every time we’re in Chicago! We love Jasmine!

I’ve used Rob several times over the past couple of years to watch my two pups, and I couldn’t be happier with his care. He’s always great at communicating and keeps me updated, and my dogs always come home happy and well cared for. It’s such a relief knowing they’re in great hands while I’m away. Thanks so much, Rob!
Eniya and her family are the best. They cared for Rah twice, and each time has been a wonderful experience. When walking up to Eniya's house this past and second time, Rah ran up and was happy to be back. That did everything for me. Once more, during her stay, even while the family was handling unforeseen situations, Eniya still tended to Rah with high regard. Full hearted endorsement of Eniya!

Carolina is great with Zeke! She was able to take him for the week and provided wonderful updates. She gave him tons of playtime, walks, and he even ate normally (he usually does a hunger strike when he boards). So Zeke is very comfortable with her in her home & she has another Min Pin Zeke gets along with! Thanks to her for all her help and care for our furry child!

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
