About: I've cared for dogs since age 18, including three senior pups. Friends and family trust me with pet care, and I love helping dogs. I work Monday thru Friday but I work from home on Monday and Tuesday. I have a one hour lunch Wednesday thru Friday. So I have time to play with pups. I no longer have any dogs of my own, as they have all crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I have a large, unfenced yard with plenty of room to explore. Pups can enjoy free roam of the house or be comfortably crated if needed, depending on their routine and your preferences.
“Victoria did so well with my two dogs. She walked them both and played with them a bit in the yard so my little one didn’t have any accidents in the house. So grateful for someone to enjoy them both as much as I do!”

“Nicolle did a wonderful job with my Remi. He loved his daily walks with her. She was super accommodating to our needs and very communicative. Will definitely book her again in the future if the need arises.”
About: I've had dogs by my side for 20 plus years. I've cared for scared rescues, seniors, puppies, and high energy fosters. I've potty trained dogs and got my 2 doing a series of tricks. I understand the gentle confidence of the alpha helps dogs trust. My two are good with other dogs and have both been boarded with others and had others in our care. I've got a doggie door and fenced yard with squirrels for entertainment. I've got a nice 3 mile nature loop for walks. Dogs...I love them. I'd be glad to put your mind at ease and have yours hang with my pack. I work from home and have ultimate flexibility at the moment so I can walk dogs on your schedule and adapt to your needs. I don't leave the home for more than a couple hours for errands when I'm sitting. If your needs require something different, I am able to be flexible. We have a doggie door here and an ample fenced yard. I also have 2 other small dogs to keep yours company and play along with. I sometime book two families at once. If one of the dog families is a repeat client, and I have confidence the mix will work, your dog may get an extra playmate or two. If you are uncomfortable with that possibility, just let me know so I don't double book. Because I care for many dogs, please be sure your pups are up to date on their flea treatments to ensure we keep the environment comfortable for all who pass through.
About: I have had animals my entire life. Right now, I have a cat and a dog of my own that I adore. I would love your animals as my own, and take the very best care of them. I currently work part-time from 11AM to 7PM, but I would still have a flexible schedule. I am willing to work with you when it comes to times, and I am able to head to your house before or after work! I would do whatever you would prefer when taking care of your animal at your house. I would love to take your dogs on walks and play with them outside!
“Thank you for taking care of my boys. Jessica is a life saver, puppys loved her and miss her already. She fed them, walked them and took care of them as if they were their own!! I am forever grateful for her kindness with the boys”

“Five stars for Jacqueline! She walks Toby 4 times a week for 1 month now and she brings so much peace of mind. Reading her sweet comments and seeing Toby's pictures makes it feel like I'm on their walk. It’s a wonderful feeling knowing he is so genuinely loved and cared for while I’m away. 🦮🐾”

“Tetyana continues to be the only person I want to care for our dog! She is reliable and sends tons of pictures. It is clear she has excellent attention to detail and I’m very grateful for her!”

About: I’ve shared a home with dogs and cats since I can remember. I have been there since they were pups/kittens until end of life. I cannot imagine a home without fur babies! I am currently in between jobs as I am completing grad school. I am available often as long as I have enough notice as I am also a momma of teenage boys! I will care for you baby at your home and will follow your guidance and respect your boundaries while accompanying your fur baby! I don’t shy away from cleaning after them while I am with them!
About: I am a lifelong animal lover. I have owned pets for years and regularly dog sit for friends and family. I have a flexible work from home schedule. I want to raise our son to grow up with kindness, compassion, and respect for animals, so having pets around is something we truly value as a family. I am also a volunteer at Doodle Dandy Rescue and have fostered pets, so I am comfortable caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I know how important it is for pets to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while their owners are away, and I treat every pet like part of our family. You will receive daily updates, photos and videos so you can feel confident that you fur baby is in good hands :) Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, or sticking to their routine, I provide reliable and attentive care in a calm, loving environment. Since I work completely remote, I’m home most of the day and able to give pets plenty of attention, supervision, walks, playtime, and companionship. We like to go on hikes on weekends as a family so I'd love to take the pets as well(with pet owners' permission). Weekday evenings are mostly walks, some backyard play time and wind down. I follow all owner instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medications, crate preferences, and exercise routines. Safety is very important to me, so I keep pets secure during walks, avoid unsafe situations, and make sure they feel comfortable and stress-free at all times. I do have a fenced yard.
“Our Frenchies love there walk with Samantha. She’s been great and has been flexible to be available when we need her. I’ve even been stopped by regulars on our normal walking route to tell me how to get a job she seems to be doing. Thank you, Samantha!”

