“Used Jacqueline for my wedding day to drop in and check on my dogs and she was amazing! They were all tired out and also had her company. Would definitely recommend her and use her again.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Alexcymar! She took great care of our kitty Pepper while we were away and gave us such peace of mind. We received updates and pictures/videos after every drop-in visit, which we truly appreciated. After 6 days, we came home to a happy kitty! We would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful and caring pet sitter.”

About: I’ve grown up around both dogs and cats, so caring for animals has always come naturally to me. I have experience taking care of my own dog as well as helping coworkers and neighbors by watching their pets during weekends and trips. I’m patient, attentive, and make sure each pet feels comfortable, safe, and loved while you’re away. I’m especially mindful of each pet’s routine and needs, whether that’s keeping up with feeding schedules, providing playtime, or giving extra care and attention to more anxious or older pets. I’m a teacher with summers off, which gives me a very flexible schedule to care for your pets whenever it works best for you. I am available any day or night of the week. In my client’s home, I follow each pet’s normal routine to help them feel comfortable and secure. This includes feeding on schedule, fresh water, walks, playtime, and any medication or special care instructions. I also make sure their space stays clean and tidy, and I give plenty of attention and affection so they don’t feel lonely while you’re away. My goal is to keep everything as consistent and stress-free as possible for your pet.
About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities. My husband and I have two dogs of our own, and they truly are our world, so caring for dogs is a natural part of our everyday life 🐾 What sets me apart is my experience with senior dogs and administering medications, even to dogs who may be hesitant or a bit stubborn. I’m patient, calm, and detail-oriented, and I take the time to make sure each dog feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. As a fellow dog mom, I understand how important trust and communication are. I follow routines closely, treat every dog like family, and provide regular photo and text updates so you can feel confident while you’re away. I’d love to meet you and your pup and help make your time away stress-free. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily routine since I work fully remote and am home throughout the day. This allows me to provide frequent potty breaks, playtime, attention, and companionship rather than leaving dogs alone for long periods. I follow a consistent routine with scheduled feedings, walks, enrichment, and rest, and I’m happy to adjust to each dog’s specific needs. Caring for my own two dogs has made pet care a natural part of my everyday life, and I truly enjoy creating a safe, loving environment for every dog in my care. I care for pets as if they were my own, following their usual routines to help them feel comfortable and secure. In my home, dogs receive regular potty breaks, walks, playtime, meals, and plenty of attention throughout the day. Since I work fully remote, they are rarely left alone. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow all instructions closely and respect their space, ensuring pets receive consistent care, exercise, and any special attention they need. I also provide regular photo and text updates so owners feel informed and at ease.
About: Hi! I’m a dedicated dog lover and proud owner of a 7-year-old husky, so I’m very comfortable handling high-energy dogs and all sizes—from small pups to large breeds. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every dog like my own—with patience, attention, and lots of care. Whether your dog needs a calm walk or a more active outing, I’m happy to match their energy and routine. I currently offer: • Evening walks during the week • Wednesday check-ins (I work from home that day) • Weekend walks and drop-ins I’m reliable, communicative, and will always keep you updated with messages and photos so you feel at ease while you’re away. Looking forward to meeting you and your pup! 🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I plan my schedule around providing reliable and consistent care for each pet I work with. During the week, I’m available for evening walks, which works well for dogs that need exercise after their owners’ workday. On Wednesdays, I work from home, which allows me to offer more flexible daytime check-ins and visits. I’m also available on weekends for walks and drop-ins, with a more open schedule. As a dog owner myself, I already have a daily routine built around pet care, so adding additional walks and visits is something I genuinely enjoy and prioritize. I always tailor my care to each pet’s individual needs and routine. As a husky owner, I’m very experienced with maintaining structure, exercise, and attention for both high-energy and more relaxed dogs. For walks and drop-in visits in a client’s home, I make sure pets are safe, comfortable, and well cared for. This includes fresh water, feeding if needed, potty breaks, and exercise based on their energy level. I also spend quality time with them so they feel comfortable and not alone. I pay close attention to any instructions provided—whether that’s medication, preferred walking routes, or specific routines—and I always prioritize safety, like secure leashing and monitoring behavior on walks. I also provide regular updates with photos so owners feel confident and informed while they’re away.

