I’m loving, responsible, dependable, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs. I have experience administering medications, including insulin injections, providing wound care, caring for feeding tubes, and managing specialty diets and dietary needs. I’m also comfortable caring for pets recovering from injuries or requiring extra attention. My nursing background has taught me to be observant, compassionate, and calm in stressful situations. I trained my own 6-year-old dog, who is incredibly well-behaved, and my experience on the management team at the Austin Aquarium provided additional hands-on animal care experience. I am able to be flexible, so please let me know what you need and I will always try to accommodate your needs to the best of my ability. I am able to take extended lunches if needed to come by around lunchtime. I would prefer to come to your house, to ensure your pets are the most comfortable while you are away. About: I have been a vet tech for 10 years. I have 3 dogs and 4 cats. I take care of outside cats as well in my neighborhood. Senior pets have a special place in my heart. I am a stay at home mom. My son does go to daycare from 8-3:30pm. He will be with me on occasion when needed, if animal is not kid friendly I will leave him with family if needed. I will spend as much time as needed with babies to senior pets. Big or small. I am able to give oral or injectable medication.

About: I’ve taken care of numerous friends and family members pets (who are members of the family in my opinion) for many years now. This has included drop ins and over night stays. I have always viewed pets as like my children! Not only is this a great side hustle for me, but I have so much fun hanging out with animals. “I'm so happy we've found Chantell. She's great. I had concerns about getting a dog walker from Rover because our Shepard mix can be leash reactive. I was worried about someone else being able to follow his training routine for loose leash walking and good leash manners. At 85 lbs, he is not easy to manage if he's decided to follow his nose to a squirrel or get spooked at a sound or a dog or a trash can. Still, she's able to walk successfully with him and keeps us really well updated about his energy and how their walk has been. It's such a relief to have someone to be able to walk him for the times we're out of town or busy and we can know he's still getting his exercise.”

About: I’ve grown up with animals my entire life. I have a 8 year old American Staffshire terrier and 4 year old Frenchie with IVDD. I was a vet tech assistant when I was in college at the San Marcos animal shelter. We live in a home with a huge fenced backed yard and on a bunch of trails. I work from home and Throughout the day, we tend to walk up to 2-3 miles with the pups. My life revolves around my animals & we would love to watch your fur babies! Im home all day throughout the day, very available and flexible with pick up/drop off times. Very big dog lover whom is already very attentive due to having a IVDD animal and centers her world around her and hopefully your fur babies! We have a house right on the trails of downtown Round Rock near dell and take many walks a day. We have a HUGE fenced in back yard that’s great for animals of all sizes. Tons of exercise and playtime. Also dogs run the household so all animals are allowed on furniture & cared for with love! Animals are FAMILY.
