About: While I haven’t owned a dog of my own, I have cared for my friends/family’s dogs countless times over the years. I specifically take care of my dad’s chocolate lab (full of energy) & we do great together. She’s still a puppy but I have taught her how to lay down & do paw. (Dad already taught her to sit). I take care of every animal as if they are my own. While it takes responsibility to take care of animals, I have always felt like it was never a hassle with how much I love animals. I currently am a full-time student as well as a part-time employee at ACC. I work on Monday -Thursday from 12:30pm - 5pm. My job allows me to be able to work on school work while at work which is quite lovely so, school doesn’t tend to affect my timing for things. As I said, I care for every animal as if they are my own. When they go out, I go out with them and they never leave my sight. If they need to be fenced in, I can make it happen. When taking care of animals of others, I keep my phone ringer on at all times in case they need to call for any reason. Overall, your animals and I would become besties.

About: I’ve spent my whole life caring for animals. From sugar gliders to snakes, cats to dogs, if it wiggles, waddles, slithers, or snoozes, I love it! I’ll treat your fur baby like family and make sure they get spoiled :) I am very flexible and would love the opportunity to care for your pet. Whether it’s early morning, late evenings, or weekends, I would love to help care for your pet. I would be available to drop in for pet sitting, walks, and cat care. Whether it is multiple times a day or only once, I am very flexible.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs most of my life, never had any of my own but have always been trusted with them from others. I’ve managed giving medicine, and giving consistent walks or play time. I’ll be sure to give your pet lots of scratches, cuddles and TLC. I’m currently a middle school teacher with evenings and weekends available, I would be able to take your dog on long walks and check in after work. I can check in with your dog before and after work to feed, give potty breaks, walk and provide general care or playtime with your dog.
“Ann is a very thoughtful care giver. She took care of my cat like he was one of her own. She even bought more treats and toys! The house was nice and clean and the litter box was perfect. She was making detailed reports everyday and sending tons of pictures that I was proudly showing to all my friends and family. I will book with her again of I need to.”

“Thank you so much for your help last minute! Lynn was quick to respond to my request and updated me since she had never been over to our house before! She even was willing to try and let my other yorkie out which I appreciated.”

“Kinzi is refreshingly professional and dependable. She was thorough during our initial meeting which provided peace of mind while we were gone. Looking forward to hiring her again in the near future!”

About: i have owned dogs all my life and think they are definitely man's best friend. After having not so great experience at kennels, I looked into DogVacay and loved it. I realized that it is a way for pet owners to have the freedom to travel without worrying about their dogs safety and comfort. Since I am retired, I thought it would be something that I could do to supplement my income and also, something that I would enjoy. I have a home with an enclosed yard and a little mixed schnauzer that loves the company of other dogs. I would look after your pets like they are my own, because I know how they become like one of your children. I would play with them and take them on walks in our quiet, safe neighborhood. I am retired, so have lots of time to spend with your pets. Although I love being retired, I need to be busy and spending time with dogs, is something that I enjoy. So it's a win, win situation for everyone. I have a large backyard, with new fence. Your dogs will be safe and free to run a d play. Have one small dog, so your pet will be able to socialize.
“Joel is an amazing sitter. We just met him 2 weeks ago and we had multiple visits for meet and greet and then today he watched the dogs on his own for the first time. Murphy who is normally a nervous nelly, he didn't bark at all at him. Marley loves her cuddles. Joel is calm and super nice around the dogs and we would always book him again.”

About: I have had cats and dogs since I was a kid, but have been taking care of them on my own for over 20 years. I have experience giving dogs medication (either by itself or wrapped in food). I work full time, from about 7am-5pm, but I have the flexibility to work from home/remotely occasionally to ensure your pets get the attention they need! Aside from that, my schedule is completely flexible. I can be available for long-term pre-scheduled appointments or last minute needs. My house has a fenced in backyard and I have a 9-year old black lab & 1-year old Australian Shepherd of my own. My 7 year old daughter loves animals as well and provides unlimited supply of cuddles for any cat and dog!
“She was reliably friendly and genuinely cared for our dogs. Communication was perfect. We’ve never set up drop-in visits before so it was nice to have it go perfectly. We would certainly use Beverly again.”

About: I have worked and shadowed in veterinary clinics/rehabs and pet boarding/daycare facilities, I volunteer sometimes at my local animal shelter, I am currently in college studying kinesiology to do canine rehabilitation, and I also sit and walk my family friends dogs and cats occasionally. I am currently working part-time at a pet boarding/daycare facility called Paws Landing, so I will have plenty of time to dog/cat sit or walk! My shifts for my current job are 5:30am-1:30pm and 1:30pm-9:30pm so it just depends when I work to know when I am available. I chose my own hours at my job so I can totally work around my schedule to fit you in! In client’s homes, I take the time to understand your pet’s needs, behavior cues, and comfort zones. I will make sure to follow every feeding and medication instructions precisely, and make sure there is no changes in behavior or health with your baby. As I said before, I work at a pet boarding facility so I know how to see changes in behavior and health, and I am used to feeding and administering medication to dogs and cats. I will also keep your home nice and clean, just the way I found it.

