Leaving our Siberian Husky and Alaskan Malamute for an entire week while we were on a cruise was something I was incredibly nervous about. There are two children in the home, so pets who are okay with kids are preferred! Able to give meds or any other tasks for your pet! I am home during the work week and weekend and am available to take care of your pet full time! We do not have a pet of our own right now so your pet will be the only animal present. I have a large back yard that is fenced in and safe. I am able to use a crate if you would like, but it is not necessary for our home. You can make an appointment for between the hours of 8am-6pm. Your appointment window cannot be greater than one hour. If you miss your drop off window by more than 15 minutes, the booking will be cancelled, and no refund given. If you are more than 15 minutes late picking up, you will have to reschedule your pickup time, if that means your pet stays another night, then you will be charged for an additional night plus a $30 inconvenience fee. I’ve also taken care of friends’ and family members’ dogs, including my sister’s dogs. About: My husband and I are long time pet owners of large and small dogs and cats. We don’t have cats now, just 2 dogs. And we are the pet sitters for our families. It’s so much fun, we thought we’d do more. I am a retired physical therapist and worked with seniors in a nursing home environment. That experience was really helpful as our dogs got older over the years. My husband built a ramp for our older dogs to go outside. Our younger dogs enjoy it now! We are looking forward to having your dogs in our home and visiting your dogs and cats during the day! My husband, Larry, and I are retired from our full time jobs. I have a home based ceramic business and am home most of the time, except for Post Office runs. Our days are flexible, hanging out with the dogs, working in the yard and around the house. After supper, we play ball outside before relaxing in the evening. I have 2 friendly dogs to keep your pup company. We have a large fenced back yard to play in. I have a large crate, if needed. My kitchen has 2 half doors and can be closed to give small dogs some privacy. When I was working full time, my dogs had to stay home alone, until I got married, and my husband came home early. They would have loved to have someone come in and take them outside and play with them (and give belly rubs if they want) during the day! My husband and I would love to be that person for your dogs or cats to help them out, and help you out. If a dog came to spend the day with us, they would hang out and play outside with us and relax inside. We are generous with pets and belly rubs, if they want them.

About: I grew up with an amazing Doberman and 3 wonderful Rottweilers so I love big dogs and have lots of experience working with them. My family had 2 cats and my favorite aunt has had many more throughout her lifetime that I always wanted to go play with. I have through the years also had fish, rabbits, and many friends and family who I've help care for their reptiles(turtles, lizards, snakes, birds) in addition to their fur babies. I'm trying to make animal care my full time job while everyone is at school, so I have all day to care for your pets and home during the week. My home has a very nervous shelter rescue dog so I cannot invite new dogs in, but I have house/pet sat for many friends and families through the years and always had happy results. I understand every animal has individual needs and I strive to accommodate that, along with always trying to leave a place as nice as if not better than I found it.

About: Since I was very young I've volunteered at animal shelters as a dog room attendant, walker, play buddy, foster family as well as have assisted in fundraising events for shelters. About: As a dog owner for most of my life, I understand how important it is to trust your pet is in good hands when you're not present. I became a dog sitter to help provide pups with the love and attention they need! I’ve always helped friends out with dog sitting, and it’s been a great experience every time. I’ve owned or dog sat a variety of breeds over my life and am equally comfortable watching over a tiny Yorkie as I am with a 100lb Mastiff. I've worked in the arts industry for many years, but currently work in a regular Mon-Fri office job. I have remote work days combined with in-office. Not only am I a fan of Cesar Milan (aka The Dog Whisperer), I have had the pleasure of meeting and working with him in my previous job capacity doing production management for his touring show. I definitely learned a thing or two from him, and really enjoyed speaking to him at length about how he handles dogs. We have very nice neighbors, most of whom are friendly dog owners. It’s relatively quiet and low key for the most part, and, best of all, easily accessible to walking trails or drives to nearby dog parks. Our backyard is medium-sized: large enough for several dogs to run around and play but not so large that you ever lose sight of them. We have a large patio for shade and various rabbits & squirrels for barking at! I've worked in the arts industry for many years, but currently work in a regular Mon-Fri office job. I have remote work days combined with in-office. That means that I’m a good fit for dogs that need a little bit more attention when I'm working from home remotely. I am available both during the week and the weekends, schedule depends on client needs and my rotating work calendar and holidays. We have a fenced backyard for dogs to play in throughout the day & evening. Our crazy, lovable girl Jasmine likes good company to visit for some occasional quality playtime!
