“Nicolle is awesome! Our dog immediately loved her, which she normally doesn’t do. Nicolle’s communication was excellent, she was flexible, and took amazing care of our dog. Will definitely be rebooking!”

About: I've cared for dogs since age 18, including three senior pups. Friends and family trust me with pet care, and I love helping dogs. I work Monday thru Friday but I work from home on Monday and Tuesday. I have a one hour lunch Wednesday thru Friday. So I have time to play with pups. I no longer have any dogs of my own, as they have all crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I have a large, unfenced yard with plenty of room to explore. Pups can enjoy free roam of the house or be comfortably crated if needed, depending on their routine and your preferences.
“Ashley is the best! She took wonderful care of our cats while we were out of town for 3 weeks. She sent pictures and updates every visit and took the time to earn their trust. We love that she treated our babies as she would her own. Thank you so much Ashley! You're a gem!”

“Iran was an outstanding cat sitter. My cats settled in right away and clearly felt comfortable and happy in her care. She followed all instructions carefully and went above and beyond with anything else. We received regular photo and video updates, which gave me peace of mind while we we're was away. The house was left tidy and everything was exactly as it was before we left. She was professional, reliable, and great with cats. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy cat sitter.”

“Angelica did a great job with our pups when we were out of town. She followed my instructions and reached out when there were any questions. We are very glad she was available to watch our fur babies and will definitely use her again!”

“Jacqueline has been excellently taken care of our dog and spending time with him. He has anxiety and takes time to warm up to new people, but she handled him perfectly!”

About: Dogs are truly my best friends. I try to care for them as much as they care for us. I'm used to being around large dogs, so I have no problem with them. I am working part-time right now and I work early in the morning and get off at midday. My partner feeds the dogs before I get home. I have a large yard for your dog to play. I also can take your dog on a hike or a walk, whatever is preferred. My house has an open layout so they can even run around inside. If your dog usually sleeps in a crate, I don't have one, so that would need to be provided.
“Aleece was wonderful! Her chemistry and my baby boy Kai’s chemistry clicked instantly! She sticked to the schedule and took tons of pictures to keep us updated! Kai was super happy the entire time and it’s always great to return back from a trip to a happy pup! There were no issues either! Made us feel safe and gave us comfort while we were away! I will definitely request again!”

“I was really nervous, but he did real well and treated my Leo right and it was really smooth. I love that he was very responsive and took pictures for me so I can have peace of mind. 💕”

About: Hi, I'm Donna, a navy veteran and I have been doing dog walking and boardings for 6 1/2 years now. I absolutely love it. I am a high energy person and walking dogs really helps me not only physically but mentally and emotionally as well. I would love the opportunity to walk your furry Bestie. I am looking to make this my full time job so I have a very open schedule. I do go to church on Sunday from 10:45 A.M. to 12:15 P.M. and am available after that. I live in a 2,800 square foot 2 story home with a nice fenced in yard. I am within walking distance of a dog park. When I walk the dogs I like to run with them, but I always check with the pet parents first to make sure it's okay with them. I will go above and beyond to take care of your fury best friends. I respect the bond that takes place between the owner and the fury one.

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember. I grew up around dogs and have owned four dogs throughout my life, giving me experience with different personalities, energy levels, and care needs. While I wasn’t around many cats growing up because of my dad’s allergies, I quickly fell in love with them and now share my home with two cats of my own. Over the years, I’ve regularly pet sat and walked dogs for friends and family simply because I enjoy spending time with animals. Now, I’m excited to turn that passion into a side gig through Rover. I understand that being away from their family can be stressful for pets, so I always focus on making them feel comfortable, safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. My goal is to treat every pet like they’re part of my own family and give you peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. I do work a full-time job, about 8 hours a day Monday-Friday. However, my hours are pretty flexible through the week so I can work around a schedule. I always make sure the pets feel comfortable with me and listen to their needs! If they are feeling anxious or scared I make sure to be patient and give them the time they need. If they are super cuddly I make sure to give them all the love I can give and play with them! I can take them on walks or play with them around the house!
“Aaliyah took care of our three cats for 8 days and did a fantastic job!! We had no worries and felt assured they were in good hands. She followed are care instructions perfectly and was very communicative! Would go with Aaliyah and highly recommended her!”

“Mikayla has become my go-to sitter for my two mini dachshunds and one large mixed breed. She’s always on time, always spends time with my pups and is very flexible and communicative. I trust her with my babies. Thank you!”

About: Hi! I’m a dedicated dog lover and proud owner of a 7-year-old husky, so I’m very comfortable handling high-energy dogs and all sizes—from small pups to large breeds. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every dog like my own—with patience, attention, and lots of care. Whether your dog needs a calm walk or a more active outing, I’m happy to match their energy and routine. I currently offer: • Evening walks during the week • Wednesday check-ins (I work from home that day) • Weekend walks and drop-ins I’m reliable, communicative, and will always keep you updated with messages and photos so you feel at ease while you’re away. Looking forward to meeting you and your pup! 🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I plan my schedule around providing reliable and consistent care for each pet I work with. During the week, I’m available for evening walks, which works well for dogs that need exercise after their owners’ workday. On Wednesdays, I work from home, which allows me to offer more flexible daytime check-ins and visits. I’m also available on weekends for walks and drop-ins, with a more open schedule. As a dog owner myself, I already have a daily routine built around pet care, so adding additional walks and visits is something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize. I always tailor my care to each pet’s individual needs and routine. As a husky owner, I’m very experienced with maintaining structure, exercise, and attention for both high-energy and more relaxed dogs. For walks and drop-in visits in a client’s home, I make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for. This includes fresh water, feeding if needed, potty breaks, and exercise based on their energy level. I also spend quality time with them so they feel comfortable and not alone. I pay close attention to any instructions provided—whether that’s medication, preferred walking routes, or specific routines—and I always prioritize safety, like secure leashing and monitoring behavior on walks. I also provide regular updates with photos so owners feel confident and informed while they’re away.

Benita is great with Hawk! He can take some time to warm up to new people, but I feel like he is getting more and more comfortable with her. She is very patient and understanding with him, especially with his accidents 😔, which I really appreciate. I feel very comfortable having her take care of him! 😊

If you book Jessica you can rest assured your pup will be in very good hands. Shes been a life saver after my work schedule changed unexpectedly. She takes extremely good care of my pup and my home. She takes him on walks, makes sure he has plenty of water and even brushes him down since he likes to roll in the grass. She provides constant updates and is on top of absolutely everything. She maintains a very high level of professionalism the whole time. I’m very glad she accepted my bookings! Her photos updates and report cards are the absolute best.

Having Mina and Antony take care of our babies allows me to feel comfortable leaving them. They are great drop in carers and Dakota enjoys seeing them when they come by. Ernie is even getting friendlier about coming out of hiding when they are there. Thank you so much, Mina and Antony!

Isabela was great! I’m so happy I found her. She was very kind and patient with my nervous husky. She loved on my little one and was very understanding of what they each needed. During her drop in, she played with them and sent me pictures and videos! I’d definitely hire her again. I love how kind she was to my dogs and how communicative she was with me during her time there.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
