“Christine was an absolute delight to communicate with, and we trust her implicitly with caring for our pet dog and cat, both are senior animals who require medication and special attention. Christine was quick to respond to our inquiries, and left thorough notes for each visit. We highly recommend Christine to anyone who needs pet care assistance.”
About: As a dog mom to a Newfoundland, I know firsthand how to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I bring experience training playful puppies, caring for senior pets, and tailoring routines to each pet’s needs. Your furry friend will be treated like family! 🐾 As someone who works from home with a flexible schedule, pet care easily fits into my daily routine. I’m able to provide plenty of attention, regular walks, and playtime throughout the day, ensuring your pet feels cared for and never alone. At my home, I make sure pets feel safe and comfortable, with plenty of room to play and relax. I stick to their routine—whether it’s mealtime, walks, or play—so they feel right at home. When I’m at a client’s home, I keep things familiar for the pet, following their schedule and making sure they’re happy and loved. Plus, I’ll keep you updated so you know your furry friend is in good hands!

“Sarah is the best sitter!!! I loved getting daily updates and pictures while she was watching my cat. I highly highly recommend - it was my first time using Rover and I'm so happy I went with Sarah!! And I'll be booking her again :)”

About: I grew up with cats, but all my friends have dogs so I know how to to handle a lot of different dog breeds. I also dog sit for my neighbor. I am still in school, but I have the weekends available and after 4 on week days. I am able to be flexible in my schedule. I can check up on the animals, walk them, play with them, feed them, dispose of their waste, and I will consider any other needs.

About: Hi! I’m 24 years old and recently completed my M.S. in Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M. I’m spending the summer in Austin before heading to California this fall to begin veterinary school! I’ve always had a strong love for animals and am excited to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. While living in College Station, I worked with Lucky Paws BCS, a pet care organization, where I got experience caring for a wide variety of pets at their own home. I’m comfortable with walks, feeding, playtime, administering medications etc. I have my own car, live in central Austin, and have a flexible schedule this summer. I’d love the opportunity to care for your pets! I just want the best care for your fur baby so my prices are flexible! I am currently in Austin for the next two months before I move to attend veterinary school, so I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to your pets! I am available for drop-ins, walks, feeding, playtime, medication administration if needed, and giving your pets lots of attention and companionship throughout the week. Because I currently live with my parents’ dogs, I’m unable to board pets in my home, but I am more than happy to spend extended time caring for your fur babies in the comfort of their own home where they feel safest and most comfortable. As a future veterinary student, I truly enjoy being around animals and love building trust and relationships with each pet I care for! I always try to follow each pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and stress-free while you’re away! I’m happy to do whatever makes you feel most comfortable, whether that’s walks, playtime, feeding, medications, or extra cuddles and attention. Your pets will have my full attention the entire time I’m with them, and I’m always happy to send updates and photos for peace of mind!
“Five Stars! Jessica did a great job showing up and taking care of my doggies. They were happy pups when I returned. Plus she made sure everything was in place and took out the garbage too boot!”
About: I’ve taken care of my family dogs for awhile now and my friends and family call me a dog whisperer, and cats can approach me very well. I’m an Eagle Scout and know how to take care of most situations, especially in dog sitting Currently I’m home from college for the summer and looking to play with some living pets and just give them a good time while you are out having yours. I have a fenced yard and 1 labradoodle who is such a friendly soft dog. In her mind she still is a baby and she knows how to play and in amazingly disciplined.
“ChunYu was an AMAZING sitter for my two cats! She was extremely responsive and descriptive in her recaps of her visits. She also very clearly gave lots of attention, energy, and loving to them, would 500% book again.”

About: I’ve taken care of many different dogs throughout my family and neighborhood growing up. I have taken care of puppies all the way up to senior dogs. I’m currently between jobs, so I am available most days unless I am traveling. When I am working, I work remote so I am pretty flexible. I care for pets however the owner prefers. For example I can crate them and leave them off the furniture if that is preferred or they can be allowed on the couch/bed in my home/owners home for some cuddles!
“Mariia has been highly reliable and is always available even at the last minute. I really appreciate her help with taking care of my dog while I am at work.”

“Great sitter! She took wonderful care of Willow, attended to all her needs, and was super responsive throughout. I felt very comfortable leaving Willow with her and would definitely book again :)”

“Dulce is so great with my pup ziggy! I’m a nurse and work weird days and she is so accommodating with my schedule and so flexible! My pup is very high energy but she handles him really well and I know he’s in good hands! I feel so confident in her ability and know that my pup is well taken care of when she watches him!”

“Emily was wonderful! She communicated quickly, asked good questions when she was introduced to our dog and took lots of photos with a detailed report at each visit. Our dog looked so happy in each photo, too! We came home to a happy and confident pup so I know things went well. We look forward to having Emily take care of our girl again!”

“It’s comforting to know your pets are getting excellent care with Emma. We were able to relax and enjoy our vacation without worrying about our senior dog and visiting granddog. So appreciative of Emma and this service!”

About: I've always grown up around dogs since I had two family dogs and my mom does dog sitting as a side job. I helped her a lot in high school so I have a lot of experience with this work. I love dogs and would love to take care of yours! I'm currently a college student at UT, I don't have anything going on in the summer so I'm mostly free anytime. I have a lot of time on my hands so I'll make sure to take good care of your pets When I enter other people's homes for pet care work, I make sure to leave the area clean and tidy. Always make sure the doors are locked and the pets are safe

About: I have loved and lived with animals my entire life, growing up with dogs since birth. I currently care for parents dog and cat, which gives me daily, hands-on experience managing different pet personalities, feeding schedules, and keeping both dogs and cats happy and safe. This summer, I am taking online classes from home and do not have a full-time job. This gives me a completely open, highly flexible schedule. I will be spending the vast majority of my day directly at your home, meaning your pets will have constant companionship, frequent potty breaks, and plenty of attention. Safety and respect are my top priorities. I treat your home with the utmost care, keeping everything clean, secure, and locked. I also send daily photo and text updates so you always know your pets are safe, happy, and thriving.

Bianca was beyond terrific with watching our two pups! She is very dependable and provided awesome communication, updates and pictures. She interacted with our dogs very well and really cared about them in an awesome manner. We would highly recommend Bianca to anyone!!

Anna is the best! She’s watched cinnamon multiple times for me now. Cinny is not easy and she goes above and beyond giving her the best care while I’m away. She is always responsive, and I can tell cinnamon is having a great time in all the photos. Could not recommend Anna more!

Lucia was very thoughtful and kind, she did a great job walking and checking up on my dog max! He’s very old and has a lot of health issues, I usually have a hard time finding a willing sitter. Lucia met all of his needs with great care and attention. 5 stars and will definitely book again.
We needed someone last minute for morning drop-ins for our 2 puppers while we were out of town, and Madison was absolutely amazing!! Communication was on point, and we could really tell from the daily photos that the boys were absolutely LOVING their visits and walks. As someone who is fairly particular… I would absolutely, without hesitation, recommend Madison. 10/10. Five stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.
Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a West Lake Hills stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.
Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in West Lake Hills choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in West Lake Hills with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
