About: Thank you for considering me as a sitter! I love working with animals and hold myself to high standards of clear communication, responsibility, and compassionate care. I go above and beyond to provide pets with all the love and attention they deserve while giving their owners peace of mind while they're away. I'm extremely thorough with all things pet care, always ensuring that I follow instructions to a tee, send timely updates, and keep your pet happy, healthy, and safe. I know it's not easy to entrust your pets to a stranger, so I would be happy to jump on a FaceTime call or meet you in advance. Looking forward to connecting with you and your pets! I'm currently in grad school and working part-time, so I have a really flexible schedule! I enjoy being active, so I'm always up for taking your dogs for an extra walk, cleaning, or playing with your pets to ensure their needs are being met. Personally, I keep a pretty regular routine, so it's no problem for me to wake up early or follow the routine that best suits your pet. I have a fenced backyard, so I'm able to provide your dogs with plenty of fresh air! I am extremely thorough and pay close attention to detail, such as setting up preferred sleeping arrangements for your pet or preparing meals as instructed. I'm also very respectful of others' spaces and will always be mindful of keeping your place clean and safe if I am over.

“Kailey was a big help in taking care of my dog! She was super responsive and always sent the best updates with the cutest pictures. I could tell my girl was very happy being in Kailey’s care! Kailey will be my first choice for watching my dog in the future!!!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I can remember. I have always been the go-to with friends and neighbors to take care over night, walk or drop ins. I grew up with 3 dogs at once and from there have always had one of my own until recently with my job! I travel time to time for work, so owning one now isn’t in the cards. Being on Rover is the best of both worlds for me. I currently work from home, and have the flexibility to leave when needed. I wake up early for the gym, or a run, so if your dog likes running or needs a walk early in the morning, I can definitely do that as well. I live in an apartment, and it is very dog friendly. There are areas where other dogs are, if you are okay with that. I can wash the dog as well.
About: I’ve always had dogs growing up and they truly are my family. Since moving to Austin I am missing that piece of home. I can’t wait to love on your furry friend just like my own🩷 I love going on walks and being outside so if I can take your pup it makes me happier and also gives them a chance to enjoy being outside. I will respect your home as if it was my own. Ensure your pup is safe and comfortable while also getting a ton of love!
About: I’ve spent the past couple years learning the ins and outs as a first-time dog owner to a long haired dachshund. Experience with puppies, dogs in heat, and post-spayed care. I am a part-time nurse and full time nurse practitioner student. I am typically available for weekend boarding and drop-in visits after 5 PM! I live in an apartment with a spacious dog park backing up to Lady Bird Trail! Can accommodate a crate. Pets are allowed on the furniture at my place.
“Kate was great! She was always very prompt, sent lots of pictures, and left detailed reports on how my cat was doing. I will definitely be booking Kate again in the future when I travel!”

About: I’ve had the joy of caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I love getting to know each pet’s routine. I’ve house-sat for families with two small dogs, including a sweet pit bull, and I’m comfortable with everything from walks and playtime to keep pets company and make sure they feel safe while their families are away. I’ve also cared for dogs in my own home, where I have two cats who are comfortable and friendly around small dogs. In addition, I’ve dog-sat dogs who needed medication every 12 hours, so I’m comfortable sticking to a schedule. More than anything, I want pets to feel comfortable, happy and cared for while their people are away. I’m attentive to their routines, patient with their personalities and always happy to give them love and attention. I work hybrid and go into the office around three times a week for about two hours. I have an early morning routine so I’m happy to feed and give walks / care early. I am available for walks every 4-8 hours. I can board pretty much every day of the week as long as your pet is okay with me also taking care of my cats! I have a one bedroom apartment with two cats of my own, and separate pets during feeding time. I’m happy to create separate spaces for other times and can also make room for crates if needed. At your home, I’m happy to respect house rules while making sure your pet feels comfortable and at home.
“Regan is absolutely amazing!!!! She has cared for my pets in the past and will continue to use her in the future. I feel so at ease when she’s watching my cats.”

About: I am happy to walk your dog however far you want. Happy to pop in and check on the house whenever you’d like as well. I’m currently unemployed so I can be flexible. Hopefully I’ll have interviews pop up but I’m happy to work with the client. Preferably more morning and day heavy than evening heavy. Happy to play ball with your animals for hours or I can just hang out with them. I can’t have dogs in my apartment so this would have to be at your place.
“Had a great experience connecting with Joy for some weekend drop in visits for my senior chihuahua. She left detailed notes and great photos of her visits and followed all instructions perfectly. 💗”

“Bently took great care of our cat while we were away. He was always quick to respond, sent good visit summaries, and included lots of pictures! We’d definitely book Bently again!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Austin with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
