About: I have always had at least one dog in the family since I was a baby. Medium and small dogs mainly, though some large. I do have experience with puppies. Currently not working and am fully available to care for pets, I will be resuming college courses in Spring 2027. I may pick up a part time position during Fall 2026, so availability may change. I am capable of walking dogs, feeding them, and giving them water. Cleaning up any accidents made in my absence, and playing are also in my skill set.
About: If you're looking for a reliable and consistent sitter to follow detailed step by step instructions then I'm the sitter for you! I have about sixteen years of experience with various ages of cats and dogs, specifically chronically ill and picky eaters! I can weigh and measure out food and medication, I can record times and send pictures, I can sing and dance (not well), I can run or walk with your pet, and I can read a room and bring whatever energy your pets needs to the space that day! I'd love to be a part of your pets life! Thanks for reading! I work full time but it's a very flexible remote home job. I can take time to drive short distances and walk your pets on my lunch breaks if needed. N/A- I'd be going to your place. Tidy out your medicine cabinets (just kidding, I promise to respect your privacy and treat your home like the safe space it is for your precious animals!)
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats ever since I was a kid. My family has 2 busy dogs so I know how to take care of your 4-legged family members. Friends and neighbors often ask me to watch their pets. I know it’s difficult to find a quality sitter and I am confident I can provide the care your animal deserves. I’m a homeschool mom so I have a very flexible schedule. I am able to let your pet out multiple times a day, if needed. I would like to meet with you and your dog/cat prior to taking care of them; that way you and your pet can feel more comfortable while you’re away. I will ensure your four legged friend always has fresh water and I will give them lots of attention. I also understand how tempting it is for your lovely family member to want to run out the front door. I am very careful to make sure this doesn’t happen.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for a variety of neighbors and friends for the last 5 years. I have cared for small, medium, and large dogs. The largest dog was around 140 pounds. I have also looked after cats. I work full time Monday-Thursday, so I am mainly looking for opportunities over the weekend. However, I have a flexible work schedule so I can stop by during my lunch break as needed. I have lots of exposure to a variety of animals so I am excited to get to know your pet and make them feel loved while you are away! I love talking to my pets at home, giving them treats, going on walks, and cuddling on the couch.
About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and have cared for dogs, cats, turtles, ferrets, and many other animals. I’m loving, responsible, dependable, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs. I have experience administering medications, including insulin injections, providing wound care, caring for feeding tubes, and managing specialty diets and dietary needs. I’m also comfortable caring for pets recovering from injuries or requiring extra attention. My nursing background has taught me to be observant, compassionate, and calm in stressful situations. I trained my own 6-year-old dog, who is incredibly well-behaved, and my experience on the management team at the Austin Aquarium provided additional hands-on animal care experience. I truly love animals and will treat your pets like my own! 🐾❤️ I am currently working full time job, Tuesday- Saturday from 9am-4pm, off Sundays and Mondays. I am able to be flexible, so please let me know what you need and I will always try to accommodate your needs to the best of my ability. I am able to take extended lunches if needed to come by around lunchtime. I would prefer to come to your house, to ensure your pets are the most comfortable while you are away. I would prefer not to have pets at my home, My Husband has pet allergies. Thank you for understanding ❤️
“Melanie was a perfect dog sitter for my girls! She went above and beyond with their needs such as waking and feeding time. She followed my instructions perfectly and updated me about my dogs being. I appreciate she sent me pictures whenever she could making me feel comfortable knowing I let someone trustworthy into my home to care for my dogs. Will definitely book again and I totally recommend her to anyone who needs someone reliable and caring such as Melanie! 💯”

“Luka had a blast on his walk! Hayden did a great job giving him exercise while I was out at work and made sure to give him breaks in the shade! When I got home, Luka was a happy boy and nice and relaxed! Luka can be a reactive pup toward other dogs and I’m glad I am able to trust Hayden to care for him properly to keep him and other dogs safe! I also loved seeing picture updates from Hayden from their time on the walk! 10/10 will book Hayden again!!!”

I have a very open schedule and can accommodate time frames as necessary. Home majority of the day and can care for your animal as my own! I treat all animals with love and respect as if they are my own. I emphasize professionalism and work ethic to leave both the owner and animal satisfied.

