“We have booked Joel several times before and we will continue doing. Communication is always clear and constant, he was punctual and respectful with our home. On top of that, our dogs love him and get a little crazy when “uncle” Joel arrives. He even accepted taking care of our pups on a short notice during an emergency trip. Thank you Joel!”
About: While I haven’t owned a dog of my own (have always had cats & love them with my whole heart), I have cared for my friends/family’s dogs countless times over the years. (Also can’t wait to have one later on, specially a corgi) I specifically take care of my dad’s chocolate lab (full of energy) & we do great together. She’s still a puppy but I have taught her how to lay down & do paw. (Dad already taught her to sit). I take care of every animal as if they are my own. While it takes responsibility to take care of animals, I have always felt like it was never a hassle with how much I love animals. Your babies will receive the best care with me! I am punctual about times if they have a set schedule as well. Let me care for your fur babies as we will be become besties! :) I currently am a full-time student as well as a part-time employee at ACC. I work on Monday -Thursday from 12:30pm - 5pm. My job allows me to be able to work on school work while at work which is quite lovely so, school doesn’t tend to affect my timing for things. As I said, I care for every animal as if they are my own. When they go out, I go out with them and they never leave my sight. If they need to be fenced in, I can make it happen. When taking care of animals of others, I keep my phone ringer on at all times in case they need to call for any reason. Overall, your animals and I would become besties.
“Karen is fantastic with my kiddos! They’re super reliable, kind, accommodating and always make sure my dog is happy and well cared for. I love getting updates and seeing how much fun they are having. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy and loving to help with your pet, Karen is the best!”

About: I’ve spent my whole life caring for animals. From sugar gliders to snakes, cats to dogs, if it wiggles, waddles, slithers, or snoozes, I love it! I’ll treat your fur baby like family and make sure they get spoiled :) I am very flexible and would love the opportunity to care for your pet. Whether it’s early morning, late evenings, or weekends, I would love to help care for your pet. I would be available to drop in for pet sitting, walks, and cat care. Whether it is multiple times a day or only once, I am very flexible.
“Kinzi is refreshingly professional and dependable. She was thorough during our initial meeting which provided peace of mind while we were gone. Looking forward to hiring her again in the near future!”

About: Passionate pet lover and dependable dog walker ready to give your pups the exercise, enrichment, and attention they crave! Growing up with medium-sized dogs gave me a strong foundation in handling energetic, playful pups, while my hippotherapy rotation in graduate school deepened my understanding of animal behavior, movement, and the powerful bond between pets and people. I offer attentive, personalized walks tailored to your dog’s energy level, personality, and needs — always with safety, positive reinforcement, and plenty of fun (and belly rubs!) at the forefront. I treat every dog like my own and bring calm, reliable care to every outing. Bark! I work a flexible full time job from 9-5, Tuesday-Friday with occasional availability during the day. I am otherwise free between the hours of 8 am-9 pm, Saturday-Monday. I’m often in town during holidays. Bark! I have a longstanding history of clear background checks and providing trusted care to vulnerable populations. I have great situational awareness and quickly respond to any anticipated safety concerns.
“Definitely five stars for Meni. She’s a great communicator, prompt, and treated my dog and two kitties with the upmost care. We’ll definitely be using her services again.”

“Morgan was absolutely AMAZING!! This is our second time leaving our Benji with her and we trust her 100%! Our Benji loves her and her kids! He had a few accidents and she was so sweet to clean it up for us and let us know where they were. She also sent us videos of him and always gave us the best updates! She also started our roomba before we came home which was so thoughtful! Don’t think I’m ever getting another sitter!!”

About: I have owned two dogs myself, and my girlfriend owns one aswell, one being a puppy, and another gone sadly. I have experience with all ages of animals. This is currently my side hustle, and would love to care for pets! I am free most of the time but might also pick up a part time job. I am very loving, gentle, and very patient with animals. A lot of people also say their animals get a long with me really easily!

“Fabtastic choice! Sophia was very communicative, timely, and attentive to our pup + cats needs! She went above and beyond to make sure our senior boy was well taken care of while we were away. Would recommend big time!”

About: Hi, l'm Mona! I do lashes for a living, but dogs have always had my heart. I've spent the last 5 years caring for pups of all kinds, and I treat every single one like they're my own spoiled fur baby. Because I work from home and set my own hours, your dog gets nonstop love - cuddles, walks, playtime, and all the attention they could ever want. High-energy zoomies dog? Senior nap-lover? I've got them covered with personalized care and lots of affection. I run my own business, which gives me a flexible schedule for pet care. I’m available for boarding early in the morning and in the evenings, with additional availability on weekends. Your pet will get consistent attention, playtime, and comfort throughout the day. I live in a pet‑friendly, clean apartment where animals feel safe and relaxed. My building has a dog park directly in front, making potty breaks and play sessions super convenient and safe. Inside, your pet will have a calm, tidy space to unwind. I follow your care instructions closely and can crate your dog if that’s part of their routine.
“Angela is amazing! My cat Squiggs has never taken to any sitter like he did Angela! She played with him and let him do the things he likes to do with me, such as walk around in my apt building’s hallway and she opened the windows to let him get as close to going outside as he could while I was away!(we take daily walks) I highly recommend Angela, she was attentive and caring and Squiggs was just as in top form when I returned from my trip as when I left! Thanks again Angela!!”

