“Alex has been amazing with Finn! This is the second time she’s walked him, and both times he’s absolutely loved it. It really helps stimulate him, and I can tell he genuinely enjoys his time with her. You can tell she truly loves dogs, she’s patient, attentive, and caring. I especially appreciate that Finn is getting more comfortable around people other than me, and with Alex he feels safe, happy, and is even learning along the way. Since she’s looking to gain more experience with training, it feels like a perfect match because Finn loves learning new tricks, playing, and exploring, definitely a win-win. I highly recommend Alex to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog walker!”

“Brooke is amazing! She is so good with my pups. They are young and maybe a little wild, but Brooke is so patient with them. I have absolutely no worries when they are with her. I think they may enjoy walking with her even more than me! :) Brooke has been flexible and is very dependable. So glad we found her!”

“We hired Amanda on short nottice to walk our dog. She met us prior and was very friendly! We appreciated the long walks for our pup & could tell she really liked her.”

“Five stars for Jacqueline! She walks Toby 4 times a week for 1 month now and she brings so much peace of mind. Reading her sweet comments and seeing Toby's pictures makes it feel like I'm on their walk. It’s a wonderful feeling knowing he is so genuinely loved and cared for while I’m away. 🦮🐾”

About: Hello, I’m Brad! I cannot wait to spoil and pamper your dog. I am a small business owner who works 100% of the time from my home office. Additionally, my mother, who is retired, is home all day too. Dogs visiting my house will be treated as family members. Home full time, I will be able to provide your dog with the care and attention he deserves while staying with me. Take a look at my photos to check out my home and fully fenced-in yard to see where your dog would be spending his doggy vacation. My home, near Hutto Elementary and Middle Schools, is in a new, quiet neighborhood with plenty of walking trails nearby. My yard is spacious with new grass and a covered patio to provide both sunny and shaded play areas. The price listed is for a 24 hour stay for a dog weighing up to 44 lbs. It would be $35 for a dog weighing 45-94 lbs. Having undergone advanced screening, I have been met face-to-face and my home has been inspected. I look forward to meeting you and your dog(s)!

About: As a dog owner for most of my life, I understand how important it is to trust your pet is in good hands when you're not present. I became a dog sitter to help provide pups with the love and attention they need! I’ve always helped friends out with dog sitting, and it’s been a great experience every time. I’ve owned or dog sat a variety of breeds over my life and am equally comfortable watching over a tiny Yorkie as I am with a 100lb Mastiff. I've worked in the arts industry for many years, but currently work in a regular Mon-Fri office job. I have remote work days combined with in-office. That means that I’m a good fit for dogs that need a little bit more attention or perhaps don’t like to spend too much time alone. Though I’ll be the primary caregiver, my wife likes to help out on occasion, and my 14 year old always enjoys a little playtime! (We do ask that all dogs that come to us be child-friendly.) We currently have one dog of our own: Jasmine, a nine-year-old Blue Heeler mix. Jasmine will lick you to death if allowed! Not only am I a fan of Cesar Milan (aka The Dog Whisperer), I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with him in my previous job capacity doing production management for his touring show. I definitely learned a thing or two from him, and really enjoyed speaking to him at length about how he handles dogs. We’ve incorporated some of his training techniques in our own home and know the value of good training techniques. We are currently based in Hutto. We have very nice neighbors, most of whom are friendly dog owners. It’s relatively quiet and low key for the most part, and, best of all, easily accessible to walking trails or drives to nearby dog parks. Our backyard is medium-sized: large enough for several dogs to run around and play but not so large that you ever lose sight of them. We have a large patio for shade and various rabbits & squirrels for barking at! I've worked in the arts industry for many years, but currently work in a regular Mon-Fri office job. I have remote work days combined with in-office. That means that I’m a good fit for dogs that need a little bit more attention when I'm working from home remotely. I am available both during the week and the weekends, schedule depends on client needs and my rotating work calendar and holidays. We have a fenced backyard for dogs to play in throughout the day & evening. Our crazy, lovable girl Jasmine likes good company to visit for some occasional quality playtime!
About: I work from home, so your furkids get lots of one on one time! Love to walk, engage in play, and good with chill time, attention and comfort. Good with tidying up, praising and sticking to eating schedules. I work remotely for my day job and my schedule is flexible, which allows me to give pets the level of attention they and their families are used to. Clients home only. I am able/willing to stay in the home or visit throughout the day, depending on individual client’s needs. 100% respectful of property and home space.

