About: My wife and I moved to Austin for the running scene, so long walks and miles of movement are what I live for. If your dog has energy to burn, I’m more than happy to match their energy on the trails, sidewalks, and (safe) roads. I’m a former service dog trainer, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities, quirks, and needs. At home, we’ve got two bigger, high-energy older dogs, which means I’m used to handling strength, stamina, and the occasional “we’re not done yet” attitude. Whether your pup needs a chill walk, a proper outing, or a legit run, I’ve got you covered. I’m reliable, flexible, and I treat every dog like they’re my own . As a work-from-home running coach, I have availability all day any day and am happy to move my running schedule around to fit running or walking with your pup! I've had and taken care of others' dogs for as long as I can remember! With two high-energy older dogs at home, I know how important it is to make sure a dog's unique, detailed needs are met. As a former dog trainer and pet sitter with over a decade of experience, you can trust your dog will be cared for as if they were my own.
About: My family always had labradors growing up, I learned how to take care of animals the right way. Every dog deserves to go to bed the right kind of tired every night, having been loved and given exercise for the mind and body. A restless pup is truly heartbreaking to me, so if all your dog needs is some attention or if they need a long walk with lots of time to smell, I can help out. I’m only working part time right now, and I need something to fill the gaps. I’m a morning person mostly just because I hate afternoon traffic. I have a big backyard and comfy apartment, I can accommodate anything your pet needs. Also if you have specific instructions for your pup I can follow them to the T.
About: I have been around pets my whole life, but I’ve been taking care of them on my own for about 2 years. I also have personal experience owning a dog, a cat and two guinea pigs. I have cared for pets of all ages from playful puppies and kittens to senior pets that need extra attention. Every pet I have taken care of has always been in good hands I’m a college student in the AFROTC program at UT Austin. My weekdays can get pretty busy with classes, but Mondays and Fridays I’m mostly free. I also have some breaks between classes Tuesday through Thursday where I can stop by for pet care. Fridays and weekends are usually wide open, so I have plenty of time to give your pets the attention they need I don’t bring pets into my own home, but I make sure they’re comfortable and cared for in their own space. I follow the owner’s instructions closely, keep up with feeding and walks, give them playtime and attention, and make sure they feel safe while you’re away.
“We feel lucky to have Valerie! She was our first rover after bringing home our puppy and have her help most days of the week, to help manage work schedules with puppy life. Valerie cares about his progress and working on the commands we are, during her visit. We couldn’t be happier!”

“Brittany was great with my cat Smokey! She sent pictures daily, and it seems like he got all the cuddles and attention he needed while I was away. Brittany provided very long and helpful updates so I could stay assured that he was in good hands while I wasn't there.”

About: I’ve spent the past couple years learning the ins and outs as a first-time dog owner to a long haired dachshund. Experience with puppies, dogs in heat, and post-spayed care. I am a part-time nurse and full time nurse practitioner student. I am typically available for weekend boarding and drop-in visits after 5 PM! I live in an apartment with a spacious dog park backing up to Lady Bird Trail! Can accommodate a crate. Pets are allowed on the furniture at my place.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Austin
We went out of town for several days and the family member that was staying with the dogs worked some unusual hours so we booked Cicely for some drop ins to help us out. She handled our rambunctious dogs well and was very communicative, thorough, and sent lots of pictures. I would absolutely book Cicely again!

Michelle was an amazing pet sitter! She did drop-in visits for my pets and was incredibly attentive, caring, and reliable. It was obvious that she genuinely cared about their well-being, and she kept me updated with excellent communication throughout each visit, which gave me so much peace of mind. My pets absolutely loved her, and I could tell they were well cared for while I was away. I highly recommend Michelle to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter, and I will definitely be booking her again!

Another stellar pet sitting experience with Lauren! Lauren gave excellent updates, was proactive with sharing details about their schedule, and sent lots of great candid photos of our pets. Our dog and cat received excellent care. We arrived to them both happy and not stressed, and it was clear they had plenty of playtime and attention while we were gone.

I couldn’t recommend Elise enough. I was last minute looking for a sitter before my trip and she made me very comfortable with having her come in my home and look after my two dogs. One of my dogs even had an accident and she cleaned it up which I can’t thank her enough for. She sent so many update pictures and my dogs were very happy. Will definitely be booking again.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone.
