“She responded super quickly to a last minute request for walking my two dogs. She was super flexible and communicative, and most of all my dogs really liked her. I'll definitely rebook in the future if she's available.”

About: From dogs, cats, horses, pigs, sheep, and a rabbit, I have great experience in a wide variety of pets since I was 7. I have a special place in my heart for the herding and retriever breeds and am knowledgeable about the varying grooming, diet, and exercise habits across breeds. My goal is to make your pet feel as if you never left! My work from home schedule allows me to work anywhere with an internet connection. I am not currently able to have any pets in my apartment, and I would enjoy an opportunity to borrow your pet while you're away! A pet that sees me as confident will be a pet with less anxiety and concern in your absence. Be assured that your pet will be treated in the same manner and on the same schedule you have set in your home.

“Jennifer was a great cat sitter for our 4 cats. One of them needs a topical ointment on his ear each night so it was nice knowing she could easily do that. She took great care of our cats, was prompt and thorough in her updates and pictures, the cats warmed up quickly to her and even our shyest cat felt comfortable with her. We’ll definitely try and work with Jennifer again. Highly recommend!”

“Brandy did a great job with our pups. She did a good job communicating with me about them. I accidentally left off a visit so I asked if she could go earlier so they wouldn’t wait so long and she was able to do it!”

“Sarah was absolutely AMAZING!! She took such good care of my kitties. She followed all my instructions, was very attentive, cleaned up after them and was never late!! I will DEFINITELY be booking her services again.”

“Rachel did a fantastic job looking after Zuko! She was super commucative throughout and always sent photos of Zuko which I greatly appreciated! Zuko can be a lot of energy and so it was reassuring to have someone like Rachel who knew how to handle him come and care. I'd definitely recommend her :)”

“Tracey was so wonderful to work with. I received tons of pictures and videos through the 9 days she was checked in on. I never once had to worry about my cat. She was played with and loved on, which made me feel so happy to know she was in great hands. My cat can be a couch potato so getting videos of her playing was wonderful to see. I would trust Tracey with any of my pets again and will be the only person I contact the next time I need my fur baby checked in on. Thank you for being so awesome.”

About: I got my first dog when I was 12. His name was Sebastion and he was literally my best friend through some tough middle school years. He lived to the ripe old age of 13 and were always together except in my college years. More recently I have been house sitting and dog-sitting for family members and friends. I can not emphasize enough how much animals are drawn to me. It's like a not-so-super-power, I'm always that guy at the party that gets trapped by the dog or cat on the couch (I say trapped but I love it!). When I’m house-sitting, I’m generally there full-time. I am recovering from sciatica at the moment so I’m not working my other job right now. Which means I will be there almost all the time to give your animals all the pets and play they can handle. I take my clients privacy very seriously. I would never invite anyone else over to your house. I am definitely on the introvert side of the personality scale, so I’m quite happy hanging out reading, binging tv and loving on animals. I sometimes joke that I like animals more than humans. I’ve been with Rover for over two years now and have some of the best metrics and reviews in the area. I’ve never had any major issues or emergencies. But, I’ve done quite a bit of research on dog and animal care and have no doubt that I could spot behavior that isn’t normal and that could be medically relevant. I would love to be your pets’ temporary human while you’re away and their forever sitter! I’m recovering from a back injury at the moment so this is my main gig. So I am available for your pets pretty much full time. I will sometimes head to my house for a few hours in afternoon but rarely more than a few hours. I'm not currently living in residences where I can board pets, landlord won't allow it. When i move, which should be soon, I will offer this service.
About: Hi everyone! I’m Ayanna. I am well-versed with puppy and senior pet care, as I have raised my own dog over 13 years, he passed in 2023. I am cat owner of 2 years as well. I have dog and cat sat for family members and friends over the years, and now Rover clients! I’ve administered medication to pets, walked pets, bathed pets and have learned to work with picky, high energy and nervous pups :) Bonus: I taught my dog a handful of tricks! And I taught my cat how to walk outside with a harness I have an open availability for the summer as a current educational professional who is off work. I am able to do drop ins and walks morning and night. I am compassionate and intuitive and will try to get a sense for your pets needs and deliver. Safety comes first and I will always make sure your pet is secured when on walks and that any fencing is closed if roaming free. I love to give pets lots of attention, with tons of walks, pets and play times. I like to talk to animals and learn how they communicate their wants and needs!

“Geoffrey was great for dropping in to feed and walk my dog, Duke. He was not hesitant to give him lots loving and attention, as well as administer his medicine, despite my dog’s medical issues. He even sent me lots of picture updates. I would recommend him and would book again in the future!”

“Samantha was fantastic. Great communication, booked last minute and Samantha made it as easy as possible. It was comforting while being gone that I knew Alice was in good hands.”

“Juvadee did a fantastic job of taking care of my cat! My cat is skittish and a little shy but when Juvadee met her she did not force my kitty to come out and talked to her in soothing tones and my cat warmed up to her right away! When I was on my trip, Juvadee sent photos and videos of my cat everyday and I could tell my cat was very happy! I didn’t worry about her like I normally do. When I got home everything was cleaned and the way I had left it and she even left a treat puree for my kitty!”

“This is first booking I've ever had using Rover.com and Lulu has been great to work with. She was very responsive and attentive to all the instructions and details. I I love all the beautiful daily pictures she took of my cat Thea. She even helped me water some of my house plants. She kept my house clean and orderly. I am very happy with her service and will definitely book her again the next time we go out of town. Thank you Lulu!”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Jollyville
Sarah was soo great with the boys! They seemed to have really enjoyed her company, and were both very relaxed when we got back home. She was very good about communication, and great with the updates. We really appreciate her help, and will definitely consider her the next time!

We had a wonderful experience with Samantha. She was reliable, communicative, and took great care of our cat while we were away. We especially appreciated her flexibility when our plans changed and she was able to come for an additional day on short notice. She kept us updated, gave us peace of mind, and it was clear that our cat was well cared for and comfortable. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter, and we look forward to working with her again in the future.

Lulu was our first cat sitter and we will always go to her first! She not only made us feel calm that our cat was in good hands but our cat also loved her. She was very communicative, sent tons of updates and photos, and made us feel like we left Nene in the best hands. She is amazing and will be recommending her to everyone!

Destiny allowed us to put our minds at ease while out of town for a bit over a week. She was great with communicating any updates and keeping us in the loop/providing updates. Her care allowed us to just focus on enjoying our trip without worrying about things back at home.

Madison is the BEST. She takes such great care of our senior pets and the younger ones too! I know that when we are gone she will care for them like they are her own. Madison is also flexible which is so wonderful when senior pets like to do their own thing. Thank you again Madison!!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Jollyville. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
