“Mingming is absolutely fantastic! Bandit had an absolute blast with her and came home so happy and exhausted from all the fun. It’s such a relief to know he was in such great hands. Thank you so much for taking such wonderful care of him!”

“I can’t recommend Becky enough! She took amazing care of my dog while I was away. She is reliable, punctual, communicative, and truly loves animals. She followed all of my instructions perfectly and kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me complete peace of mind. My dog was happy, well cared for, and clearly enjoyed spending time with her. It’s such a relief to have someone I can completely trust with my furry family member. I will definitely book with her again. Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Triton!”

“Kellye was prompt to our meet and greet and took notes on all the codes, building numbers, etc I had to impart on her. She smiled and was very nice to my dog and I. My dog saddled right up to her. Yesterday was her first visit. She communicated in advance bc it was snowing to make sure our plans for Falkor's visit were the same due to the weather. Showed up on time for his visit and quickly replies to my ROVER messages. Def will use again.”

“Our Frenchies love there walk with Samantha. She’s been great and has been flexible to be available when we need her. I’ve even been stopped by regulars on our normal walking route to tell me how to get a job she seems to be doing. Thank you, Samantha!”

“Five stars for Jacqueline! She walks Toby 4 times a week for 1 month now and she brings so much peace of mind. Reading her sweet comments and seeing Toby's pictures makes it feel like I'm on their walk. It’s a wonderful feeling knowing he is so genuinely loved and cared for while I’m away. 🦮🐾”

“Allison was great; she saved me by taking my last-minute request after someone else had canceled and I had to leave town for work last minute. I will continue to use her, as she was so good at communicating with me and sending me pictures of my boy.”

“Hallie has been the biggest blessing for me and my pup! He loves when she comes over and is always so exhausted after their time together. She is quick to respond and goes way above and beyond, I can not recommend her enough 💕”

“Nicolle did a wonderful job with my Remi. He loved his daily walks with her. She was super accommodating to our needs and very communicative. Will definitely book her again in the future if the need arises.”
“Carina was amazing. My puppy had so much fun under her care. She is extremely knowledgeable regarding overexcited dogs and puppies. I will recommend her to everyone!”

About: Hi! I’m Destiny! I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, and I honestly can’t imagine a day without them. My Great Dane, Maka, is my giant baby she's a goofy gentle giant who thinks she is a lap dog. I love spending time with animals, whether that means going for walks, playing outside, or just sitting and giving them love. Every pet has their own little personality, and I really enjoy getting to know what makes them happy. I’ll treat your pets just like my own with patience, care, and lots of cuddles! Please note for house sitting services I require a minimum of 2 nights. I am a college student with a flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time during the day and evenings to care for pets. When I am not in class, I love spending my time walking dogs, playing with pets, or just keeping them company. My home is a safe, cozy place where pets can relax and feel loved. I keep everything clean and pet friendly. Maka is a very friendly Great Dane, and is very friendly around other animals.

“I would highly recommend Joe, he was always on time was very good with my dog. It’s obvious he cared for animals. I would recommend him to anyone Ozzy knew what time Joe was gonna arrive would be waiting at the door. Thanks for everything Joe. It was a pleasure.”

About: I’ve been around dogs since I was a child and am a dog mom to my 6 year old terrier named Princess Cactus Flower. I have also watched friend's and family member's dogs many times. I work from home full time, so I am pretty much always home! I work from home full time and we have a backyard, so I’m able to give your pet the attention they will need during the day, and I will be able to let them outside to use the bathroom whenever they may need it. I love going on walks! I typically walk my own dog three times a day: once in the morning, once around the middle of the day (depending on the weather), and once at night. I can adjust however needed for your pet's schedule. My dog does not typically go on longer walks, but I can take your dog separately if they are used to longer walks! My complex has two dog parks, one small and one big. So they will have opportunities to run around off leash as well. I have a fenced in yard that does have a gate access point. As long as the weather is good your pet can also hang out outside. We do not have any doggy doors but I am able to let your pet out when needed. If I am at your home, it will be a pretty similar experience except I will most likely not have my dog with me as my partner can stay home with our pet. I am flexible and open to following whatever schedule your pet needs!
“We just moved to this neighborhood and with that I needed to find a new dog walker since my old walker couldn't commute all the way here. Victoria was our first dog walker here and I'm happy I booked her! Maverick is a high energy pup and Victoria has two heeler puppies on her own! When I came home to see my puppy he seemed to have enjoyed his walk with her. Will definitely book her again. Amazing communication skills!”

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