“Savannah is truly amazing! She is extremely accommodating and communicative. She met all the needs of my dog and even worked on some training with her! I would recommend her to anyone!!”

About: I have dog sitting experience for about 3 years. I have a golden retriever of my own and other family member dogs that I take care of. I love making sure dogs are being well taken care of with the essential care they need. I currently go to Concordia University in North Austin and have classes between 1-3pm. I also play for the basketball team in November so I will be able to check in early morning and in the evening time. In my home I have a great fence backyard so they can freely run around and use the restroom. I also like walking dogs and making sure they get their exercise and use the restroom when needed.
About: I’ve been around dogs and cats since I was a kid. I do have a family pet named Munchie back home. Helped volunteer at the animal shelter during my time when I lived OKC. About: Hi, My name is Becky. I am a former teacher and a life long animal lover. I have been pet sitting and house sitting for friends, family and neighbors since I was 10 years old. I have cared for all types of animals including cats, dogs, lizards, fish, and ferrets. I have walked and bathed dogs, administered oral and intravenous medicine to cats, worked with senior pets, and enjoy giving love and attention to all animals. I am currently working from home and have a flexible schedule to accommodate your needs. I have had pets my entire life and am used to making feeding, cleaning, and playing a part of my day. The way to a pet’s heart is through genuine care. If you are like me, you know that our pets are not animals, they are family members. If there are any special instructions or guidelines to follow while caring for your pet, I will follow any directions to the T. I will care for and play with your pets as if they are my own.
“I'm so happy we've found Chantell. She's great. I had concerns about getting a dog walker from Rover because our Shepard mix can be leash reactive. I was worried about someone else being able to follow his training routine for loose leash walking and good leash manners. At 85 lbs, he is not easy to manage if he's decided to follow his nose to a squirrel or get spooked at a sound or a dog or a trash can. Still, she's able to walk successfully with him and keeps us really well updated about his energy and how their walk has been. It's such a relief to have someone to be able to walk him for the times we're out of town or busy and we can know he's still getting his exercise.”

About: Hi! I’m a caring and dependable pet sitter who loves creating a safe, comfortable environment for your furry family members while you’re away. I have experience caring for family pets during vacations, including looking after their homes while they traveled. I’ve also cared for my former roommate’s two cats when she was away for weekends. Most recently, I completed a 24-hour pet sitting and house sitting assignment in California before relocating to Texas. I believe every pet has their own unique personality and comfort level. I’m patient, respectful of their space, and allow pets to approach me when they’re ready to build trust. I pay close attention to their body language and routines so they feel safe, understood, and cared for. I’ve always had a natural connection with animals. I’ve had multiple dogs choose to seek out quiet moments of connection with me, including making eye contact, staying close by, or leaning against me for comfort. My sister’s dog, for example, often chooses to sit near me and lean against my leg when I visit, even though she says the dog doesn’t normally do that with people. I love taking the time to earn an animal’s trust and let them show me what they need. Whether your pet needs walks, drop-in visits, or overnight care, I’d love the opportunity to provide them with loving and dependable care while you’re away. I work part-time. I can stay at your house if needed. My day job varies but as long as I have a week's notice I can plan accordingly or work it around when I go to and from work. I do not have any pets of my own and therefore will treat your beloved pet as if it were my own. I am not providing any home services. I am only providing care at the client's houses. I have great nails that the animals love for me to scratch their backs with.

Arfa was a lifesaver. She’s a real lover of dogs and cares for them like they are her own. You can trust her inside your home and more importantly with your 4 legged family members. She takes lots of pictures when she’s with your dog and keeps you updated on everything that’s going on. I can’t say enough good things about this young lady. She really gives you that peace of mind that your dog is in good hands and you have nothing to worry about.

Hana is absolutely amazing! She is incredibly caring, responsible, and truly has a genuine love for dogs. The way she cares for Odin and her own dog Bentley is unmatched. You can tell this isn’t just a job for her, it’s something she truly enjoys. She always sends pictures and updates, which gives me so much peace of mind. Every time Odin comes back from a walk with her, he’s so happy and excited it says everything. Odin is my baby, and I don’t trust just anyone with him, but with Hana I feel completely confident. She is fantastic, bar none. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and loving to care for their pet!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
