“Marissa did an amazing job. My dog has a lot of anxiety with new people but Marissa went above and beyond to make sure my dog was comfortable and felt safe with her. Marissa was very communicative. I highly recommend her!”

“Jacqueline took great care of my pups! She was consistently on time for pop-ins, sent thorough updates, and and I returned home to a place cleaner than I left it. My doggos are happy, so I am happy. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve grown up around a variety of animal and started taking care of cats, dogs, surgar gliders, and chinchillas since 15yrs old. With over 23 years of experience, I have yet to met a pet that I was not fond of or one that didn’t like me. I recognize separation is stressful for both owners and pets and strive to make it easier on both. As I am self-employed, my schedule is flexible. I am ready to accommodate any request for your pets needs. I am available for extended visits and over night stays. Meet and greet is required to ensure a good fit and no stress environment for the animal. I provide complete supervision during any outside time whether it’s on a walk or in the backyard. I make sure all toys are safe to play with and do not pose chocking hazard. I have extensive experience with large and small breeds as well as senior dogs. I also have experience administering medication.
“Elle was amazing and provided wonderful care for our kitty while we were away. I appreciated her kindness and regular communication throughout the visits. She also provided thoughtful updates and lots of pictures! Thanks so much, Elle!”

“Darla is my go to for cat sitting! She responds quickly, sends great updates, communications frequently, and goes above and beyond to make sure I have peace of mind while traveling.”

About: I have owned 3 dogs over the past 20 years. I have watched, walked, and cared for the dogs, cats, birds, turtles, and reptiles. I have trained my own pets and I’m very comfortable meeting new animals. I’m a part-time remotely working licensed realtor so I’ve been fingerprinted and FBI background checked for your safety and peace of mind. I’m currently working part-time from home, mostly on my computer so I have plenty of time to play, walk, and care for your pets. I will carefully adhere to your pets’ schedule, routine, and instructions to make sure your pet has a safe and happy experience in my care.
About: I have been providing loving and affordable pet sitting for family and friends since I was 18. I understand wanting a peace of mind when it comes to your pets and I enjoy being able to give people the freedom to enjoy their time away from home knowing their pets are taken care of. My schedule is usually pretty flexible so please feel free to reach out and we can discuss the best option for your needs. The initial meeting with you and your pets are, in my opinion, one of the most important interactions to ensure a comfortable and successful experience. With that said, I can’t wait to meet y’all! I have a full time job Monday through Friday but I’m able to provide care around that schedule. Saturday and Sunday are my fully open days and I only work until 11 AM on Fridays. I care for pets the same way their owners would care for them. I think consistency is very important in keeping pets comfortable while their family is away.
“Sariena was wonderful, spent time playing and loving on my cats and made sure they had their meals and water. Loved how she kept me up to date and sent wonderful photos of their adventures! I know my cats were in great hands!”

“Sharon was AMAZING with Faith! They hit it off right off the bat. Sharon was very kind and patient with Faith which helped alot since Faith doesn’t like having strangers in the house. She took the time everyday at the end of the walk to just sit and love on Faith. Faith behaved better than she ever has for someone that isn’t me or my children. Sharon even took the time to help with an ant issue I was not aware of! Faith and I very much enjoyed having Sharon care of Faith! We will definitely use Sharon again in the future. Faith has made a fur-ever friend! 🐶🐾🦴”

“We highly recommend our pet sitter, Victoria! She took excellent care of our cats, Coco and Nala, over the past four days. She made sure they were fed, kept their litter box clean, gave them treats, and, most importantly, showered them with plenty of love and attention. She truly went above and beyond to make sure they were happy and comfortable while we were away. Her communication was outstanding, and she regularly sent us pictures and updates, which gave us great peace of mind. We couldn’t be happier with the care she provided and would gladly book her again!”

“Rebecca is amazing! She took great care of both my dog and cat. All the instructions I provided were followed (even the quirky needs of my cat) and she maintained a consistent schedule for them while i was away. Both my pets warmed up to her early on and I can tell they felt taken care of and actually miss her. Rebecca went above and beyond by loving on my fur babies and even took care of extra things I did not even mention. Thank you Rebecca!”

“My dog Rosie does not warm up to people easily and she can be very particular about meeting strangers. Rosie warmed up to Kellie very quickly and I felt so much relief knowing Rosie felt safe and secure with her right away. I can tell from the photos Kellie sends how happy Rosie is during their drop ins. I will be going to Kellie anytime I need a sitter!”

“Laura was great taking care of my pup! She was really sweet and attentive with each of her visits and put my mind at ease that my dog was getting attention and love in my absence. She sent me updates and pictures throughout my trip. I booked her again for my next travel dates.”

Abigail was attentive and so caring with our dogs! She provided helpful updates and she made sure our babies were comfortable and loved on while we were gone. I really felt reassured and knew they were in good hands! She is also great with behavior and just making sure everything was okay in our house. I’d absolutely recommend her!

Marissa is absolutely incredible! Our pets adore her, and it’s clear she treats them like they’re part of her own family. Whenever we’re out of town, we have complete peace of mind knowing they’re in the best hands. She consistently goes above and beyond—leaving thoughtful, detailed updates after every visit and even watering our plants without us ever having to ask. Her kindness, reliability, and genuine love for animals shine through in everything she does. We are so grateful to have found her and can’t recommend her highly enough!

Kira did an absolutely, fantastic job. Showed up for the 10 visits on time, everytime. Sent photos of my dogs each and every visit. I trusted her in my home and she proved herself to be trustworthy. I am so completely satisfied and will inquire her services again in the future. I recommend Miss Kira to anyone looking for a great pet sitter. Thank you, Kira.

Darla has been so very helpful. I broke my ankle and have 2 dogs one is so laid back the other is a 4.5 month old puppy and I was struggling so hard to give him attention. Darla immediately bonded with both dogs and has taken the best care of them while I can't. Highly highly recommend her!
Rachel was wonderful! We needed someone to come check in on our little potato kitty while we were out of town and she was very communicative, sent photos, was on-time, and hung out with our sweet boy to keep him company for a little bit! Very grateful for her! ☺️

Abigail is an excellent sitter and a true pet lover! I was in a bit of a time crunch, and she confirmed her availability quickly, which I really appreciated. Her communication was great, and I had complete peace of mind while I was away knowing my cat was in such good hands. Highly recommended

Alicia was amazing with Charlie, especially while he was dealing with medical issues during my trip. She kept me updated, monitored him closely, and handled everything with so much care and calm. It gave me real peace of mind knowing he was in such capable hands. I’m incredibly grateful and would absolutely book her again.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
