“Kaitlan did an amazing job taking care of her new "friends". She handled all our dogs expertly, from the big grumpy one to the little feisty one. Everyone got frequent outings and lots of attention. I am very pleased by Kaitlan's frequent communication and photos. All and all she did a great job.”

“Geoffrey was the first Rover to keep my puppy, Storm. He was excellent and provided updates to let me know how their visit was going. I am excited to have Geoffrey take care of Storm again soon!”

“Catherine was so great! It was clear that she cares so much for cats, and she treated ours like her own. She also gave us regular updates and pictures which really helped give us peace of mind while we were gone. Overall, she was just such a kind soul with a great attitude, and we would definitely recommend her!”

About: I grew up with several dogs and cats in the family home. I have raised and trained a Doberman, so I know what it takes to teach them obedience and the importance of consistency. I love animals so much, they bring me so much joy. Fun fact: when I was a little girl I wanted to be a veterinarian. I feel that I have a special connection with animals; they are usually naturally drawn to me. I didn’t pursue a career as a veterinarian because I had other interests. I currently don’t have any animals because I enjoy the flexibility. I would love to take care of your animals and treat them with extra special care. I am currently working part time and would have the time to care for your pet(s) after work or on my days off. I currently work a 2-3 days a week and am available by the afternoons on the days I am working. I typically pet sit in the owners home. I find that is more comfortable for them. I am not currently able to have pets where I live.

“Jere took care of our pups and our house over the 4th of July. This is a stressful weekend for the pups, and she made sure they were calm and safe, and felt loved. The home I came back to was clean, and just the way I left it. 10/10 would use again.”

“Jason was great with my dogs. First time using this service and I have to say he did awesome with my babies. Jason sent me updates and pictures throughout the time he was with them. This is your guy for babysitting!!! I just hope he is still on here for next year when I go back on vacation. Thanks, Jason your service was much appreciated..”

“Brandi is great at communicating and understanding my anxious pups needs. George was so happy and relaxed when we came home from a week long trip. I'm so happy he has such a caring new bestie to stay with him when we're out of town.”

“Jill is always incredible to work with. Cannot recommend her enough. Our power went out during Jill’s visit — she owned the situation and made sure our dog was taken care of while we were away. Thank you so much Jill!”

“This was the second time Alexandra took care of our dogs and cat. Both times she took excellent care of our pets. She provided updates and included pictures. Would book with her again.”

“Jorden was super great and communicative and most importantly had great patience with such a young puppy. Highly recommend and will contact her again for any dog/house sitting needs in the future.”

“Briana has watched our two dogs a few times now and is always so great to them. We have an older dog with some specific needs to stay comfortable and she never bats an eye at taking care of them just the way we ask. Our trips are much easier to plan knowing we can call her for high quality home and animal care. Thanks Bri!”

“Sarah was absolutely amazing with my girls. She provided frequent updates, lots of pictures, and made sure my dogs got lots of play time to wear them out. I highly recommend Sarah to watch your dogs for your next trip, I’ll be booking her again for mine!”

“Angelica was amazing with our 2 pups while we were out of town. She stayed in our home so they could stay in their routine, gave our boy his seizure meds on time, and didn't laugh at us over our over the top feeding routine. When we came home the house was as we left it (if not better). She communicated the entire time, sent pictures, and kept us updated on all the dog news while we were gone. We already have her booked for another trip and hope to use her again and again!”

The median cost per night for house sitting in Brushy Creek is $50
Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Brushy Creek
I can’t wait for my next vacation, but not only to travel, because I don’t have to worry about my pets being in good hands anymore. Nathaniel is incredibly thoughtful and thorough, and he shows his love for animals by the way he interacts. Thank you for all of your help, flexibility, animals skills, and many more. Will be booking again with you in the future!

Brianna and our pup got along so well! Brianna was very kind and our pup got to get release energy with two walks, lots of play with toys and enjoyed cuddles with Brianna. I absolutely recommend Brianna to anyone needing help with dog and home sitting! Thank you for taking care of our pup Brianna!

Ryan was amazing! Our two dogs are super lovey but slow to warm up to new people an he handled them well and had them following him around very quickly. When we got home, while they were of course happy to see us, they did not seem as sad/needy as they have when we have ben out for similar lengths of time (~10days). Ryan is amazing and kept us informed the entire time, even with a 6 hour time difference. Will definitely book again!!

This was the first time Briana housesat for me, and she was great. From the meet and greet alone, I could tell she would do a great job taking care of my pets. She was friendly and really communicative and I felt confident that my animals were being well cared for. I came home to 3 happy animals. Thanks, Briana!
Hillary was absolutely amazing with our pup! Kevin can have some anxiety, especially if his routines change a lot. Hillary kept him on schedule, followed all of our asks and needs for him, sent a ton of updates and pictures, and even cleaned the house before she left! Highly recommend!

Kristina was amazing! She house-sat for me for a week with my 2 dogs and 1 cat. Especially one of my dogs can be a bit of a handful, and I was honestly a little nervous this pup could scare a good dog-sitter away, but Kristina was a rockstar! Took great care of my pets and my home, sent regular updates, and made me feel very at ease while I was away. I came home to 3 very happy pets, and I can’t thank Kristina enough for taking such great care of them!

Alejandra is amazing! She took such great care of our dogs, Leo and Wrigley, while we were on vacation. She sent us lots of photos and videos throughout the day, was always quick to respond, and was incredibly patient—especially with our dog Leo, who struggles with anxiety. They absolutely adored her! She is kind, sweet, responsible, and truly goes above and beyond. We would definitely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy pet sitter. 🐾💛

Adrian did an excellent job taking care of our dogs over the Fourth of July weekend. He was respectful of our home, followed all of our care instructions, and made multiple visits each day to let them out and walk them at appropriate times. We came home to happy, well-cared-for dogs and really appreciated the care and reliability he provided. We would definitely recommend Adrian and would happily book him again!

Nicole was wonderful with our dog, Sora! She was kind, communicative, and kept us updated throughout her stay. It was clear that she genuinely cared for Sora and treated her like her own. She was also very respectful of our home and made the entire experience stress-free. We truly appreciated all of her help and would happily book with her again. Highly recommend Nicole!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Brushy Creek walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Brushy Creek maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Brushy Creek choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
