About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember and have been caring for dogs for about 4 years. I've helped family, friends, and neighbors by walking, feeding, playing with, and looking after their pets while they were away. I'm comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes, breeds, and energy levels, and I always take the time to learn each dog's routine and personality. I know every pet is unique, so I follow feeding schedules, exercise routines, medication instructions if needed, and any special requests to help them feel safe and comfortable. My goal is to provide dependable, loving care while keeping you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy peace of mind while you're away. My schedule is open and flexible and I'm able to build my schedule around pet care, which allows me to give your pet plenty of attention and companionship. Whether your dog needs walks, playtime, feeding, or simply someone to keep them company, I'm happy to accommodate their routine. I'll work to maintain your pet's normal schedule as closely as possible and make sure they receive lots of love and attention during every visit or stay. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I'll carefully follow your pet's routine, including feeding, walks, medications (if needed), and any special instructions. I'll provide plenty of attention, keep their environment safe, and send regular updates with photos so you can feel confident they're in good hands.

About: I have been pet sitting and taking care of my own pets since I was 8 years old. I have been the first contact for multiple family, friends, and neighbors when it comes to pet care! I am at the office Monday-Friday from 8-4pm. I would be available for pet boarding on the weekends and would be available for drop in care anytime after work or before work! I have a 3 story town home with lots of room for pets to move around! I also have an unfenced front yard and there are plenty of areas near by to walk dogs.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats ever since I was a kid. My family has 2 busy dogs so I know how to take care of your 4-legged family members. Friends and neighbors often ask me to watch their pets. I know it’s difficult to find a quality sitter and I am confident I can provide the care your animal deserves. I’m a homeschool mom so I have a very flexible schedule. I am able to let your pet out multiple times a day, if needed. I would like to meet with you and your dog/cat prior to taking care of them; that way you and your pet can feel more comfortable while you’re away. I will ensure your four legged friend always has fresh water and I will give them lots of attention. I also understand how tempting it is for your lovely family member to want to run out the front door. I am very careful to make sure this doesn’t happen.

About: Laura has been working in the animal rescue community for 30+ years and is a approved foster for Williamson Country Regional Shelter, Austin Pets Alive, Bastrop Animal Rescue and Austin Dog Rescue. Laura and her husband are the founders of the Zwahlen-Benet Rescue Ranch where we have 3 horses, 2 goats, 2 pigs, 4 cats and 2 dogs. In order to help fund our work with animals, we provide care to other critters! Our passion is animal welfare. Our personal cats and dogs don't do well in boarding + the cost has become egregious and it simply doesn't need to be. Our goal is to make it comfortable for your pups/cats while affordable for their families. Laura does have hospice care experience and can manage medications, injections and tube feeding. Additional fees may apply for medical services. I work from home and travel very rarely so have a lot of flexibility. I love breaking up the day by going to visit critters in the area. I aim to keep them as comfortable as possible in the comfort of their own environment and routine. I work with animals of all types. Just ask!

About: I love taking care of pets and enabling pet owners some Deserved Time Off. DAY CARE I live in a house, with a backward that has plenty space for the dogs to play. I let them out as frequently as they want/need. Since I work from home when I have pets over, they are able to hang out with each other and have a good time. BOARDING During boarding the dogs has access to our fenced backyard every two hours. I can take into walks in the morning and at night, per request. They play around the house together with Ein, my dog, and have access to unlimited water for drinking. I feed them in their own schedule - if your dog is a slow eater I might need to crate them as Ein will eat their food otherwise. Also no worries on bring food bowl or poop bags. Do bring food, treats, bed and any medication/tooth treats. DROP-IN/WALK In both walk and drop in visits, I take specific instructions on what you need to be taken care of. Don't forget me to let me know the specifics and the details on how to get in your place. ABOUT ME I had 2 dogs that has already passed (since teenage years) and a 7yo Corgi named Ein. About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was ten years old and treat each one as if they were my own. I’ve cared for my own dog as well as those of friends and family, and I’ve always loved the energy, loyalty, and affection that dogs bring into our lives. From energetic dogs to seniors needing extra patience and care, I have experience with dogs at every life stage. When my own dog got older, I was the one in my family who took on his daily care, so I understand the special attention senior dogs require. Whether it’s walking, feeding, playtime, or administering medication, I’m attentive, reliable, and committed to making your pet feel safe and loved while you’re away. I know how important peace of mind is when leaving your pet in someone else’s care, so I’ll always provide regular updates and photos to keep you connected. I currently have a lot of free time to take care of your dog. I can work early mornings to around 4 or 5 pm and I can sometimes work even later. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I take the time to get to know each dog’s personality, routine, and any special needs to ensure they feel secure and cared for while you’re away. I always follow your instructions closely and never leave pets unattended during walks or playtime. I’m careful with leashes, gates, and home access to prevent accidents or escapes. I understand how important trust is when someone else is caring for your pet and your home, and I take that responsibility seriously. You can count on me to communicate openly, show up reliably, and treat your pet—and your space—with the same care and respect I would expect for my own.

About: I have 15 years of experience caring for dogs, cats and bunnies. One of my life beliefs is that our pets are a part of our family so we should care for them as such. . I have boarded them, checked up on them in time of need and have experience bathing them. I'd love to meet your furfam! I'm a pediatric speech therapy assistant and crossfit coach. I understand first hand what it’s like to want a home for my fur baby while they’re away from home and I’d like to provide that for other families who want that too. I’d love to get to know your pups! I provide a fun and safe environment for your pup to hang out and relax. I understand firsthand the importance of having someone trustworthy to watch over your fur baby as you go do your daily duties or spend time away from home. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