About: Hiya! I’m Aundie, a fellow pet-parent with two doggos (a Corgi and an Australian Cattle Dog mix). I have been around dogs my whole life and enjoy a pups companion. I am available Thursday afternoon - Sunday for boarding drop-off and offer boarding for the rest of the days not listed. There may be times where I’ll need to step out for a few hours during the day to run errands, but majority of the day will be spent with the pups. I have a fenced backyard for your pup to freely run around in. Inside the house there are different types of doggy beds and two sized crates for when they want to snooze.
“I cannot say enough wonderful things about our dog walker. She has gone far beyond simply taking my puppy out for walks — she has become an essential part of his growth, confidence, and training. From day one, she showed an incredible level of patience, knowledge, and genuine care. Not only does she handle walks with professionalism and consistency, but she has also taken the initiative to work on training during their time together. The progress I’ve seen in my puppy has been remarkable. Behaviors that once felt overwhelming are now improving every single week, and it’s because she puts in the time, attention, and expertise to guide him in the right direction. One of the things I appreciate most is how she empowers me as the owner. She regularly sends thoughtful recommendations, training tips, and resources so I can continue reinforcing good habits at home. It’s clear she truly wants my puppy to succeed, and she supports us both with so much encouragement and insight. Her communication is always excellent — I get updates, photos, and notes that make me feel completely at ease knowing my dog is in the best hands. She treats him with kindness and respect, and he absolutely adores her. If you’re looking for someone who is reliable, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in your dog’s well‑being, I cannot recommend her highly enough. She has made such a positive impact on our lives, and I’m incredibly grateful for the care and dedication she brings.”

About: Mommy of a high energy golden doodle! I’ve been taken care of dogs of every age, from 3 weeks old puppy to 13 years old senior dog. I currently work from home so I will have plenty of time to take care of your baby! I am also available for weekends. Very flexible schedule!! Please message me for any questions. I have a home that has a spacious backyard where your pup will get to potty, spend time playing fetch and enjoy the weather when it’s cooler. The neighorhood is also very quiet and nice for daily walks.
About: I’ve been working with dogs & cats since I was in highschool! I originally was working at a boarding facility back at home for about 2 years. There, I did about all there is to think of! From feeding & medication, to playtimes & baths, you name it! When I graduated & moved for college, I worked at a small pet sitting/walking business! Here, I walked all types of dogs, ranging from hyper puppies to slower senior pups! I even did what were called “field trips”, where I’d drive a dog to a nice trail (since they were often hard to find in Indiana close by) or a dog park for some extra zoomies! Additionally, I did drop in visits similar to rover, where I’d feed, walk, & play with both dogs & cats! I feel like I’ve got good experience with most of what would be needed of me! Since moving to Round Rock this May, I’ve settled in & am eager to get working with animals again! I’m going to be a teacher, so summers I am pretty open until August! Ideally, I like to avoid walking at night, so mornings & daytime is perfect! However I’m flexible if your pup needs their extra walky! I’m interested in walks & drop visits! Overnights as of right now don’t work for me, but if that changes I’ll be sure to update that! We have a fenced in yard, with a corgi & golden retriever at my house! In my house we do daily walks, & let the pups out in the yard as they please. At your home, I aim to do what works best for you & your animals! If frequent potty breaks are needed, I’m able to do that! If your pup is like ours & need to be fed at specific times, I can aim to be as on time as possible as well! I want you to enjoy your time away, without the worry of how your pets doing. Anything to make you & your animal comfortable, just let me know & I’ll do it! (:

- 92% of walkers can help with special care needs

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
