“Heather is cheerful of spirit and our dogs totally pick up on that and really enjoy her coming to visit. She takes great pride in caring for our pups... Highly recommended.”

“Abigail is always prompt, professional and great with our dogs. I cannot say enough good things about her. We had her do two drop in visits while we were dog sitting for my mother in laws dog (who can be high needs) and she was so wonderful with them all. They seem at ease with her. She followed our directions perfectly and even cleaned up a mess my knucklehead husky left. We’ve had other dog sitters but none seem to put in the level of care that Abigail does.”
About: I have been providing loving and affordable pet sitting for family and friends since I was 18. I understand wanting a peace of mind when it comes to your pets and I enjoy being able to give people the freedom to enjoy their time away from home knowing their pets are taken care of. My schedule is usually pretty flexible so please feel free to reach out and we can discuss the best option for your needs. The initial meeting with you and your pets are, in my opinion, one of the most important interactions to ensure a comfortable and successful experience. With that said, I can’t wait to meet y’all! I have a full time job Monday through Friday but I’m able to provide care around that schedule. Saturday and Sunday are my fully open days and I only work until 11 AM on Fridays. I care for pets the same way their owners would care for them. I think consistency is very important in keeping pets comfortable while their family is away.
“Ann took such good care of our kittens! She provided so much peace of mind for us while we were away from them. Ann went above and beyond to provide loving care for our cats. We would definitely recommend her!”

“My dog Rosie does not warm up to people easily and she can be very particular about meeting strangers. Rosie warmed up to Kellie very quickly and I felt so much relief knowing Rosie felt safe and secure with her right away. I can tell from the photos Kellie sends how happy Rosie is during their drop ins. I will be going to Kellie anytime I need a sitter!”

“Allison was great at watching our 2 dogs and 2 cats! She kept in contact and sent lots of pictures and videos. We are fostering a shy doggo and Allison was so patient and kind with her! Thank you again!”

“So thankful to have found Ryan. He is very professional, has a very calm demeanor and came to the Meet-and-Greet ready to make friends with Wallace, treats in hand. He was very communicative, sent updates and photos, and executed all of Wallace’s needs without hesitation. We would definitely book with Ryan again!”

“Mell was a rockstar! This was my first time leaving my baby and after meeting her before my trip- I definitely felt way less anxious about leaving. She went above and behind and gave great updates. Definitely would book again!!!”

“Darla is my go to for cat sitting! She responds quickly, sends great updates, communications frequently, and goes above and beyond to make sure I have peace of mind while traveling.”

“Brittny was absolutely amazing. It was our first time using Rover,, but was in a pinch due to a medical emergency leaving us in a bind before Christmas. She is an excellent communicator, my pups absolutely loved her and she left us at ease to enjoy our trip. We couldn’t stand the thought of our pups staying anywhere other than their home. Will definitely be working with her again!”

“Thank you for the love you showed our dogs while we were away. The pictures you sent gave me comfort as I could see how well taken care of they were. We appreciate you!”

“Alex was wonderful! Very professional and communicative. She handled all of our cats needs, and even got the reclusive one who hides from everyone to play with her! We will definitely hire Alex again to watch our kitties.”
“Errin is the best sitter ever. We had an unexpected family matter we had to travel for and Errin fit us into her schedule on short notice. She takes such great care of all our kitties and I love getting the cute pictures. Thank you again Errin for the peace of mind you give us when we travel.”

“Van Gogh is happy and healthy upon my return as always. Thanks to Lynn and Mark for taking great care of my boy and for being flexible and communicative! I would recommend them to anyone!”

“Samantha! Was fantastic with our two puppies and our bearded dragon while we were away for two weeks. She really put any anxiety we had at ease while we were away by sending photos and videos of them daily and consistent communication daily. We will definitely have her back to watch our fur babies. Highly recommend Samantha!”

“Carina is always amazing at communication and so I'm happy my kitties are starting to come around! Really appreciate Carina's time and attention! Will definitely be re-booking!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Georgetown
Heather is so responsible and a great sitter. She takes care of each pet, and even notified us that she had seen our missing kitty, who made an appearance during our brief absence, but did not come in. We were able to bring him back in when we returned home. We're very appreciative of Heather's care!
Michaela was amazing with our two doggos! I needed her to come over and meet my Murphy, in particular, before she was scheduled for drop ins just to introduce and make sure she wasn't a stranger. Michaela was very communicative and thorough in her questions about the dogs and Murphy took a liking to her immediately. I had Michaela come by twice while we were out of town on a day trip and she was prompt and very communicative. I will be sure to use Michaela again!

Kira did an absolutely, fantastic job. Showed up for the 10 visits on time, everytime. Sent photos of my dogs each and every visit. I trusted her in my home and she proved herself to be trustworthy. I am so completely satisfied and will inquire her services again in the future. I recommend Miss Kira to anyone looking for a great pet sitter. Thank you, Kira.

Abigail is an excellent sitter and a true pet lover! I was in a bit of a time crunch, and she confirmed her availability quickly, which I really appreciated. Her communication was great, and I had complete peace of mind while I was away knowing my cat was in such good hands. Highly recommended

Alicia was amazing with Charlie, especially while he was dealing with medical issues during my trip. She kept me updated, monitored him closely, and handled everything with so much care and calm. It gave me real peace of mind knowing he was in such capable hands. I’m incredibly grateful and would absolutely book her again.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
