I also have a life time of experience loving and caring for animals, including my own two cat adorable black cats Elizabeth and Momo. In my childhood I took care of all the cats, dogs and horses on our family farm back in Missouri. In my 5 years as a pet sitter i've taken care of everything from geckos to guinea pigs. In that time I took classes in pet CPR and behavior management, particularly for large dogs. I know I can give your pet the love, care and attention they deserve. I hope you trust me to be your next pet sitter! I'm free on weekends (Friday night, Saturday and Sunday) for pet sitting and walking as well as over nights. I've worked with all sorts of animals, I've broken up ugly dog fights, changed diapers and sat with pups through seizures
“Siddhi is fabulous, I highly recommend her. She came through on short notice to sit my two cats during a holiday week, was extremely communicative, and took amazing pictures (seriously I have never gotten such good photos)! She was timely and helped us out by putting our packages inside and cleaning up unexpected pet messes. Thank you Siddhi!”

“This was Namira's second time watching my elderly dog, who added two pills since our last visit, and has been starting to struggle with joints. She was engaged and made sure to check in with me when he was potentially having a bad day so I could evaluate and I could feel confident he was in good hands once again.”

“Anastasiia is perfect as always! She made sure to take care of my Theo and operate the new automatic feeder I got him. She was also super flexible in meeting up to exchange keys. Thank you so much again!”

“Great walker! Very reliable, punctual, and caring. My dog was happy and well taken care of, and I really appreciated the updates and photos during the walk. You can tell they genuinely love animals and treat them with care. I would definitely book again and highly recommend!”

Lelia was great with my 2 cats, one of them took a treat right from her hand! This was the kitty who usually doesn’t go near anyone except me. She was able to give my cat his medications , all 4 of them with no issues ! I would definitely recommend her to any pet owners to care for their pets.

Having Diana take care of my cat Kiki has been such a blessing and relief. She takes amazing care of Kiki and is so detailed - she notices everything and communicates everything with me so I feel like I’m never wondering how things are going. I am so confident that Kiki is taken care of and loved! Just so grateful for you Diana, THANK YOU!

Tierney was friendly and a great communicator. My cat warmed up to her immediately. She followed all care instructions and made sure my purrbaby was well cared for while I was away. My cat was content and relaxed when I returned so I know he got ample play time and attention (and food!)

Samira did an amazing job taking care of my cat while I was away! She followed every instruction I provided and went above and beyond to make sure my cat was happy and well cared for. She also took loads of photos during each visit, which were very welcome and appreciated updates while I was away. I could also tell from the photos that my cat was very comfortable, happy, and playful around her. I would absolutely recommend Samira and she would be my top choice if I needed to book again in the future!

Absolutely fantastic sitter for our four kitties! She went above and beyond. It’s very clear she’s putting her whole heart into taking care of the fur babies. She stayed with them not just to feed and water but to play and brush, even bringing her own toys! Would rebook in a heartbeat.

Samia was fabulous once again! Can’t recommend her enough. Very communicative. Great videos. And even offered to bring in stuff before a storm. Our shy kitten LOVES her! And she’s super understanding when my older cat acts up. She leaves a different movie on for the girls before she leaves lol that’s my favorite.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
