About: I have about eight years of experience caring for friends' and clients' pets when they are moving or on vacation. I have a very open schedule and my lines for communication are very open. I live in a condo in Oak Lawn and own my own car meaning I have reliable transportation to any of the surrounding areas, if required for your needs. Pets seem to make themselves right at home even if they haven't been there before. I love long walks and don't mind laying around the house or jumping up and going out every hour depending on the pet's needs or desires. I am friendly and pets seem to warm up to me quickly. I have a knack for anticipating a pet's needs and go to whatever lengths I need to keep them safe and happy. I'm lucky enough to be able to mold my schedule around your pet's schedule. So whatever walking and feeding routine you have them on I can easily adjust to fit their needs. I follow every detail the pet parent leaves me to the letter. Even if your pet needs me to spin around 3 times and pretend to microwave his/her food or ACTUALLY has food that needs to be microwaved! I make sure to review instructions with the client the day of so we both feel comfortable that we are on the same page and their fur baby is getting the best care.

About: I have had and been around dogs since I was a child. Dogs seem to come to me naturally; without fear or hesitation. I honestly believe this is because I approach them with ease and am not forceful. It seemed like a natural step for me to join the Rover community. Ive also been a dog owner and currently have Jazzy who is my beloved Boston Terrier Mix with a big personality and sweet nature. Jazzy and I chose each other and its been an adventure ever since day one! she loves everyone but at times can be a little bossy. I'm well aware of who runs the household! I pride myself on ensuring that Jazzy stays healthy by giving her quality food and treats, Along with that she enjoys her fenced in yard and takes daily walks. We have lots of playtime and cuddles. I'll treat your dog as I would my own. That is my motto as I don't want you to worry or be concerned when you are away from your precious fur baby. I can't replace you, or would never try but rest assured your pet will receive all my tender loving care. I have had the opportunity to care for some dogs on Rover who have become regular clients. The owners have told me that they reach out to me first and hope that I am available. That is a huge compliment and I'm honored that I made such an impact on their four legged friend. All the pets I have met have their own unique personality and what I do as a sitter is simply take them for who they are which includes any little quirks. Canine or human, we all possess them. About: i’ve taken care of animals my whole life. i’ve owned/helped care for dogs, cats, ferrets, fish, and a bunny. i’ve raised a puppy and worked as a dog bather for 2 years previously. i’m available most hours of most days and willing to work together to build an appropriate schedule. The only day i can not schedule for is Sunday :) i currently live with three small dogs and a bunny. i’ve grown up around dogs of all sizes and because of that have experience with different age ranges: from pups to older pups. i’ve learned proper techniques for handling older or more stressed dogs from my previous experience as a dog bather and on occasion i pet sit the family bunny.

About: In the past I've owned cats for 16 years and a dog for 6. I have experience with elderly cats and dogs. I have also pet sit for family and friends I only work at night a couple days a week so I home a majority of the the and can provide your pet with constant care I have a house with a yard but there is no fence so dog would be on a leash outside. About: I've had dogs my whole life, helped with training, and often would dog and house sit for friends and family. I've attended several dog training courses with some of my own dogs, as well as researching and practicing on my own. I've helped a close friend and my sister do basic training with their own dogs. I also have 2 cats, and am careful to adjust treatment of all my animals to their personality and needs! I am available Mon/Tues/Saturday. I can be available Wednesday and Thursday with advanced notice. I am only available Sundays and/or Fridays upon request and with at least 3 weeks notice. I currently work part time in the service industry and am getting ready to go back to school for a career change. My schedule is mostly flexible, but I do have a commitment to my other job as well. I'm happy to work with anyone who needs me during unavailable days, don't be afraid to ask and we can see if we can work it out! My dog is not dog friendly, so I do not do any care at my residence. However, it means I am experienced with dogs who need a bit more awareness in their care than others! I'm attentive and firm, and am willing to go for a 2 hour hike or rest in the house depending on their needs.

About: I’ve have experience taking care of my own four dogs at home, as well as my family/friends’. Additionally, I have volunteered at multiple dog shelters. I am currently working part-time at Spirit Halloween while I wait to be shipped off to the Air Force national guard. My schedule is flexible! About: Hi! I'm looking for new wonderful pets to walk and take care of! I have taken in four rescues, all with different special physical and behavioral needs. I currently have two Pitbull mixes, one Lab mix, and a multiple tropical aquariums! Caring for animals has been a passion of mine since I was young. A favorite activity of mine is taking my dogs to local forest preserves where they can play and exert their energy. I can administer eye drops, pills, and ointments to pets as my own have different medications that they need on a regular basis. I have also taken classes in care for companion animals. Special needs animals have a forever place in my heart because I believe that every pup or cat deserves to enjoy life to the fullest! Whether that is hiking at a trail, swimming in a lake, or curling up on the couch- I'd love to help them do that! Currently very open for scheduling. Stays for over a week will have to be discussed as I do have to ensure time to take care of my own animals. I have been pet sitting for family, friends, and customers on another dog walking app for over 2 years. I work part time so I have a lot of availability! This summer is completely open for me since my nannying job stops for the summer! About: I've been taking care of dogs and cats for family and friends for the past 15 years and I've had two professional pet sitter jobs, One for a golden retriever for a few years and I've dog sitted for two pitbulls. I also grew up with 3 large dogs a Rottweiler, German shepherd and English Mastiffs. I'm currently on disability with autism spectrum and I have a lot of free time, I mostly play video games and play basketball at the park and the gym. I usually stay in the front room with the pets and let them outside or take them on walks depending on what people want me to do.

I love to take them running , teach new tricks, and overall make them feel like they're at home. Even if your dog is high energy, I will run with them , play games, and keep them entertained for as long as they're under my care. I can provide your dog with the home away from home experience and whether you're at work, or on vacation, your mind can be at ease because your dog will be safe and in good hands. About: I have over 13 years experience doing vet assistant and vet technician tasks and skills as a volunteer at The Animal Welfare League in Chicago Ridge, IL. I have been employed as part of the membership and philanthropic department at Lincoln Park Zoo from which I learned a great deal, stemming from my biology classes on taxonomy to zoology, to specific animal facts and conservation of threatened animals. I therefore know a great deal of educational background on animal behavior. I studied psychology and comparitive human psychology/animal behavior with a bachelors in science from IIT. I have grown up with dogs, cats, and ferrets. At Southwest Animal Care Center, I bathed, fed, walked, medicated, and cared for boarding and patient animals. I graduated with my veterinary assistant certificate in 2018. After graduating from IIT, I became a kennel attendant and learned a great deal about how to care for animals. Pet care is a daily task for me as I take care for two little fuzzbutt ferrets, Icarus and Agatha. Icarus often wakes me up with his bushy tailed excitement. I'm lucky to have such wonderful critters in my life. Right now, I am only offering dog walking and off-site at client's home services. From what I've read from the anthropologist book "Inside of a Dog" by Alexandra Horowitz, animals, especially dogs, crave human attention so being attentive to an animal's needs is to me, what's most important. This includes communicating with animals to know when they need a bathroom break, when they want play, when they want affection and cuddles, when they want nappy time, being fed according to what their schedule is, and of course, offering healthy treats (if allowed) and new novel smells, toys, etc. I can manage 4-5 walks per day with one or multiple dogs at a time 5-6 days a week. This is my main job and I'm dedicated to providing top care as if they are my own. I take extra care to be a courteous and contentious guest in the owner's home. I treat my stay with respect and humbly care. You can trust me to provide excellent care and keep everything tidy and clean.
