About: Hi there! I have experience house/pet sitting for my colleagues and feel Rover is perfect for me to get to love and care for pets as I no longer have any of my own. I had a Dachshund for 17 years and have an extra soft spot for senior pets. I’ve also fostered in the past! Because I work remotely full time, I’m able to be at your home full time to give pets more companionship, supervision, potty breaks, medications, and consistency throughout the day rather than leaving them alone for long periods. I also understand how important trust and communication are while you’re away so I love sending photo and video updates if owners enjoy them. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, feeding schedule, medications, and any special instructions. I treat every home respectfully and every pet with the same care, patience, and affection I would want for my own.

She did 11 days in a row of drop ins for our two dogs and made sure everything was in order with our house as well, including bringing in our packages! Jerica has checked in on our cat Marzipan every time we’ve been out of town and she has always been so good with her! Marzipan takes time to warm up to people and now she really likes her! Jerica is always thorough in her updates and sends lots of photos so we know she’s well taken care of. Jerica also let us know when Marzipan seemed a little off (because she knew her routine so well!) so that we could make sure to take her to the vet if needed.
