“Davida is very knowledgeable about dogs and cats!!! She is very attentive and connects well with my pet! So attentive she gets kisses already! She follows directions, guidance, and makes sure to communicate with details to you during and after the visit! I am SO EXCITED she is my dog's walker!”

“First time use of app was a success because of Mingming. I had to do a last minute drop in and she was able to accommodate my schedule. Put me at ease knowing my dogs were taken care of!! Thank you, Rover and Mingming!!”

“Jacqueline did a great job taking care of our cats. She accepted the booking on super short notice. We got great pics. And a few of our cats are usually scared of strangers but took right too her. Highly recommend!!”

“Martha delivered a great Drop-In service for our 2 pups. She was professional thru and thru. Punctual and communicative. Our pups were in very good hands. Thanks Martha.”

“It was wonderful having Anne as the pet sitter for our cat Mau. In spite of Mau being very shy, Anne was able to make her comfortable enough that she would eventually let her pet her.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats ever since I was a kid. My family has 2 busy dogs so I know how to take care of your 4-legged family members. Friends and neighbors often ask me to watch their pets. I know it’s difficult to find a quality sitter and I am confident I can provide the care your animal deserves. I’m a homeschool mom so I have a very flexible schedule. I am able to let your pet out multiple times a day, if needed. I would like to meet with you and your dog/cat prior to taking care of them; that way you and your pet can feel more comfortable while you’re away. I will ensure your four legged friend always has fresh water and I will give them lots of attention. I also understand how tempting it is for your lovely family member to want to run out the front door. I am very careful to make sure this doesn’t happen.
“So thankful for Mina & Anthony for this last minute accommodation. This is my first time hiring someone through Rover and they eased my anxiety and were so kind to my senior German Shepherd as well as my puppy chihuahua mix. I will deff be asking them again for help in the future with my boys!!!”

“My dog was in friendly and capable hands with Kellye! Her visits were punctual and she did everything that I asked of her, including picking up two additional visits on short notice. Kellye immediately connected with my dog, and it’s clear she is an animal lover. Highly recommend!”

“Carina is always amazing at communication and so I'm happy my kitties are starting to come around! Really appreciate Carina's time and attention! Will definitely be re-booking!”

“Joe did a fantastic job caring for our two dogs, one of which distrusts non family members. Joe gained this dog’s trust, thus making us feel more comfortable in leaving our dogs in Joe’s care. Would wholeheartedly recommend Joe to anyone who has a dog who needs time to warm up to people.”

“Marina took excellent care of my shy dog, Lady. She came to meet us beforehand and reassured us that Lady would be in great hands while I was out of town. She was communicative and gave plenty of updates each time she visited Lady. Will definitely book Marina again!”

“Gianna was great with my 3 dogs over Mother’s Day weekend. She came for the initial meet and greet and as I went over the care routine for my babies she took notes on her phone and asked questions. I loved that! She was very communicative, responsive and showed up for the Drop In’s on time. Highly recommend!”

“Jéssica was great! She keeps you informed on what your dog has done and their overall mood with each visit. Jéssica also took pictures which really made me feel at ease! I would recommend her for your next dog visit. Thank you so much Jéssica!”

“Benjamin was extremely professional with me and sweet to my cats. They can be a little picky about who they interact with and shy around new people and he made them comfortable while I was away.”

“Yenah took great care of my cat Juniper, she did 5 30 min drop in visits. She water, fed and kitty littered everyday as asked. I could tell from her photos that Juniper liked her from the cute little face Juniper makes. Thanks again!”

“Allison was amazing! She consistently communicated with me to share how she was caring for our Australian Cattle Dog. She sent pictures, kept us informed about his walks, his feedings, his treats and how often he did his pooping. She was so patient with him, and we came home to a very happy dog! I’ve never used a dog sitter before and I would absolutely call on Allison for future trips. Our dog was so much happier staying at home in a familiar environment rather than staying at a kennel. He would come from from the kennel completely without a voice, indicating he had been barking the whole time we were away. With Allison, when we returned, he was very happy to see us, but he really looked relaxed and not stressed at all. Thank you Allison for being such a great dog whisperer! Mays really seemed to respond to you, and I appreciate that you have Aussies of your own so you know the breed.”

“Becky was absolutely amazing! She took such great care of our cats and gave us total peace of mind while we were away. She didn’t just do the basics she went above and beyond! The updates and photos were so sweet, and it was clear our cats felt comfortable and loved. We came home to happy pets and everything in perfect order. I couldn’t recommend her more!”

“So happy Andrea was able to take care of my dog pack! She was super communicative and worked with me on pricing so I was able to take a much needed vacation. Will definitely be using her again!”

“Bre is communicative and courteous. I felt confident and comfortable meeting her and introducing Winston. Giant Schnauzers are not an easy breed to lead and handle and are distrustful of strangers. Winston loved Bre and the videos she provided during her first visit demonstrated to me that I chose the right person to be with my boy when I am away. Look no further, Bre is your choice.”

Ann is always professional in the care and attention that she provides our animals. We know we’re coming home to happy and healthy pets! Her communication is great & her consistency in care is incredible! We’ll definitely be recommending and using her services again and again!!!

Liz is the greatest !! I have reviewed her like three times already and will keep doing so, because we love her. LOL. She watched our three cats while we were gone for nearly two weeks and I am so grateful to her!! It’s so nice to not have to worry about them while we’re gone. Thank you, Liz!!!!

Having Mina and Antony take care of our babies allows me to feel comfortable leaving them. They are great drop in carers and Dakota enjoys seeing them when they come by. Ernie is even getting friendlier about coming out of hiding when they are there. Thank you so much, Mina and Antony!

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Round Rock. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
