About: I’ve taken care of family and friends pets for as long as I can remember. From walking and feeding to cleaning up after and keeping company, I’ve always been reliable. I’m currently a student in a Dental hygiene program, it’s a lot. I wanted a job I knew I’d enjoy that works with my busy schedule while also helping others and their fur babies! I walk my dog regularly as well as have a fenced in yard and am in close proximity to multiple dog parks! Your dog will always feel welcomed.
“Stacy is so easy to work with and you can tell she loves your pet like it’s her own! Her photos during her visits are top notch and you know your pup is in good hands!”

About: My name is Kennedy, and I have had pets my whole life! I have had several dogs throughout my life, the most recent being a dachshund and a black lab. I have experience with small and large dogs, and love being around both! I currently own a cat, and have become a major cat lover as well. I enjoy looking into enrichment activities for both cats and dogs, and I meet them where they’re at! I work until 3:30 pm M-F, and I am free on the weekends. During the week, I will definitely be able to do drop-ins in the evening/walks. The weekends are usually better for house sitting, but I will take it case by case! When at a clients home, I ensure to properly take care of their pet based on the clients instruction. I make sure that when out, the clients pet is on leash and always being watched.
“Madyson did check-in visits for my cat Gus while I was out of town. She sent pictures and updates of Gus after every check in and asked for clarification on feeding. To me that simple question shows that she really cares. I definitely recommend Madyson and will hire her in the future!”
“I am so grateful to find Sarah! She is someone that I can trust with my pups. She is able to accommodate my schedule, arrives as we discussed, is kind to my babies, and provides good updates. Thank you!”

“Leah provided top notch flexible and affordable care for our three boys. With a changing work schedule and one of us out of town we needed someone who would be willing to look after and spend time with our boys and was ok with changes to the agreeded upon schedule. Leah was caring and responsive throughout the week and made a very turbulent five days run much smoother than expected.”

“Incredibly kind and knowledgeable pet parent who treats your pet like her own. If you are looking for someone you can truly trust with your home and beloved pets look no further. Highly recommended because she cares and it shows.”

“She was so kind and took extra time to ensure her potty break and kept me well informed. I really appreciated her attention to details. Her communication was excellent”

“Karen is my go-to sitter for my cats. She did check-ins twice a day and treated them with so much love and care. I was particularly impressed by the value she provides; her rates are very reasonable, but her level of service is high-end. She was even able to adjust her schedule when I arrived home early. If you want someone you can truly count on, book Karen.”

“I didn't want to leave a review because I didn't want y’all to take her from me and Layla! Lol But no... She's truly amazing, polite, respectable, & responsible. She will love your fur babies like they’re her own! If you need her to do drop-in, house-sit, she does it all and is very trustworthy! 🤍 5 stars, 10/10, definitely recommend, will book again!”

“Melissa was WONDERFUL!!! She was looking in on our two cats while we were gone and always sent pictures and told us what was going on at each visit. It made us feel so much better about leaving them for such a long period of time. Will definitely use her again!!”

“We have booked Kendra for drop-in visits on 3 different occasions. She always does a great job caring for our fur kids and providing thorough updates! We’re glad to have her checking on them again for our upcoming trip.”

“Yung-Chu C. is amazing! Excellent communication and very kind. She helped us establish a new feeding routine to help our picky princess, iO, eat more and was quick to identify iO’s chronic (though dormant) illness that started to flare up. Caught it early enough to avoid a complete course of symptoms. Our cat absolutely adores Yung-Chu C and we feel so grateful to have her as our pet sitter. Thank you so much again Yung-Chu C.”
“The whole family loves Jes, especially our dog. Jes visited our dog three times today while we took a day trip across the state. She wrote meticulous notes about our dog’s behavior at the end of each of visit and took him for a few walks when the weather was cooler. We will hire Jes again next time our dog needs some attention during the day. Thank you, Jes! You’re a true pro who loves animals.”
“Nathan is amazing. He’s thorough and SO communicative. He sent pet pictures and videos the entire time, and even when Diesel was being a little hellion was so patient and even spent some extra time with him to calm him down. Please use him, you won’t regret it. He’s going to be my regular sitter moving forward!!”

“Angela is wonderful! She took amazing care of our elderly cat and sent so many pictures/videos—along with a detailed description of each visit. It gave us peace of mind knowing that Angela was spending extra time with her and showing her affection! Angela is very kind and she was super flexible to our scheduling needs. We highly recommend booking her!”

“We have 3 playful pups who can be a handful, and we are so happy to have found Hilary! The dogs all seem to adore her and she is so good with them. She is reliable, quick to respond, always sends lots of pictures. Greatful and will definitely continue to reach out to Hilary in the future when we need someone to check on the dogs!”

Erika was absolutely wonderful with our 2 cats and because we added an extra day, due to our flight being delayed, she stepped up and continued to take care of them. She Even cleaned the litter boxes a few times! The cats looked forward to seeing her & getting lots of attention! Highly recommend Erika for your pet needs!

Jennifer was great with my 2 senior cats. She asked lots of questions up front to be prepared and kept me updated on how they were doing. One of my cats has accidents and vomits a lot and Jennifer cleaned all the spots so I didn’t return home to a mess. Would definitely trust her to take care of my cats again.

Madyson was awesome!! She treated my anxious little kitty with so much patience and kindness and she ended up warming up to Madyson at the end. Madyson gave super detailed visit summaries and It made me feel so safe leaving my cat with her. She took such good care of her and left all her spaces spotless. Thanks Madyson!!

Mandy was amazing and our pets loved her! She was very communicative and takes her job watching our loved ones very seriously! I loved all of the communication while we were gone and didn’t feel like we had to worry while being on vacation! Will rebook with her for sure!!

We had a great experience with Melaney! She took wonderful care of our three cats, whose ages range from 7 to 19 years old. One of the things we appreciated most was her communication. She sent us updates and pictures during each visit, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. Seeing our cats happy and relaxed made it much easier to enjoy our trip. We came home knowing they had been well cared for, and we’re very grateful for the time and attention she gave them. We wouldn’t hesitate to book Melaney again and would gladly recommend her to anyone looking for a dependable, caring, and communicative pet sitter.
Sarah did a phenomenal job taking care of our Gemma, and Gemma always seemed so happy to see her! 😻 We would definitely recommend Sarah to anyone needing help watching their pets while they’re away. She helped with the feedings, giving cuddles, bringing in the mail/packages, etc. We can’t wait to work with Sarah again in the future!

Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
