About: I have been working part time with Rover for several years. I recently had to put my 13-year-old lab down, so I do not currently have any pets. Animals are the brightest part of our world and nothing makes me happier than spending time with doggies and kitties. I currently volunteer for PALS, a program under Meals on Wheels, that provides food for animals in senior homes. I loved to walk my dog and would be more than happy to provide dog walking services to others on the weekends. I work weekdays, but am available after 5 pm and will work Saturdays, and Sundays. I cannot wait to get started and meet all the sweet babies! I currently work weekdays, but can devote time after work and weekends. I can utilize lunch breaks to check on pets and nights and weekends for more one on one time. I own a home with a fenced in yard for my dog. I will do anything and everything to ensure your animal’s safety and happiness.

Jackeline was absolutely the best decision I could’ve made to walk and care for Buddy (Gold Retriever)! She went above and beyond to care for him. At the last minute another Rover canceled and thankfully I found Jackeline. She made our time away so comfortable knowing Buddy had her to look out for him. All the pictures and constant contact made it clear he was in great hands. There was a mix up on time and she helped with no problem. Choose her if you want to be sure you pet is in great hands too, I definitely will in the future.😊

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I adopted my Charlie boy! He has been our family dog for 9 years now and is absolutely spoiled. I now also have a miniature dachshund who is 3 years old and he has now become my whole world as well! I am not working at the moment, so I have all the time to play with your fur babies and be there for them whenever you need me! I will be sending lots of photos of your babies during the activities we are doing throughout the day, and even when they are sleeping (which are some of the cutest pics to get while at work!). I will make sure they are feeling loved and safe while they are with me.

About: I've had pets of various kinds since 4th grade, and I've done lots of dog/cat sitting for neighbors and family. I have trained several dogs, including my little mini schnauzer, and my cousin's livestock guardian dogs. I currently do not have a job, which means I can spend plenty of time with your furry friends! Aside from caring for my own pets, I have a lot of time on my hands. I can feed, bathe, walk and play with your furry friends, I can also do some standard grooming, like brushing and if the dog is comfortable, nail trims.

About: Hi! I love meeting new animals and getting to know their unique personalities. Every pet is different, and I enjoy learning what makes each one feel comfortable, happy, and safe. For the past three years I’ve been actively working on training my own dog, which has helped me learn a lot about patience, communication, and understanding animal behavior. That experience has made me even more passionate about caring for animals and helping them feel supported in new environments. I love helping animals and figuring out what works best for them—whether that’s playtime, a relaxing walk, or just a calm place to rest. My goal is always to make pets feel secure and cared for while their owners are away. My schedule is flexible, which allows me to give pets lots of attention throughout the day. I’m available most weekdays and weekends and can accommodate regular walks, drop-ins, or sitting. I always aim to follow your pet’s normal routine and provide updates during visits. Your pet’s safety and comfort are very important to me. I take time to understand each animal’s routine and personality so they feel secure and relaxed. I use safe handling practices, supervise pets closely, and maintain a calm environment. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.

About: I may be new to Rover, but I’m dedicated to providing safe, loving, and dependable care for every pet I meet. I understand that every animal has its own personality and routine, and I’ll take the time to follow your instructions carefully so your pet feels comfortable and secure while you’re away. I’m patient, attentive, and happy to provide plenty of playtime, walks, cuddles, fresh water, meals, and potty breaks based on your pet’s needs. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry family member is happy and well cared for. My goal is to build trust with both you and your pet by treating them with the same kindness, respect, and attention I’d want for my own. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine because I have a flexible schedule and plenty of availability. This allows me to give pets the attention, exercise, and companionship they need instead of rushing through visits. Whether it’s early morning walks, midday check-ins, and evening care I’m happy to work around your pet’s routine to help them feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I believe every pet deserves to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owner is away. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine and follow all care instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and any special requests. In a client’s home, I treat both their pet and their home with respect by keeping things clean, maintaining the pet’s normal routine, and making sure they receive plenty of attention, affection, and exercise. I also provide regular photo and message updates so owners can feel confident that their pet is happy and well cared for. My goal is to create a calm, positive experience that helps pets feel secure until their family returns.

I am currently an online student so my schedule is very open, I like to utilize my time helping others that have busy schedules or simply need a little extra help. Open communication with pet parents is key, providing regular updates, making sure to know all the requirements/ routines and ensuring peace of mind while you're away are my top priority. About: First thing you need to know before requesting me is I do have a full time job in Austin and work long hours but I do stay in home for overnight care. I love watching and caring for pets but want to make sure they are ok for long periods of time. Now about me, I have had a variety of many pets since I was a child. I was in 4-H for rabbits as a kid. I have been volunteering with dog rescues for over 12 years. I have watched up to 13 dogs in one house at one time. My specialty care is tending to older dogs & dog selective dogs. I have watched several dog rescues home base animals as well. I administrate medications, re-wrap bandaged wounds, change diapers, give eye drops etc. I have watched many dogs with different temperaments and not much will scare me away. I will take your pets to the vet if needed for appointments. I am willing, and love, to watch every kind of animal! I have been petsitting for over 6 years & have a plethora of references. My fiancé & I personally have two dogs, JRT/Beagle mix and a Lab/Pittie mix, retic snake & a ball python snake. I can handle any situation that may arrise while you are away. I water plants, get mail, bring packages in, and most importantly love and care for your pets! I will always send pictures and video updates of your pets aswell! I have also taken a pet cpr/first aid course. I work remotely and can fit drop in visits or of I have access to wifi I can work from your home as well. Weekends are a little more flexible. I always make sure, especially after storms, that the fenced areas are still secure. If using a leash I ensure the collar/harness are secure and wrap the leash around my wrists to prevent the leash falling out of my hands.

About: I had my first dog when I was 5 and up until I was a Junior in highschool when we lost our beloved Burnie. He was my best friend, I would always tell people I was his go-to human we had our daily walks. Since then I have been the family pet sitter which have included plenty of dogs. I am currently a full-time college student but I am free everyday after 4pm. On the weekends I am a little more flexible I just need to know ahead a few days prior if you need services earlier than 4! I do live inside of an apartment but I have space in the back where I can give walks and potty breaks. There are currently no pets inside of my home but your pet is allowed on top of my sofa!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
