I spend much of my time outdoors, and I love incorporating dogs into that lifestyle—hiking scenic trails, visiting off-leash parks, or just taking long neighborhood walks. I believe dogs thrive when they experience new encounters, and I work those moments of enrichment into every week. I live in a spacious, first-floor apartment with direct access to a secure patio and a neighborhood dog park—just steps outside my door. This makes potty breaks, quick outdoor play/walks, and socialization seamless and stress-free. Every day, our neighborhood hosts friendly dog meetups with well-behaved pups, offering perfect opportunities for your dog to engage with others in a safe environment. Inside my home, dogs will find a clean, calm, and organized space with plenty of enrichment. I have a variety of toys, training tools, puzzles, and games to ensure your dog stays mentally and physically stimulated—the goal is for no boredom and anxiety. I also keep a full range of grooming and cleaning supplies on hand, so whether your dog needs a simple wipe-down or a post-adventure bath, I’ve got it covered. I am well-versed in training methods and behavior management, so if your pup has specific routines or commands, I likely already have the knowledge and equipment to maintain their structure. I’m happy to reinforce crate training, leash manners, or any custom instructions you provide to ensure consistency while you’re away. I also have a well-socialized golden retriever mix who’s incredibly calm, friendly, and trained to model great behavior for other dogs. If your dog enjoys companionship, mine makes an excellent playmate. If needed, I can crate or separate the dogs for one-on-one attention or downtime—your dog’s comfort and safety always come first.

Woody provided updates with just the right frequency each day, took the dogs on multiple walks a day (a HUGE plus for us), and was so diligent and thoughtful about making sure our instructions/requests were fulfilled -- even checked in with us when our foster's ears were inflamed to ask if we'd like them to help administer medication, which was super thoughtful and appreciated. House was totally clean and pristine when we returned! Completely lovely person to chat with as well, and we look forward to hosting them again next time we're headed out of town!”

About: I pet sit because I want to, not because I need to💜. It’s a passion of mine to be around your pets. As the the oldest of 5 much younger siblings and a former professional nanny, I am a natural caregiver! Now, I am an independent hairstylist that works for myself, and as an animal lover, I have naturally become many of my clients trusted go-to pet sitter, especially for in house vacation pet sitting. I am highly trained as a former animal foster (including the bottle babies that require so much attention and responsibility) and as a professional care giver. I also grew up with non-traditional critters including, but not limited to, hedgehogs, salamanders, iguanas, guinea pigs, gerbils, etc. so I’m cool with whatever you throw at me! LGBTQ+ friendly!! I work for myself part time as a hairstylist. I make my own hours so it is very easy to not schedule on the days I am needed or to schedule large breaks in between. As a former nanny and elder millennial (lol) I am very responsible first! I always double check leashes, harnesses, doors, etc so you can leave your home feeling great with your guys in my hands. At my clients home, I very much like to follow their rules and instructions to the detail. I keep a photo and/or list of all instructions on my phone and a physical copy in my car. At my own home, I like to listen to what my clients feel comfortable with and follow that as discussed with them. I do like their pets to feel like I’m their loving grandma- they always get extra love and long walks when I come to see them!
