“Kellye was prompt to our meet and greet and took notes on all the codes, building numbers, etc I had to impart on her. She smiled and was very nice to my dog and I. My dog saddled right up to her. Yesterday was her first visit. She communicated in advance bc it was snowing to make sure our plans for Falkor's visit were the same due to the weather. Showed up on time for his visit and quickly replies to my ROVER messages. Def will use again.”

About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember and have been caring for dogs for about 4 years. I've helped family, friends, and neighbors by walking, feeding, playing with, and looking after their pets while they were away. I'm comfortable caring for dogs of different sizes, breeds, and energy levels, and I always take the time to learn each dog's routine and personality. I know every pet is unique, so I follow feeding schedules, exercise routines, medication instructions if needed, and any special requests to help them feel safe and comfortable. My goal is to provide dependable, loving care while keeping you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy peace of mind while you're away. My schedule is open and flexible and I'm able to build my schedule around pet care, which allows me to give your pet plenty of attention and companionship. Whether your dog needs walks, playtime, feeding, or simply someone to keep them company, I'm happy to accommodate their routine. I'll work to maintain your pet's normal schedule as closely as possible and make sure they receive lots of love and attention during every visit or stay. Your pet's safety and comfort are my top priorities. I'll carefully follow your pet's routine, including feeding, walks, medications (if needed), and any special instructions. I'll provide plenty of attention, keep their environment safe, and send regular updates with photos so you can feel confident they're in good hands.
“She is absolutely amazing my dog can be very reactive and is definitely selective on her people so it was a huge weight off my shoulders when I found tawnya and my normally nervous dog walked right up to her!”

“Luka had a blast on his walk! Hayden did a great job giving him exercise while I was out at work and made sure to give him breaks in the shade! When I got home, Luka was a happy boy and nice and relaxed! Luka can be a reactive pup toward other dogs and I’m glad I am able to trust Hayden to care for him properly to keep him and other dogs safe! I also loved seeing picture updates from Hayden from their time on the walk! 10/10 will book Hayden again!!!”

About: I have been pet sitting and taking care of my own pets since I was 8 years old. I have been the first contact for multiple family, friends, and neighbors when it comes to pet care! I am at the office Monday-Friday from 8-4pm. I would be available for pet boarding on the weekends and would be available for drop in care anytime after work or before work! I have a 3 story town home with lots of room for pets to move around! I also have an unfenced front yard and there are plenty of areas near by to walk dogs.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats ever since I was a kid. My family has 2 busy dogs so I know how to take care of your 4-legged family members. Friends and neighbors often ask me to watch their pets. I know it’s difficult to find a quality sitter and I am confident I can provide the care your animal deserves. I’m a homeschool mom so I have a very flexible schedule. I am able to let your pet out multiple times a day, if needed. I would like to meet with you and your dog/cat prior to taking care of them; that way you and your pet can feel more comfortable while you’re away. I will ensure your four legged friend always has fresh water and I will give them lots of attention. I also understand how tempting it is for your lovely family member to want to run out the front door. I am very careful to make sure this doesn’t happen.
About: Laura has been working in the animal rescue community for 30+ years and is a approved foster for Williamson Country Regional Shelter, Austin Pets Alive, Bastrop Animal Rescue and Austin Dog Rescue. Laura and her husband are the founders of the Zwahlen-Benet Rescue Ranch where we have 3 horses, 2 goats, 2 pigs, 4 cats and 2 dogs. In order to help fund our work with animals, we provide care to other critters! Our passion is animal welfare. Our personal cats and dogs don't do well in boarding + the cost has become egregious and it simply doesn't need to be. Our goal is to make it comfortable for your pups/cats while affordable for their families. Laura does have hospice care experience and can manage medications, injections and tube feeding. Additional fees may apply for medical services. I work from home and travel very rarely so have a lot of flexibility. I love breaking up the day by going to visit critters in the area. I aim to keep them as comfortable as possible in the comfort of their own environment and routine. I work with animals of all types. Just ask!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
