My schedule is pretty flexible Monday through Friday, and I’m generally available between 7am and 7pm. I can also accommodate the occasional late evening drop-in if needed. I do take weekend bookings, but I recommend scheduling those in advance since I have several regular clients and want to make sure I can give every pet the attention they deserve.

I have a fenced in yard that has already been dog proofed for my own dogs. I have a crate for a very large dog that can be used if needed. Our house is non smoking. Dogs can be on the couch if they have good manners and we have a million dog beds to make sure they are comfortable.

It is important to know your dogs temperament, if they have any quirks or triggers that make them anxious or aggressive. I need to know how your dog is with other dogs. What is your dogs routine and preferences. I prefer to meet dogs in advance to make sure it is a good match and that everyone is comfortable and confident!
A typical day
We love to go on walks in the neighborhood. We have a great series of trails throughout the neighborhood that are shaded. I have a key to my private dog parks and if there aren't other pups there, we will go hang out and explore one of them. We can hang out in the backyard with fetching toys or just sunbathe in the grass while I take care of plants. I am also able to take them on a field trip to places like Turkey Creek, Sniff Spot parks, or other trails around town if you want them to do something more.

If your dog has ever tried to go home with someone else… it could have been me. I am a dog magnet. When I’m out and about, dogs pull their owners over because they already know I am their best friend. 😉 😂 I’m a dog person and I grew up with cats and enjoy them too. Animals have always been in my life. I currently have two dogs of my own and have raised five dogs over the years, so caring for pets has always been a thing for me. I’ve been a pet sitting for years and joined Rover in 2023. Since then I’ve built a group of long-term regular clients who trust me with their pets and homes. This isn’t something I do occasionally - it’s what I do. I take it seriously, I enjoy it, and when I’m with your pet they’re my focus. Dogs and I get along quickly. I haven’t met one that didn’t have a great time with me. I enjoy being outside and walking dogs whether it’s hot, cold, raining, or a perfect Austin day. Safety comes first. I pay attention to the dog in front of me - their age, size, energy, personality, health, and the weather or pavement temperature. A high-energy young dog and a senior pup need different things, so I adjust how we spend our time based on what works best for them. My goal is for pets to feel safe, cared for, and excited to see me. I care for puppies, adult dogs, and senior pets. I have experience with dogs who take medication, have medical needs, are adopted, anxious, or still adjusting to new people. I’m patient and observant and meet pets where they are. I serve the 78750, 78729, 78759, and 78613 areas and can sometimes help in nearby neighborhoods depending on my schedule. A quick Meet & Greet is recommended before a first booking. These are usually under 20 minutes and give us time to talk through your pet’s routine, meet your pet, and make sure the fit feels right. My services include dog walking, drop-ins, house sitting, daycare, and boarding. Boarding and daycare are available for dogs I know well or after a meet and greet where everyone feels comfortable. Enrichment can be part of visits when it fits the pet’s routine. Dog toys, Chuck It and fetch toys, puzzles, and other play items help add engagement and stimulation. Cats are welcome too. Cat wand toys are a favorite, and it’s always fun discovering which toys each cat loves to chase. Some cats want playtime, some prefer quiet company, and some want both. If you have a pet that doesn’t fall into the categories listed here, reach out and tell me about them. I’m open to different types of care. Regular updates and photo check-ins are provided during visits. Many clients end up keeping the photos as some of their favorite pictures of their pets.
