“Followed instructions smoothly, no issues. She left a detailed report of her care with my girls and it was helpful. Highly recommend her to friends and family in the area.”

About: I have owned 3 dogs over the past 20 years. I have watched, walked, and cared for the dogs, cats, birds, turtles, and reptiles. I have trained my own pets and I’m very comfortable meeting new animals. I’m a part-time remotely working licensed realtor so I’ve been fingerprinted and FBI background checked for your safety and peace of mind. I’m currently working part-time from home, mostly on my computer so I have plenty of time to play, walk, and care for your pets. I will carefully adhere to your pets’ schedule, routine, and instructions to make sure your pet has a safe and happy experience in my care.
“Elle was wonderful for Zoey and kept me up to date on all of her walks while I was away! First time using rover and she put me at ease about it! Thank you Elle, would reccomend.”

“Abigail, thank you so much for making us feel so at-ease on our vacation while you dropped in and walked Winnie. Being able to leave her at home and not in a crate or boarded is something that’s really important to us. Abigail was very punctual, extremely attentive and communicated very well. She sent us lots of pictures and included lots of details on the Rover report card. I will recommend her to all of my friends and we’ll absolutely book with her again for our future trips!”

“Jacqueline is the best! I love getting her pics and updates on my Toby. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a enthusiast walker for their fur baby. 🦮🐾”

I was very nervous going on vacation and we have a Goldendoodle puppy full of energy. I had 2 cancellations prior to reaching out to Darla, so my request was kind of last minute for her. She quickly confirmed and we were all set. Xero adored her! He looked forward to his daily walks and we loved the pictures of him walking. Thank you Darla - we appreciated you!!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