About: I worked at a kennel for four years and have had a miriade of pets through the years. I really love animals and have three cats, a dog, several fish tanks, and a whole herd of chickens. I'm very calm and patient so at the kennel I often worked with dogs that were timid or elderly. I have a lot of experience taking care of all types of animals, each with their own special needs and requirements, so I'm happy when the parent tells me exactly what they want for their animal. I’m a pet portrait artist so my hours are very flexible. The kids are out for the summer so my schedule is wide open. I have a huge respect for people’s privacy and caring for their pets the way that they would want them to be treated. I love all the creatures.
About: I love animals (probably more than people lol)! I have worked at an animal hospital for two years. Interacted with pets of all shapes and sizes! I grew up with dogs and started pet sitting as a preteen-friends, family, neighbors. I’ve fostered and babysat cats and dogs for long and short stays, including puppies and older cats. I can administer medication. I rescued my dog as a puppy and I have a big interest in dog psychology. I continue to train and work with my dog everyday, as it brings me a lot of joy. I even started a dog training business with my sister and our own podcast (we’re in the early stages!), as we share a love for our four-legged companions! We help coach other owners and touch on topics like dog behavior, holistic health, diet, the vet, dog myths, different training styles, and everything in between! Being around animals makes me so happy! I cherish the time I spend with my dog as he is my favorite companion and I would love the opportunity to get to spend time with your beloved companion(s). :) I work part time so I have time to care for your pet during the day and the days I work I’m not gone for too long! I have a fenced yard and one dog to keep your pet company, if desired. He his crate trained and I can crate your pet if needed as well! I give my dog lots of potty breaks and exercise and play time as well as nap time and training time-keep his mind and body fulfilled and meet his needs:) I plan to do the same with your pet, obviously with their specific needs in mind!
About: My dog name Ollie he is the baby of the house he loves to run, and go for long walks he will NOT play fetch lol. My husband is in the army and I'm at home full time your pet will have somebody to watch him/her full time. I walk Ollie at least 2 times a day one of the walks I try to continuously walk him for 30 minutes to use up some of his energy and keep myself in shape. All breeds are accepted under a 100 pounds. I am Available to walk your dog or baby sit over night. I understand the importance of having someone reliable to watch over your family. My five year old is in kindergarten now, so I have Lots of time in my day. Trying to keep myself busy and active through the week. I have a fence yard with plenty of space indoor and outdoor. The outdoor yard is all fenced in so it’s safe for outdoor play time.
“Serenity is an amazing and kindhearted young woman! She is so fun, energetic and very responsible as well as respectful. She cares for your animals with enthusiasm like they are her own. Seeing how my service dog Hunk interacts with her and is excited to see her is heartwarming. I am incredibly independent but recently found myself disabled on my left side (cannot walk or bend) and in a rush needed some support taking care of my service dog in training Hunk (7 month yellow lab) while I am residing at a skilled nursing facility. Something about Serenity made me trust her enough to book her and I am so glad I did. She is not only a great companion and caregiver to Hunk but is the kind of person I would trust with all my animals. She does have some constraints to her availability due to working on continuing her education and working her other job, but she is able to communicate her availability about 3-4 weeks in advance which was something I really appreciated. She is great at communicating and remembering details that other people have forgotten in the past. I would give her infinite stars if I could and I am certain Hunk feels the same way!”

“Definitely five stars for Meni. She’s a great communicator, prompt, and treated my dog and two kitties with the upmost care. We’ll definitely be using her services again.”

Leander dog parents share their Rover experiences
Jordan is the BEST!!! We’ve had her care for our girls a handful of times now (9 yr old dog & 1 1/2 yr old cat). They absolutely adore Jordan and are very comfortable with her. This last booking was a last minute decision. Jordan immediately responded and made accommodations even when one of the requested times conflicted with another meeting. She also takes amazing photos! Jordan also went above and beyond while we were away, treated our home like it was her own and voluntarily emptied the vacuum, threw away our garbage bag, and put out the trash can for garbage day so that we didn’t have to worry about anything! Our family loves Jordan and we know yours will too 💜

Suzanna was great with our dog. She proactively scheduled a meet and greet to get to know him, his routines, and share a bit about herself. She maintained thorough communication during her visits and was even flexible enough to modify her visit schedule when our travel plans changed a bit.

Stacy has been my first experience with Rover and I could not be any happier. She has been very reliable and always quick to respond to any questions I may have and/or discussions about the visit in general. She provides the best daily photos and I can tell my dog is happy and more than comfortable with Stacy. I have peace of mind knowing Stacy is the one taking care of my dog and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone needing her services.

Beverly has been our go-to dog sitter for the past two years, and we couldn't be happier! She takes wonderful care of our three pups, who absolutely love her and get so excited every time she comes over. She's reliable, affectionate, and truly treats them like her own. We always feel completely at ease leaving them in her hands. Highly recommend—thank you, Beverly, for being such a blessing to our furry family! 🐶❤️ Wes and Lo