About: My experience includes feeding, walking dogs, playtime, giving plenty of attention and affection, cleaning up after pets, and following their normal routines as closely as possible. I am comfortable caring for both dogs and cats and understand the importance of being patient and allowing pets time to become comfortable with a new person. I do have a busy schedule, but I’m very organized and able to be flexible when needed. When I commit to caring for a pet, I make their needs and routine a priority and plan my schedule accordingly. I’m happy to coordinate with pet parents ahead of time to make sure feeding times, visits, playtime, and other care needs are met consistently. I only accept bookings that I know I can give the proper time, attention, and care they deserve. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to keep their normal routine as consistent as possible so they feel safe and comfortable while their family is away. I carefully follow all instructions for feeding, fresh water, litter box care, playtime, treats, and any other specific needs or preferences. I understand that every cat has a different personality, so I let them set the pace when it comes to interaction. Whether your cat loves cuddles and playtime or prefers some quiet company and personal space, I’ll make sure they receive the attention and care that works best for them. I’m also respectful of my clients’ homes and will make sure everything is kept clean and secure during each visit. I’m happy to provide photos and updates so you can feel confident that your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away. 🐱🐾

About: I’m a life-long caretaker and friend of pets, having grown up with my cat Max (rip) who approximately shared my age and grew into adulthood with my Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd dog, Key, (rip) of whom (in exchange for belly rubs, treats, lots of brushing and daily walks) has been a fine companion and guardian. In addition, my family members and friends have also relied upon me on several occasions to take care of their animals (litter-box changing, walking, feeding, training etc…) including (but not limited to) my sister’s six cats, best friend’s two dogs, and mother’s cats. Most recently I have raised and trained my dog Ronnie James Dio since he was a six-week old puppy into an excellent energetic and loving companion. I’m currently studying online and work entirely on my own schedule and am therefore able to fit pet care freely into my calendar as needed. I currently live with an active but friendly dog and two indoor cats. I can work with an animal’s individual needs and provide exercise multiple times a day, including walks, as well as ensure they take any necessary medications.

About: I’ve grown up around pets my entire life and have a love for all fur babies. I currently own a staffy mix named Charlie, and an orange cat named Drumstick. Most of my experience is around dogs/cats, but I’m happy to earn new experience or just to provide any help for your pets! I currently live in Leander & am a teacher in Georgetown. While I have my own fur babies to care for, I would love to help care for yours when needed too! This can include early morning visits before school on weekdays, popping by during my conference period during the day, or stopping by after school to say hello to your sweet fur friend. My weekends are almost always open for visits too :) A pets safety & happiness is a priority for me. Regardless of overnight watching/a quick walk, I will ensure any/all pets are kept safe and happy in my care.

About: I took care of my grandmas super possessive chihuahua for over 7 years but with time learned how to handle him with caution and love ❤️ I work full time in the mornings and want to make some extra income in the afternoon while also focusing on finishing school. This would be a big help with that if I get some extra hours when I’m available :) I usually check up on my dog throughout the day 3 3-4 times to see if they need food, water or need to go outside to use the bathroom.

“Bianca was very prompt and communicative. She shared photos of Scooter on the walk and of his play time. Scooter loved meeting her! Highly recommend and would definitely use her services again.”

“First time with Saria. Saria arrives with a smile and a greeting for our American PitBull. Libby is 60 lbs of love and charm. She's also an older dog. Saria approaches with confidence but allows Libby the opportunity to get to know her smell. These are positive signals that tell me she understands dogs. That is a very good thing. Libby now has a new best friend. I'm more than pleased with Saria and the highest praise I can give her is my repeat business.”

Hayden has been taking Ellie on weekly walks for the past 4 months and has been absolutely amazing. I always look forward to her Rover cards with Ellie’s adorable pictures and thoughtful recap of her adventures. It’s clear that Hayden is very passionate about animals. Can’t recommend her enough. Thank you Hayden!

Nancy has been walking our pups for a while now and it’s going great. Communications are easy, she’s on time and open to feedback (like making sure our boys don’t sniff every 2 feet instead of walking), and sharing helpful info on the Rover card. Highly recommend!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