About: I have had dogs my whole life. I recently lost my best friend of old age a Maltese, I currently have a French Bulldog, Rottweiler, and Doberman. I have experience with a wide range of pets. I currently have a flexible schedule during the weekdays and will have plenty of time to play with your pets. My weekends will be unavailable. I do have a fenced yard with enough room to run around. My pets at home are very friendly with other pets that come in.

About: i have owned dogs all my life and think they are definitely man's best friend. After having not so great experience at kennels, I looked into DogVacay and loved it. I realized that it is a way for pet owners to have the freedom to travel without worrying about their dogs safety and comfort. Since I am retired, I thought it would be something that I could do to supplement my income and also, something that I would enjoy. I have a home with an enclosed yard and a little mixed schnauzer that loves the company of other dogs. I would look after your pets like they are my own, because I know how they become like one of your children. I would play with them and take them on walks in our quiet, safe neighborhood. I am retired, so have lots of time to spend with your pets. Although I love being retired, I need to be busy and spending time with dogs, is something that I enjoy. So it's a win, win situation for everyone. I have a large backyard, with new fence. Your dogs will be safe and free to run a d play. Have one small dog, so your pet will be able to socialize.

I understand how important peace of mind is when you're entrusting someone with your furry family member. You can count on regular updates, clear communication, and reliable care every step of the way. I look forward to meeting you and your pets! Pet sitting is a natural fit for my lifestyle. I work from home, which gives me the flexibility to be mobile and accommodate visits, walks, and check-ins throughout the day. Rather than being tied to an office, I can provide reliable care and attention when pets need it most. As a lifelong animal lover, I enjoy spending time with pets and helping families feel confident that their furry family members are well cared for while they’re away. I provide care exclusively in my clients' homes so pets can remain comfortable in the environment they know best. I understand that consistency helps pets feel secure when their owners are away. I take time to learn each pet's personality, preferences, and any special needs before the visit. During my stay, I keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can have peace of mind knowing their pets are happy, safe, and well cared for in their own home.

About: I have worked and shadowed in veterinary clinics/rehabs and pet boarding/daycare facilities, I volunteer sometimes at my local animal shelter, I am currently in college studying kinesiology to do canine rehabilitation, and I also sit and walk my family friends dogs and cats occasionally. I am currently working part-time at a pet boarding/daycare facility called Paws Landing, so I will have plenty of time to dog/cat sit or walk! My shifts for my current job are 5:30am-1:30pm and 1:30pm-9:30pm so it just depends when I work to know when I am available. I chose my own hours at my job so I can totally work around my schedule to fit you in! In client’s homes, I take the time to understand your pet’s needs, behavior cues, and comfort zones. I will make sure to follow every feeding and medication instructions precisely, and make sure there is no changes in behavior or health with your baby. Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Leander
Leah did an amazing job taking care of our dogs! She was incredibly kind, attentive, and caring throughout the entire visit. She even took the initiative to put our trash out and bring the trash bin back into the garage something that was completely beyond what we expected. We truly have no words to express how grateful we are for her thoughtfulness and willingness to go the extra mile. Thank you so much, Leah! We would absolutely recommend you to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate pet sitter.

5 ⭐️ I needed to leave on short notice, and Nigel and Ziggy needed adhere to a strict schedule for food and potty as they always have. Demona went above and beyond for my sweet boys (I think they prefer her more than me now!) She was very communicative and followed instructions very well. I know for sure she treated them as if they were her own canine companions. Can not recommend her enough! Thanks, Demona!

Suzanna was wonderful to work with! We scheduled her for drop in visits to let our pup out mid day during our first week at our new jobs, and I could tell he had a great time with her each day. She posted lots of photos and always made sure he got some exercise and went potty! Thanks Suzanna, definitely will book again if we need a buddy for our pup!

Jordan is the BEST!!! We’ve had her care for our girls a handful of times now (9 yr old dog & 1 1/2 yr old cat). They absolutely adore Jordan and are very comfortable with her. This last booking was a last minute decision. Jordan immediately responded and made accommodations even when one of the requested times conflicted with another meeting. She also takes amazing photos! Jordan also went above and beyond while we were away, treated our home like it was her own and voluntarily emptied the vacuum, threw away our garbage bag, and put out the trash can for garbage day so that we didn’t have to worry about anything! Our family loves Jordan and we know yours will too 💜

Stacy has been my first experience with Rover and I could not be any happier. She has been very reliable and always quick to respond to any questions I may have and/or discussions about the visit in general. She provides the best daily photos and I can tell my dog is happy and more than comfortable with Stacy. I have peace of mind knowing Stacy is the one taking care of my dog and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone needing her services.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment.