“This was my first time using Rover for drop-in visits and my first time leaving my cat for an extended period of time. Cassidy was SO amazing with her care and attention for my fur baby, she really helped ease my worries while I was away (thank you for all the photo updates 🥹)! Cassidy was very punctual, communicative, resourceful, caring, responsible, and thoughtful, I could not ask for a better pet-sitting experience! My kitty is hesitant around new people, but Cassidy’s patience and kindness really helped build trust between them during the meet-and-greet. Thank you again for taking care of my baby, I will definitely re-booking 🤗”

About: I am a licensed veterinary technician here in our great state of Texas, and have cared for hundreds of animals both in the hospital setting and in my own home. When my coworkers go on vacation, they know they will have peace of mind leaving their own animals with me. I’ve got three cats and a tri-pod mixed breed dog who we adopted from the shelter as a 6 month old puppy. Working in the hospital I understand that all pets are different and have their own quirks, personalities & preferences. This is especially true when in a new place and away from their routine! Rest assured that if any medical concerns arise while you are away, I will be able to triage your pet and communicate concerns quickly. I am able to administer oral and injectable medications and perform many medical tasks special needs or senior pets may require. I work three 12 hour shifts at the hospital and one half day 6-8hr shift, the rest of the week I am home. Each week my schedule is different. Our yard is fenced with plenty of space to sniff around and play. My own dog is crate trained and remains kenneled for her own and my cat’s safety when unsupervised. I do not believe any dog should be left un-kenneled if unsupervised (working in veterinary medicine, I have seen it all - dog fights, foreign body/toxin ingestion, self harm and more)
“Caroline was a perfect fit for our dogs! It was obvious from the start that she has a special talent for working with furry friends, and that they trusted her immediately. Dogs were fed, got a potty and outside break, and a visit with some scritches and sweet talk. Caroline sent pics to reassure us that everyone was comfortable, happy, and having a good time. Highly recommended!”

“Dee Dee is amazing - we were lucky enough to find her as soon as we moved to Austin and have been with her ever since. Our two large dogs absolutely love her and are grateful that Dee Dee is so reliable and kind. She didn’t even break a sweat when I requested a booking 24 hours before! She is truly an awesome dog mama and anyone is lucky to work with her!”

About: Dogs are truly my best friends. I try to care for them as much as they care for us. I'm used to being around large dogs, so I have no problem with them. I am working part-time right now and I work early in the morning and get off at midday. My partner feeds the dogs before I get home. I have a large yard for your dog to play. I also can take your dog on a hike or a walk, whatever is preferred. My house has an open layout so they can even run around inside. If your dog usually sleeps in a crate, I don't have one, so that would need to be provided.
About: I have a lot of care in puppies as I have one of my own, I also am a babysitter for babies and I have two other dogs of my own, one’s a senior dog and one’s a middle aged dog both small but mighty. I know how to teach commands, play, walk, cuddle them if needed or wanted. I know a lot about animals I have a lot of care in puppies as I have one of my own, I also am a babysitter for babies and I have two other dogs of my own, one’s a senior dog and one’s a middle aged dog both small but mighty. I walk 9 miles every day, I love to go on hikes any adventure and of course I bring my pup with me. I can follow rules easily and love to play with animals. I find taking care of animals therapeutic and quit easy wether it’s a challenge or not I can figure it out ! I have a fenced backyard, a bunch of toys for all dogs to play with, and I have one fur pup for any dog to play with. (My two other dogs are little chubby and old to be playing). I have lots of leashes, bowls, blankets, beds, bones to chew on.
“I was really nervous, but he did real well and treated my Leo right and it was really smooth. I love that he was very responsive and took pictures for me so I can have peace of mind. 💕”

About: I’ve shared a home with dogs and cats since I can remember. I have been there since they were pups/kittens until end of life. I cannot imagine a home without fur babies! I am currently in between jobs as I am completing grad school. I am available often as long as I have enough notice as I am also a momma of teenage boys! I will care for you baby at your home and will follow your guidance and respect your boundaries while accompanying your fur baby! I don’t shy away from cleaning after them while I am with them!

“Raquel is awesome! She does home visits during the day while I’m at work and makes sure that both of my dogs get some time to run around in the yard and go potty. She is very responsive and my dogs love her!”

“Emma did such a wonderful job caring for our kitty! She usually is really annoyed with us and kinda freaked out when we come home from a trip, but she was totally normal this time thanks to Emma's great care!”
About: I cry in 97% of movies with animals, therefore I will not watch them. I love dogs and will treat and love on yours like my own. I don't believe in hitting a dog for discipline or any other reason. Just give me the necessary queues/words to use to get them to follow commands. I'm unemployed. If this can become a consistent job, I'll be ecstatic! Dogs love unconditionally and deserve the same from us. They provide supreme comfort. I feel dogs should be inside. Can stay longer times outside depending on weather. If they're outside we can't love on them like we should.

Having Mina and Antony take care of our babies allows me to feel comfortable leaving them. They are great drop in carers and Dakota enjoys seeing them when they come by. Ernie is even getting friendlier about coming out of hiding when they are there. Thank you so much, Mina and Antony!

Isabela was great! I’m so happy I found her. She was very kind and patient with my nervous husky. She loved on my little one and was very understanding of what they each needed. During her drop in, she played with them and sent me pictures and videos! I’d definitely hire her again. I love how kind she was to my dogs and how communicative she was with me during her time there.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
