About: Hello there! I’m Nina Simone and a student from Texas State University on summer break hoping to care for your furry friends! I’m new to the app but not new to the puppy loving game!!! I’ve taken care and have been a dog sitter for the last 7 years now as I’ve had the pleasure of sitting those of my friends and family members of all sizes, ages, and breeds! I have a good deal of flexible availability throughout the week and am joyous to accept last minute requests if necessary! I work another part time job that is accommodating I can crate your dog if needed and have a pretty spacious backyard for them to roam,potty, and play! Will ensure that they are happy and healthy when in my care!!

About: I have 15 years of experience caring for dogs, cats and bunnies. One of my life beliefs is that our pets are a part of our family so we should care for them as such. . I have boarded them, checked up on them in time of need and have experience bathing them. I'd love to meet your furfam! I'm a pediatric speech therapy assistant and crossfit coach. I understand first hand what it’s like to want a home for my fur baby while they’re away from home and I’d like to provide that for other families who want that too. I’d love to get to know your pups! I provide a fun and safe environment for your pup to hang out and relax. I understand firsthand the importance of having someone trustworthy to watch over your fur baby as you go do your daily duties or spend time away from home. We can practice tricks that you've taught them, go on walks and/or simply spend time together.

About: I've had dogs my entire life and recently lost my soul dog of over 15 years, who I cared for through senior arthritis, mobility issues and dementia. Since then, I've continued helping friends and neighbors with petsitting, dog walks and daily care. I truly enjoy getting to know each dog's unique personality and needs. I'm very comfortable with dogs of all sizes, including giant breeds. I regularly care for a 100+ pound Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mix and have expierence with leash work, routines and handling strong or protective dogs calmly and confidently. I also regularly care for a 12 pound Mini Schnauzer, so I'm comfortable adapting to both large and small dogs with different temperaments and energy levels. Growing up around both dogs and horses taught me to pay close attention to animal body lauguage and behavior to build trust. I believe every dog is different and I will always try to make pets feel safe, comfortable and understood while they are in my care. I'm available for walks, drop-ins, sitting and boarding depending on your pet's needs. I work from home so since I am home most of the day I am able to provide frequent potty breaks, attention and companionship. Dogs in my care typically receive morning, afternoon, and evening walks depending on weather and energy levels. I also have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor time and exercise. I genuinely enjoy spending time at home with dogs and on weekends I love taking longer was to nearby trails and outdoor paths. Safety and trust are extremely important to me when caring for pets. Dogs are always kept leashed outside of secure fenced areas, and I pay close attention to each dog's personality, comfort level and body language so I can adjust to their indivdual needs. I strive to create a calm, safe and structured envionment both in my home and in clients' homes, with plenty of supervision, affection and exercise. I also have a friendly, socialized Mini Schnauzer in my home who loves other dogs and is very used to playing with larger breeds.

In a client’s home, I carefully follow their instructions and respect the pet’s routine so they can feel secure, comfortable, and well cared for.

“I am so lucky to have found Sharon. She was kind in setting up a meet and greet. My Princess fell in love with her, and I was confident that I found a walker. I had a total knee replacement, and can't walk my girl, but Sharon stepped right in and gained my trust (and Princess's). That's huge for me. Like many others, my girl is my everything, and I'm not about to simply hand over the leash to just anyone. Princess knows after breakfast that it's almost time to see Sharon for walkies. If I open the door, she will sit, looking through the screen for Sharon's car. Ege will start barking as soon as Sharon's car door opens. It's happy time, too a good wee, a poop or two, and walkies with her new friend, who allows lots of sniffies. I've had to search for walkers before, and got super lucky then, and now with Sharon, it's one of very few things going well. Actually, with Sharon, I say superb. Fantastic. Sharon is great with dogs, and I noticed my girl looks up at her a lot, looking for guidance. She doesn't do that with me. I can say with surety that Princess loves Sharon. We're blessed.”

I've been a pet lover since I was a child and a pet mom for over 16 years. I have cared for all stages of life for my fur babies from kitten/puppyhood to the golden senior years. I currently have 2 dogs of my own and 5 kitties :). I also have 16 years current experience working in a veterinary hospital where I have gained Fear Free Certification and boundless experience with all types of care. My friends and family have relied on me for many years for help caring for their pets and I have many long time clients that continue to request my services. I know how important it is to have someone you trust and will treat your fur babies like family so I strive to do the same with each furry companion I have the pleasure of meeting! I currently work full time but I have Thursdays off every week and am available weekends and weeknights. Depending on travel time, I can usually work around my work schedule during the week as well. I can schedule up to three times a day visits (depending on location) and on my days off I am able to visit longer. I always take a slow friendly approach to each baby I meet and have not had any issues developing a trusting relationship with them and their pet parents!

About: I've had and loved animals my entire life. All my friends ask me how my pets are always so sweet and loving. It's because they give back what you give them.❤ My cat Percy is my best friend and my world! Currently most of my income comes from food delivery which allows me to make my own schedule. I would love for pet care to replace that someday. I have very open availability. My cat wants for nothing. I spoil him with all love, toys, and treats he can handle. When I'm home he barely leaves my side and I love it.
