About: Hello there! My partner and I just moved to Austin and have been trying to explore every inch of it whenever possible. Growing up in Hawaii I was a volunteer at the local humane society and no kill shelters off and on for many years which ignited my love of dogs.🐺 💗 After college I spent 2 years as a lead for a busy doggy daycare in Seattle, 1 year as a manager of a dog food / grooming boutique in California, 1 year as a dog trainer in Los Angeles and my partner and I have fostered many dogs before they were adopted. I live in a house with a fenced-in yard with my guy, our 9 year old Husky and our 2 year old Beauceron. We like to play and wonder around our neighborhood with our dogs and I'd love it if your pup could join us! I don’t have a full time job at the moment and my partner works from home, so I have lots of time for walks and enriching activities! Our house has a spacious fenced in yard and multiple bedrooms that can be used for guest dogs. We also have an XL crate and baby gates that we utilize to keep the dogs separate for feeding/ sleeping/ breaks/ and anytime a human is not right there to monitor them. Dogs are never left outside alone, and when we need to leave the house we put every dog in their own space with water and a treat and turn on ring cameras inside to monitor them.

About: I have never gone more than 1 year without pets in my home! I have 15+ years experience with both dogs and cats, with a wide range of breeds. I do exceptionally well with both calm and energetic pets. I am a gym rat and animal lover all in one, so whether they need cuddles or play time, I’m the girl they need! I appreciate how considerate and intentional Amber is with all the animals she cares for. She made sure my girl was introduced slowly and calmly into the house and with the other dogs. She was also very observant, worked with her to understand her behaviors and clearly gave her a lot of attention. She must have played the whole day because the girl was passed out as soon as we got home. This was the best Rover experience I've had to date!
Val and her husband are the best dog sitters we’ve found in Austin! We’ve gone to a few people now, but our dog Nala loves going back to their place and always leaves super happy. Their dog, Eevee, is also very sweet and Nala has the best time with her! We can tell she gets tons of love and attention there. Val’s also very reliable/trustworthy especially if you have specific instructions for your dog like we do - she makes sure she’s understanding everything correctly and we’ve never had any problems with her not doing something! Ashley took our dog waffle last minute and a lot of times I’m pretty nervous to leave him with someone without a meet and greet but she did a really phenomenal job with him.
