Our house has a spacious fenced in yard and multiple bedrooms that can be used for guest dogs. We also have an XL crate and baby gates that we utilize to keep the dogs separate for feeding/ sleeping/ breaks/ and anytime a human is not right there to monitor them. Dogs are never left outside alone, and when we need to leave the house we put every dog in their own space with water and a treat and turn on ring cameras inside to monitor them.

Information Kamara M. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know your dogs energy level, play style, intolerances, boundaries and just any quirks they might have so that I can give them the best experience possible. My husky was a foster brother for many different kinds of dogs so he can adapt well to newcomers. But he gets along best with dogs smaller than him that have a moderate energy level (he’s a gentle giant that loves to play, but also loves nap time). My Beauceron is super high energy and very playful with dogs but isn’t overbearing. All play with other dogs is closely monitored. I can handle dogs with certain behavioral issues but given that our home has a male dog, a female dog and male human, any dogs that stay with us need to be ok with that. I can also administer medication if needed (working at the doggy daycare I’ve given dog’s medication in pill, powder, shot, and nasal form).
A typical day
A typical day starts around 8:30am with a long walk while it’s still cool outside. My dogs and I usually walk to a park about a mile from home and brush up on some training / play fetch until they are tired. Then we walk /jog back take a break and have breakfast. Naps are required after that for proper digestion and a few hours later we play in the backyard (I let the dogs decide what they want to do but I’ll pepper in some fetch, agility, training, scent work, kiddie pool… etc.) and when we get back they get a frozen kong treat / lick mat and another nap. For dogs with more energy we’ll do some cardio like biking or I’ll put some treats in a puzzle game if it’s too hot. Around 7pm everyone goes outside in the yard again or a walk around the neighborhood and then dinner. We do one more potty break in the yard before bedtime around 10pm.

Pet care experience
Hello there! My partner and I just moved to Austin and have been trying to explore every inch of it whenever possible. Growing up in Hawaii I was a volunteer at the local humane society and no kill shelters off and on for many years which ignited my love of dogs.🐺 💗 After college I spent 2 years as a lead for a busy doggy daycare in Seattle, 1 year as a manager of a dog food / grooming boutique in California, 1 year as a dog trainer in Los Angeles and my partner and I have fostered many dogs before they were adopted. I live in a house with a fenced-in yard with my guy, our 9 year old Husky and our 2 year old Beauceron. We like to play and wonder around our neighborhood with our dogs and I'd love it if your pup could join us!
Reviews

Kamara is the best. She is so knowledgeable about dogs and dog behavior. When i leave my pup with her, I know he’s going to have a 10/10 experience. Thank you for enriching and loving my boy!

Always an absolute pleasure, I feel so grateful for Selah to have a second home with Kamara. I know my pup is safe, well cared for, gets lots of play and keeps up with her training. I get photos and detailed updates every day. Of course I'd love to take my pup with me everywhere, but when I can't, I can travel stress free knowing that she's with Kamara and family.

This is one of my pups favorite place to go. My boy isn’t perfect but Kamara helps him be his best self. My boy loves to play with her and her dogs. I trust Kamara to not only give my dog a wonderful time, but help lead him to making the best decisions with his training.

It is always such a pleasure to work with Kamara. My pup feels at home with her and the whole family and she always comes home to me with more skills, enriched and happily exhausted. ❤️
