âNicolle is a very great sitter for my 2 boys. I do have to say one of my dogs can be a bit much and it gives me peace of mind knowing she knows how to deal with him. She has gone above and beyond to win him over. Definitely would recommend and Iâm currently keeping the weekly visits activeâ

About: Iâve been around animals my entire life and have cared for dogs, cats, turtles, ferrets, and many other animals. Iâm loving, responsible, dependable, and attentive to each petâs individual needs. I have experience administering medications, including insulin injections, providing wound care, caring for feeding tubes, and managing specialty diets and dietary needs. Iâm also comfortable caring for pets recovering from injuries or requiring extra attention. My nursing background has taught me to be observant, compassionate, and calm in stressful situations. I trained my own 6-year-old dog, who is incredibly well-behaved, and my experience on the management team at the Austin Aquarium provided additional hands-on animal care experience. I truly love animals and will treat your pets like my own! đžâ¤ď¸ I am currently working full time job, Tuesday- Saturday from 9am-4pm, off Sundays and Mondays. I am able to be flexible, so please let me know what you need and I will always try to accommodate your needs to the best of my ability. I am able to take extended lunches if needed to come by around lunchtime. I would prefer to come to your house, to ensure your pets are the most comfortable while you are away. I would prefer not to have pets at my home, My Husband has pet allergies. Thank you for understanding â¤ď¸
About: I have been a vet tech for 10 years. I have 3 dogs and 4 cats. I take care of outside cats as well in my neighborhood. Senior pets have a special place in my heart. I am a stay at home mom. My son does go to daycare from 8-3:30pm. He will be with me on occasion when needed, if animal is not kid friendly I will leave him with family if needed. I will spend as much time as needed with babies to senior pets. Big or small. I am able to give oral or injectable medication.
âAnn was great! She came during all the days we needed, fed, and played with our dogs and gave them lots of love and play time! We would definitely recommend her and will be booking with her again!â

âWe've worked Allison a few times now and will definitely continue to keep requesting her whenever we need pet sitting services for our cat! She's very responsive, communicative, and best of all sends plenty of pictures and videos. Its the best feeling when you're away from home to see lots of updates about your pet and know they're well taken care of.â

âThis was my first experience with Rover. I had just heard of the app. Julie was so easy to schedule and she asked me things I hadnât thought of, like would I like pictures of my dogs from the visits. I learned that I smile when I see pictures of my dogs being happy. I added a walk to the services and Julie was able to accommodate that, easily. My dogs were so happy to see me when I got home and they looked great. Iâm very pleased with how easy Julie made the whole process. Iâm looking forward to using her again.â

âTracey took good care of my dog while I was away. She played with some favorite toys with her and took her on walks. She fed her and gave her her supplements/meds per my instructions. I appreciated the photos for each visit. This was my first time to leave her overnight at home and I felt comfortable with Tracey taking care of her. My dog was doing great when I got home and I know she enjoyed all the extra attention.â

âJoe did a fantastic job caring for our two dogs, one of which distrusts non family members. Joe gained this dogâs trust, thus making us feel more comfortable in leaving our dogs in Joeâs care. Would wholeheartedly recommend Joe to anyone who has a dog who needs time to warm up to people.â

âUsed Jacqueline for my wedding day to drop in and check on my dogs and she was amazing! They were all tired out and also had her company. Would definitely recommend her and use her again.â

âCarina was incredible to our two high need dogs! She took care of them for several days and was great at communicating with us, even helping with solutions when one of them got sick. We would absolutely hire her again!â

Highly recommend Samantha!â

âMyo (Seth) was so consistent and took such great care of are pets. So happy with the service and all the great updates he gave. Really worked out great and pets are safe and very happy. We will definitely use Seth again. My dog and cat responded really well to him right away. He came to my home on time everyday and consistently gave us a photo showing how each pet was doing. Put us ( my kids ) at ease so we could enjoy our vacation. Definitely recommend using him to care for your pets. He obviously loves caring for animals. .â

âMina was so kind and helpful while we were away! She provided us with updates and plenty of photos of our pups while they were in her care. Highly recommend!â
âFirst time use of app was a success because of Mingming. I had to do a last minute drop in and she was able to accommodate my schedule. Put me at ease knowing my dogs were taken care of!! Thank you, Rover and Mingming!!â

About: I have always had a deep affection for animals, having spent over two years working in a pet store. I have extensive knowledge of dogs and other animals of all kinds. Since I'm still in high school and would like a little part time after-job involving taking care of others pets, it fits in with my Daily Week. At home, I have three dogs and a lizard. I adore animals and will treat them with the utmost care, just like I would if they were my own.

Jeremy was exceptional!! âŚwith me & my pets :) I was nervous using this service for the first time, and he did a tremendous job putting me (and my 3 pets) all at ease. He sent updates & pics regularly - It felt wonderful knowing they were so well taken care of for my 5 days away! Thank you, Jeremy!

This was our second time using Carina to care for our fur babies as we went on a vacation. She is punctual, communicative and kind. The daily photo uploads are also a nice touch. We highly recommend Carina for anyone needing drop-in pet visits that wants to ensure their animals get attention and kindness on your absence.

Bre is simply the best ever. Our pups love her! They are more relaxed than ever when we return if they have hung out with Aunt Bre while we are away. An added touch are the amazingly entertaining updates we get throughout the day. We loved her. Our pups adore her.

Alice was wonderful! Penelope really seemed to warm up to her, and we felt she was well cared for while we were away. Alice kept us updated with great photos, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. She also kindly watered our plants and garden at our request, and thanks to her help everything is still thriving despite the Texas heat. We would absolutely recommend Alice to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter, and we plan to book with her again for our next trip if sheâs available!

We've used this sitter for several drop-in visits with our dog Cash, and every experience has been great. They're punctual, communicate clearly, and always send photo/video updates so we know exactly how Cash is doing while we're out. You can tell they really care â Cash is always relaxed and happy in the pictures, which gives us huge peace of mind. It's reassuring to have someone this trustworthy and attentive looking after him. Would book again without hesitation!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
