A vacation for your fur baby
I have raised and cared for dogs and cats my entire life, all sizes and ages, several with serious medical needs. As a child, my family bred and raised Irish Setters and kept any pup that was not 100% healthy for adoption. Therefore I have experience with all aspects of pet care and I have raised my kids to do the same. We are Tara (49yr), Jaden (15yr) and Alia (12yr) and have been dog sitting for friends and family for years and really enjoy hosting pups to play with and pamper on the weekends since unfortunately we are not home enough during the week to provide adequate care and attention to a full time pup. Our three kitties are very accustomed to dogs but we have plenty of room to separate them if they overstimulate your doggy. Our three level home, plus large back yard, will give your pup plenty of room to play inside and out! We typically run and play in the backyard during potty breaks and go out for several walks a day. The yard is only 90% fenced so I have several 50ft leashes around the yard to provide the illusion of freedom while maintaining safety. If your pup is high energy, they can also play with the neighbor’s dogs or we can take a trip to the dog park so they can socialize and run with other pups. I assure you they will get lots of cuddles and attention and I will send photos and vids of your pup to you throughout their stay!

Tara took very good care of our cherished kitty in the comfort of familiar surroundings with her home visits while we were away for the weekend. She was able to create a trusting connection and undoubtedly reduced any stress associated with the unaccustomed feeling of being alone for such extended periods of time. We appreciated and enjoyed the photos of our girl enjoying herself and looking relaxed. It allowed us to feel the same!

Tara was an amazing host! I felt so comfortable leaving my dog Mocha with her for the weekend knowing she'd be treated well. I was frequently updated with pictures of her and status reports. I'd highly recommend her services to anyone!
Tara watched our dogs during our wedding weekend, and we couldn't be more thankful! One of our dogs needed emergency surgery a few days before the wedding, and Tara was able to help her through the post surgery period with close supervision and medications. We were so grateful to be able to continue with our wedding plans because we felt comfortable leaving the pups with Tara.
This was our first time leaving our dogs for an extended period of time, and we chose such a great first time pet sitter! Tara went above and beyond to care for our dogs, and she made sure they were comfortable and happy in our absence. We will definitely be booking Tara again and recommend her for any pet sitting needs :)

Schedule
I am available for boarding in my home on the weekends, beginning Friday evening through Monday morning. I can also board at your home from Saturday morning through Sunday evening.

Safety, trust & environment
I will treat your pet like a member of the family! If they get muddy in the backyard I have no problem giving them a bath and brushing them. They are welcome on the furniture and will not be left alone while they are in my care.

We are a high energy family and can easily tire out the most hyper puppy but can also accommodate a low energy or senior dog who wants their space and quiet.
