About: I’m a proud dog mama of my rescue pup, Pickle. He is medium chihuahua mix who loves to run around and go on long walks. I work remotely from home as a project manager for an insurance company and look forward to my lunch breaks where I get to spend time with furry (and not furry) friends. I am experienced with pets of all ages, sizes, and breeds and would love to help you take care of your fur babies. I like to take dogs to a dog park or to walk on the trail and have play dates for the dogs as well. I work remotely from home and it is always great to take a break and spend time with dogs and cats in the evenings, mornings or lunch breaks. I have a little backyard and also a friendly dog who loves other dogs, if you would like for your dog to have company. I will be happy to take your dog on a walk in your neighborhood or have a drop visit to spend time and play with your dog as well.
“Elizabeth was wonderful. She sent us pics and videos throughout the day! Ollie looked like he was enjoying himself and came home very tired. Elizabeth also communicates with us very well answering any questions I have etc. we have been very pleased with the care she gives our little Ollie.”

About: I've raised two small dogs from puppyhood. They are aged 1 and 3. Dogs I sit will have access to a fenced in yard and will have my dogs to play with. Pet care fits really naturally into my routine because I work from home. I’m able to do regular potty breaks, walks, meals, and check-ins throughout the day, and I enjoy having pets around as part of my daily routine. I’m also flexible with evenings and weekends. When I’m caring for pets in my home, my goal is to keep their routine consistent and make them feel safe and comfortable. In my home, I have a fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor time, potty breaks, and play. I also have an indoor puppy pen available as a quiet private space if a dog needs time to relax, decompress, or just have their own area. I follow feeding and potty schedules closely, make time for walks and play, and pay attention to each pet’s individual personality and needs. I also like to keep owners updated with photos and messages so they know how their pet is doing.
About: Hi, I’m Guiselle C, and for as long as I can remember, I’ve shared my life with animals. I grew up on a farm where dogs were part of our family, and according to my dad, if I ever went missing, I could usually be found curled up, sleeping on one of our dogs’ bellies. While I don’t have formal certifications in pet care, growing up surrounded by animals has given me a natural understanding of their needs and emotions. To me, a dog is more than just a pet—they’re a loyal companion who speaks to you with their eyes, waits patiently for you, and offers unconditional love. I like cats too, but I have a special connection with dogs, especially puppies, whose warmth and joy can brighten any home. Your furry friend will be in loving hands with me, and I’ll do everything possible to make sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. After dropping my kids off at school, I usually take my dog Luna, a loving golden retriever, out for a walk. In the late afternoon or evening, either my husband or I take her out again. These walks typically last 30 to 45 minutes. I have two children who love playing with our golden, so there’s always activity at home since I’m usually around. Having small children and already a large dog, I’d prefer to care for medium-sized dogs with a friendly temperament toward kids. Luna, our golden retriever, would be thrilled to have someone else to play with in our home and backyard.
“Sinthiana was such a great sitter for our dog she was super sweet and showed us around to where he would be and even kept us updated with pictures which helped us feel better knowing he was having fun with her and the other pups he came back so happy! definitely recommend her when visiting here”

About: I’m a caring and reliable pet sitter with experience looking after both dogs and cats. I grew up helping care for family dogs, including walks, playtime, and giving them lots of affection and attention. I’ve also been around cats since I was young, and currently live with two cats, so I understand their different personalities and how to care for them with patience and respect. Having my own puppy has also helped me build practical experience with routines, basic training, supervision, and the patience that young pets need. I know how important it is for pet owners to feel that their animals are in loving and trustworthy hands, and I always do my best to provide calm, attentive, and affectionate care. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I have a very flexible schedule and can dedicate plenty of time and attention to each pet. I genuinely enjoy being around animals, so walks, playtime, feeding, check-ins, and keeping them company are things I’m happy to build into my day. I’m used to caring for pets consistently at home, including my 3-month-old puppy and two cats, so I understand the importance of routine, supervision, patience, and making pets feel safe and comfortable. Whether a pet needs active play, companionship, or a calmer pace, I’m able to adapt to their needs. I believe pets do best when they feel safe, relaxed, and cared for, so I always focus on creating a calm and loving environment. In my home, I care for my puppy and two cats, and they coexist well, which has taught me a lot about supervision, patience, routine, and respecting each pet’s space and personality. I also have a backyard for safe, supervised outdoor time. In a client’s home, I carefully follow their instructions and respect the pet’s routine so they can feel secure, comfortable, and well cared for.

“Oliver just LOVES Eryn He only needs to go to a sitter a couple times a year. So when he does we’re so glad he feels comfortable right away with Eryn. She was flexible with our schedule and very kind with our little guy. Hopefully if we’re in need again she will be available for us .”

“Rishmitha and her family are the best!! She is very flexible with last minute bookings and change of time which is very needed for our busy schedule. Our golden, Indy, loves playing with Yogi and Rishmitha sends pictures and videos throughout the whole stay. She clearly takes great care of our dog and he loves being there!”

About: I have had cats all my adult life. Sometimes just one but have had up to 4 cats in a space of 5 years. I love cats, I consider mine my babies and will treat yours the same while they spend their time with us. I am very happy to take care of small dogs and any puppies. I have taken care of my families dogs and my friends dogs, they will need to get along with my cats and would like to see you for a meet and greet so I can see how they all do together. I'm home full time, I have 2 cats that love to play. Witcher has an electric litter box but Whiskey has a regular box, I would prefer for you to bring some litter that I can add to the box that I have here that I clean daily. I have different types of toys for them to play with, a tree for them to climb and a short scratcher with a hammock. I have plenty of scratchers, mats, trees and toys. I have a few beds as well. Please feel free to bring your cats favorite things. I like for you to bring a bed/blanket that has the scent of your home so if they can get comfort from them. I give treats to my boys morning, afternoon and night. Sometimes they get catnip in the afternoon instead of treats. Please let me know if you would prefer that your cats not get any nip so I know not to put any out.
“I’m very pleased with Tracey. She boarded Noah for a day on a very short notice and was flexible with the drop off and pick up time. I had forgotten to bring Noah’s food and water bowl but she offered to feed him what she had. She sent many updates and pictures throughout the day. Noah had a great time!”

Jennifer had great communication before, during, and after the stay. I was hesitant because Stella has a lot of puppy energy still, but I felt she was in good hands and well cared for. Jennifer made me feel at ease that Stella was settling in fine. Stella had a great time and slept the entire the car ride home. It was just what she needed!

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
