“Delanie was absolutely fantastic! She kept us updated throughout our entire trip with frequent messages and lots of photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. She also let us know right away when our senior dog wasn’t feeling like herself and kept us informed on how she was doing. It was clear that she genuinely cared about our dogs and treated them like her own. We came home to happy, well-cared-for pups, and we couldn’t be more grateful. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and communicative dog sitter. Thank you so much for taking such great care of our babies!”

“We have two big pups that can be overly friendly during first meetings, but that didn’t phase Amber at all! She seemed extremely comfortable during our meet and greet, which immediately put me at ease. We were so lucky that Amber was available during our trip, and she did a great job of keeping us updated. We look forward to working with Amber again for future trips!”

“Ryan was awesome! He was willing to come out same day for me to watch my dog for an unexpected change of plans, on a holiday weekend too! He took care of my doggo and was respectful and responsive to messages the whole time. I will definitely be rebooking Ryan again in the future.”

“Molly was an amazing sitter! She sent me pics of my babies multiple times a day, kept me updated on their feedings and my dogs meds. Enjoyed having her watch over my babies, and def trust her to do it again in the future :3”

“Chantell is by far my favorite dog sitter I’ve ever had. She is extremely professional, wonderful with my dog Khaleesi, and goes above and beyond with communication (even telling me how much my dog ate for her meals). You would be happy to have her watch your furry friends.”

“Geoff did an amazing job taking care of both of our pit bull mix dogs. He was able to get them to like him and trust in him within minutes and gives multiple updates daily. Our dogs love him! We will definitely choose Geoff again!”

“Briana was great! Easy to communicate with, very friendly and was great with my animals. She was also very respectful of my home. I will definitely be asking her to help us again!”

“Heather was so great to work with, she communicated with us daily sending updates on how our dogs were doing / eating playing as well as sending photos. I would work with Heather again next time we need a sitter.”

“I've never left my 4.5 yr old Basset with anyone other than family... so I was like a new mom on her first night out without her baby when I left Mr Potter to attend a special event with my whole family. Enter Jeré to my circle and to the rescue! She came for a Meet & Greet to meet her and for Mr Potter to get her scent to remember her later. She was just the right person! Sweet, encouraging & reassuring. I hired her for the event night... 7 hours. She sent me photos & "Pupdates" as helped me relax and feel confident so I could enjoy the event. I will use her services AGAIN for certain! Thanks, Jeré, for helping me cut those apron strings.”

“Katie was excellent!! We appreciated her care and attentiveness to our girls. We rested easy knowing she was with them. We would use her again and highly recommend her for overnight stays.”

“Shirley is super kind, caring towards my animals and sent me a lot of photos! The only reason I removed a star was because she did my normal night time routine (which I instructed her was right before bed), but then I got a Ring alert that she left my house at 10pm. I wasn't aware she would be stepping out so late, and because of the lack of communication, I was really worried. I shot her a text and she responded saying she was only briefly popping out, but she was still gone for an hour and didn't get back until after 11pm. Not critical, but as a worried dog / cat mom - it still made me nervous since I had no idea what was going on. Otherwise - her service was good & my animals seemed happy, which was the goal.”

“Carmen was fantastic. We had asked for her help on such quick notice and she even had time to come to a quick meet and greet with us at the house. She sent tons of photos and updates. We will definitely work with Carmen again. Poppy and Mally loved it.”
About: Responsibility, patience, and affection. It's about ensuring the physical and emotional well-being of animals. My dogs and I are happy to care for them. D The same routine as my dogs, going out for a walk in the morning, arriving home to eat, rest, give them treats, and in the afternoon another outing to the park I take care of them as if they were my own with the same love, care and affection that I have for my dogs. Rebecca was amazing with my dog! Luna immediately warmed up when we first met with her and was good with all her care instructions. She took care of her so well and I had no worries while I was away. I came back to a happy dog and clean home. She went above and beyond and I’m so glad my dog’s care was in her hands!

Victoria saved us. We had a last minute trip to Dallas and asked her only a few days out, and she accepted right away. She stayed at our house with Lily, sent tons of photos, and communicated the whole time. Lily was clearly happy and comfortable with her. We've already booked her for our next vacation. Best sitter we've had.

I’m so excited to have found Briana on my first attempt at booking Rover since moving here! I had zero worries or concerns while gone, which was such a relief. She sent consistent photos of our dogs and cat and was easy to reach. I will continue having her watch our animals! 🥰

Ryan was amazing! Our two dogs are super lovey but slow to warm up to new people an he handled them well and had them following him around very quickly. When we got home, while they were of course happy to see us, they did not seem as sad/needy as they have when we have ben out for similar lengths of time (~10days). Ryan is amazing and kept us informed the entire time, even with a 6 hour time difference. Will definitely book again!!

Hillary was absolutely amazing with our pup! Kevin can have some anxiety, especially if his routines change a lot. Hillary kept him on schedule, followed all of our asks and needs for him, sent a ton of updates and pictures, and even cleaned the house before she left! Highly recommend!

Deevie is quite truly the best sitter I’ve ever had! She is SO communicative, sends the cutest photos and videos and left my house spotless. I am incredibly grateful for her and the immaculate care she showed my cats and house. I absolutely recommend her and will look forward to having her sit again in the future! ❤️

Maggie stayed with my 2 dogs at my house for a week while I traveled to Tokyo for a business trip. I have a hard time leaving them and I honestly didnt worry the entire trip and I was able to focus on work because I had full trust in her! She would send daily recaps at the end of every day with photos and videos, and I can tell my dogs love her. She left the house super clean when I returned and left some homemade treats for the dogs. <3 I could tell they miss her because they were waiting by the door all day! Thank you Maggie for taking amazing care of my children!!

Chantell was amazing. Our two boys love her. She consistently updated us on how things were at home and with Oak and WInnie, as well as took amazing photos and videos on a multi-times a day basis. We always looked forward to seeing how they were and got lots of pictures of them playing and cuddling and relaxing. Chantell communicated thoroughly about her schedule so we never worried about a thing and our house was left in spotless condition. We know they received the best possible care and I cannot recommend Chantell highly enough.

Nicole was wonderful with our dog, Sora! She was kind, communicative, and kept us updated throughout her stay. It was clear that she genuinely cared for Sora and treated her like her own. She was also very respectful of our home and made the entire experience stress-free. We truly appreciated all of her help and would happily book with her again. Highly recommend Nicole!

Elisa did a wonderful job watching our 2 dogs who can take some time to warm up to strangers. She was very kind and patient with them. She kept our house organized and communicated well with us so we felt confident with her care while we were out of town. Will definitely have Elisa again!

Leah & Tyler were awesome with both our puppy and house. When we got home, our Sophie was happier than she has ever been with others staying at house. They truly engaged with our pup and showed her so much love. Our dog has separation anxiety, and I can't think of any better people to stay with her. We are so happy to have found the right folks for our Sophie!

Katie was absolutely wonderful! We had an emergency trip we had to make and were unable to guide Katie through our pup’s routine before leaving. Katie went above and beyond in figuring things out with very little guidance and making sure our pup was taken care of and loved. As a veteran and first responder, I can wholeheartedly recommend her for her reliability, trustworthiness, and professionalism.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Round Rock walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Round Rock maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Round Rock choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
