About: Hi everyone! I’m Ayanna. I am well-versed with puppy and senior pet care, as I have raised my own dog over 13 years, he passed in 2023. I am cat owner of 2 years as well. I have dog and cat sat for family members and friends over the years, and now Rover clients! I’ve administered medication to pets, walked pets, bathed pets and have learned to work with picky, high energy and nervous pups :) Bonus: I taught my dog a handful of tricks! And I taught my cat how to walk outside with a harness I have an open availability for the summer as a current educational professional who is off work. I am able to do drop ins and walks morning and night. I am compassionate and intuitive and will try to get a sense for your pets needs and deliver. Safety comes first and I will always make sure your pet is secured when on walks and that any fencing is closed if roaming free. I love to give pets lots of attention, with tons of walks, pets and play times. I like to talk to animals and learn how they communicate their wants and needs!

This year, I turned my lifelong love for canines from dogsitting, dogwalking, dog owning, and dog therapy teamwork into full-blown Dog Training Certification. So, know that is also an offering. And I lightly whisper to any and all dogs I come in contact with. I am also a Certified Yoga and Meditation Teacher, so if calm is what you need, my calm leader energy is at your service. 🙏🏽 I used to own a half-husky named Zephyr who was the light of my world, and my Therapy Dog teammate. Unfortunately I had to let him go at 12.5 years in the summer of '25 as he became suddenly ill. We would walk and hike 2x a day. This directly correlated to why he looked so youthful and possessed such intelligence, because he was exercised. So even if I exercise your dog, I hope you also get to partake in this ritual for the physical and mental well-being of your baby. Not to mention for your bond! I establish my leadership calmly, and then I greet your dog. I like to take them outside for relief / exercise or a walk and upon our return, we top off water and food. If I am allowed, I like sitting with or playing with your dog, and massaging their big joints and paws, so they feel cared for. Then if time permits, I stay in the same room and do some of my own work so they can feel my presence for a good chunk of time before I depart/they are left alone again.

About: I got my first dog when I was 12. His name was Sebastion and he was literally my best friend through some tough middle school years. He lived to the ripe old age of 13 and were always together except in my college years. More recently I have been house sitting and dog-sitting for family members and friends. I can not emphasize enough how much animals are drawn to me. It's like a not-so-super-power, I'm always that guy at the party that gets trapped by the dog or cat on the couch (I say trapped but I love it!). When I’m house-sitting, I’m generally there full-time. I am recovering from sciatica at the moment so I’m not working my other job right now. Which means I will be there almost all the time to give your animals all the pets and play they can handle. I take my clients privacy very seriously. I would never invite anyone else over to your house. I am definitely on the introvert side of the personality scale, so I’m quite happy hanging out reading, binging tv and loving on animals. I sometimes joke that I like animals more than humans. I’ve been with Rover for over two years now and have some of the best metrics and reviews in the area. I’ve never had any major issues or emergencies. But, I’ve done quite a bit of research on dog and animal care and have no doubt that I could spot behavior that isn’t normal and that could be medically relevant. I would love to be your pets’ temporary human while you’re away and their forever sitter! I’m recovering from a back injury at the moment so this is my main gig. So I am available for your pets pretty much full time. I will sometimes head to my house for a few hours in afternoon but rarely more than a few hours. I'm not currently living in residences where I can board pets, landlord won't allow it. When i move, which should be soon, I will offer this service.

“Jennifer has watched my kitty on a number of occasions and has been wonderful every time! My kitty is older, pretty set in his ways and doesn't typically warm up to new people. The fact that he wasn't always pleasant didn't bother her at all and even during visits where if he didn't want to interact with her she would just sit and keep him company for a bit. Her persistence and patience did eventually win him over but I so appreciated her caring of him before that, because I know it would have made other pet sitters hesitate or potentially not give the same level of care. The last time that Jennifer watched him he had recently had a biopsy. In addition to sending me updates on her visit, she kept an eye on his biopsy site, sent me photos, and shared when she thought that it had become more inflamed. With her observations, I was able to call and make a follow-up appointment for him at the vet before I even got home. Her love of animals is clear and I would have a hard time trusting my pets with anyone else.”

About: Having been raised around animals my entire life; dogs, cats, and even horses, I am extremely comfortable being around and caring for your pets! I understand how important good care is from raising my own pets throughout the years, and am a reliable and trustworthy caretaker! As a full-time college student my schedule has been created to support good opportunities for me to manage free time and commitments. Daily walks are already a part of my day to day, and I would love having a walking buddy! Drop-in visits are also very doable, especially on weekends! My own living space is always clean and organized, as well as comforting. It also has the potential to fit whatever the pet needs, and adapt to those needs. About: My first dog was a year old when I was born. He was my protector and best friend. I have rarely been without a dog, and my current BFF is a 3-year-old beagle named Daisy Duke. Daisy is a delight and the source of much entertainment. She loves everything and everyone. We would love to love on your fur babies and care for your home so that you can enjoy your travels with peace of mind. I work from home and have a pretty flexible schedule. As long as you are somewhat flexible and can give me a little notice, I will make sure your babies get the exercise, attention, medications, dinners, and love they deserve when you cannot be there. In our initial meeting, we will discuss any bad habits, allergies, hazards, or other concerns you may have regarding your pet's safety and the security of your home. Safety is of the utmost importance.

About: Hello there! My partner and I just moved to Austin and have been trying to explore every inch of it whenever possible. Growing up in Hawaii I was a volunteer at the local humane society and no kill shelters off and on for many years which ignited my love of dogs.🐺 💗 After college I spent 2 years as a lead for a busy doggy daycare in Seattle, 1 year as a manager of a dog food / grooming boutique in California, 1 year as a dog trainer in Los Angeles and my partner and I have fostered many dogs before they were adopted. I live in a house with a fenced-in yard with my guy, our 9 year old Husky and our 2 year old Beauceron. We like to play and wonder around our neighborhood with our dogs and I'd love it if your pup could join us! I don’t have a full time job at the moment and my partner works from home, so I have lots of time for walks and enriching activities! Our house has a spacious fenced in yard and multiple bedrooms that can be used for guest dogs. We also have an XL crate and baby gates that we utilize to keep the dogs separate for feeding/ sleeping/ breaks/ and anytime a human is not right there to monitor them. Dogs are never left outside alone, and when we need to leave the house we put every dog in their own space with water and a treat and turn on ring cameras inside to monitor them.
