“My dog was in friendly and capable hands with Kellye! Her visits were punctual and she did everything that I asked of her, including picking up two additional visits on short notice. Kellye immediately connected with my dog, and it’s clear she is an animal lover. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats ever since I was a kid. My family has 2 busy dogs so I know how to take care of your 4-legged family members. Friends and neighbors often ask me to watch their pets. I know it’s difficult to find a quality sitter and I am confident I can provide the care your animal deserves. I’m a homeschool mom so I have a very flexible schedule. I am able to let your pet out multiple times a day, if needed. I would like to meet with you and your dog/cat prior to taking care of them; that way you and your pet can feel more comfortable while you’re away. I will ensure your four legged friend always has fresh water and I will give them lots of attention. I also understand how tempting it is for your lovely family member to want to run out the front door. I am very careful to make sure this doesn’t happen.
“My senior kitty loves Marissa! She's very reliable & communicative so I know he's in good hands when I'm away. 1000% refer her to anyone who wants to be sure their pet is in capable & loving hands when away. Thx Marissa!”

“Jacqueline did a great job taking care of our cats. She accepted the booking on super short notice. We got great pics. And a few of our cats are usually scared of strangers but took right too her. Highly recommend!!”

About: I grew up in a family of dog lovers. I was taught the importance of caring for something other than myself at a young age and naturally adore and love all animals especially dogs. My 1st dog growing up was a German Shepherd named Rex, then and a teen a Golden Retriever named Bruno and once I got to my sophomore year of college, I provided boarding for my sisters then 2 year old dog Sage for a year while she was out of the city for school. In my Junior year of college I got my dog Summer a Papillon/mix at 1 month old and is the sweetest little thing now 7 yrs old. My senior year in 2019 I got my dog Vegas who is a Doxin/pit mix and she is a sweet heart as well, now 6 years old. I have prior experience dog sitting for an old friend and for other family members because being around other dogs also feels like a slice of heaven to me! I have also owned cats/kittens in the past but I am much more knowledgeable with dogs and pups💗 I can be flexible on weekends with my hours of availability. I am happy to work with you and do my best to accommodate for the time you need I love caring for dogs as if they were my own. I always like to make sure there is a clean and fresh water bowl at all times (unless you state otherwise) , I use my phone alarm to ensure the dogs are fed on time and with your permission I am happy to give them treats! Cuddles and pets are a no brainer, your dog/dogs will be well cared for and treated with lots of love by me! 💗
“Lizy is great! She is super reliable, really enjoys dogs, and has been able to help us with last-minute scheduling requests for drop-in visits. Highly recommend working with her!”

“Martha delivered a great Drop-In service for our 2 pups. She was professional thru and thru. Punctual and communicative. Our pups were in very good hands. Thanks Martha.”

“Joe did a fantastic job caring for our two dogs, one of which distrusts non family members. Joe gained this dog’s trust, thus making us feel more comfortable in leaving our dogs in Joe’s care. Would wholeheartedly recommend Joe to anyone who has a dog who needs time to warm up to people.”

About: I have been a vet tech for 10 years. I have 3 dogs and 4 cats. I take care of outside cats as well in my neighborhood. Senior pets have a special place in my heart. I am a stay at home mom. My son does go to daycare from 8-3:30pm. He will be with me on occasion when needed, if animal is not kid friendly I will leave him with family if needed. I will spend as much time as needed with babies to senior pets. Big or small. I am able to give oral or injectable medication.
“Davida always goes above and beyond making sure my little animals are comfortable, safe and happy when I’m away. Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Round Rock
I had a wonderful experience with Jax! She did drop-in visits for my dog, made sure he was fed and well cared for, and kept me updated with plenty of great pictures and videos, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. She even went above and beyond by bringing in packages that had been left at my front door. Her communication was excellent throughout the entire booking, and I always felt like my home and my dog were in trustworthy hands. I would absolutely book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable, caring, and professional!

If she’s available- BOOK her. there is a reason she has so many outstanding 5 star reviews. she’s earned it! she’s an animal lover and you will notice how comfortable your pet is with her right away. Carina goes out of her way to go above and beyond with her care. 5/5.

We've used this sitter for several drop-in visits with our dog Cash, and every experience has been great. They're punctual, communicate clearly, and always send photo/video updates so we know exactly how Cash is doing while we're out. You can tell they really care — Cash is always relaxed and happy in the pictures, which gives us huge peace of mind. It's reassuring to have someone this trustworthy and attentive looking after him. Would book again without hesitation!

Liz is the greatest !! I have reviewed her like three times already and will keep doing so, because we love her. LOL. She watched our three cats while we were gone for nearly two weeks and I am so grateful to her!! It’s so nice to not have to worry about them while we’re gone. Thank you, Liz!!!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
