About: I grew up in a family of dog lovers. I was taught the importance of caring for something other than myself at a young age and naturally adore and love all animals especially dogs. My 1st dog growing up was a German Shepherd named Rex, then and a teen a Golden Retriever named Bruno and once I got to my sophomore year of college, I provided boarding for my sisters then 2 year old dog Sage for a year while she was out of the city for school. In my Junior year of college I got my dog Summer a Papillon/mix at 1 month old and is the sweetest little thing now 7 yrs old. My senior year in 2019 I got my dog Vegas who is a Doxin/pit mix and she is a sweet heart as well, now 6 years old. I have prior experience dog sitting for an old friend and for other family members because being around other dogs also feels like a slice of heaven to me! I have also owned cats/kittens in the past but I am much more knowledgeable with dogs and pups💗 I can be flexible on weekends with my hours of availability. This is just a general outline of my open availability. Saturday: 7am-9pm CST Sundays: 7am-9pm CST I love caring for dogs as if they were my own. I always like to make sure there is a clean and fresh water bowl at all times (unless you state otherwise) , I use my phone alarm to ensure the dogs are fed on time and with your permission I am happy to give them treats! Cuddles and pets are a no brainer, your dog/dogs will be well cared for and treated with lots of love by me! 💗

About: I've had dogs my entire life and recently lost my soul dog of over 15 years, who I cared for through senior arthritis, mobility issues and dementia. Since then, I've continued helping friends and neighbors with petsitting, dog walks and daily care. I truly enjoy getting to know each dog's unique personality and needs. I'm very comfortable with dogs of all sizes, including giant breeds. I regularly care for a 100+ pound Great Pyrenees/Golden Retriever mix and have expierence with leash work, routines and handling strong or protective dogs calmly and confidently. I also regularly care for a 12 pound Mini Schnauzer, so I'm comfortable adapting to both large and small dogs with different temperaments and energy levels. Growing up around both dogs and horses taught me to pay close attention to animal body lauguage and behavior to build trust. I believe every dog is different and I will always try to make pets feel safe, comfortable and understood while they are in my care. I'm available for walks, drop-ins, sitting and boarding depending on your pet's needs. I work from home so since I am home most of the day I am able to provide frequent potty breaks, attention and companionship. Dogs in my care typically receive morning, afternoon, and evening walks depending on weather and energy levels. I also have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor time and exercise. I genuinely enjoy spending time at home with dogs and on weekends I love taking longer was to nearby trails and outdoor paths. Safety and trust are extremely important to me when caring for pets. Dogs are always kept leashed outside of secure fenced areas, and I pay close attention to each dog's personality, comfort level and body language so I can adjust to their indivdual needs. I strive to create a calm, safe and structured envionment both in my home and in clients' homes, with plenty of supervision, affection and exercise. I also have a friendly, socialized Mini Schnauzer in my home who loves other dogs and is very used to playing with larger breeds.

Davida saved me! Needed a last minute sitter and she came through! Our Lady is quite elusive and she finally came around to some degree the last day! Davida did a great job taking care of Lady and even did a little extra as we are having a house showing and Lady's "condo" needed to be moved out of the way. Davida is kind and caring.
