I have experience caring for sheep , chickens and exotics. 10 years experience working with Research Pet and Bird Hospital skills include... some surgeries, post operative care, feeding, walking, front desk, administration of meds, vaccines , 10 years experience working with Animal Rescue in Austin , skills include intensive care of sick and wounded animals, intensive research in best feeding and handling procedures including mandatory classes , bottlefeeding wild baby animals, and release, and 20 plus years experience loving and spoiling my own pets. I've raised squirrels from newborn to adult, several wild and exotic birds ,cared for dogs and cats, hamsters. Love ferrets!! I'm also a retired school teacher 17 years. I am a positive reward oriented caretaker. Loving and caring for animals has been my life's joy. I always consider the needs of the specific pet and the wishes of the owner. I love to spend time cuddling, feeding, playing , walking , grooming , and pampering my own pet and will do the same for yours.

When I’m house sitting I try to stay as close to the owners schedule as possible. I like to have an info sheet on when and what your pup eats, what time they go out for a walk or to play, whether they sleep on your bed or in a special bed for them, favorite toys or games they play with you. I try to fill their day with activities….munching Nyla bones, playing in a baby pool, PB Kong treats, playing ball outside, going on walks, watching Beverly Hills Chihuahua, rubdowns and grooming.The same activities apply to drop in visits . When I’m walking them , they have a leash or harness on , I’m weary of other dogs or animals in the neighborhood, I reinforce your special commands while walking, bring a water bottle for them, and bring treats . I am always watchful for any situation that would possibly be harmful.

Debbie did a wonderful job taking care of our two dogs and our home. She provided excellent communication throughout our time away. The house looks immaculate and the dogs were calm and well cared for when we returned. We would happily work with Debbie again and highly recommend her services.
Debbie has been wonderful with our Italian Greyhound, Piper! Piper is high-energy but incredibly lovable, and she clearly adores Debbie. Debbie is always quick to respond and has been so helpful and accommodating, especially when we’ve needed a sitter on short notice. We feel very comfortable leaving Piper in her care and really appreciate how dependable and caring she is. We highly recommend Debbie and will definitely continue booking with her!
Debbie was absolutely amazing with our animals! She sent us pictures and updates every day, which I truly appreciated. I loved being able to see Lola and Charlie while we were away and know they were happy and well cared for. ❤️ You can tell Debbie genuinely cares for both your pets and your home as if they were her own. She even washed her bedding and picked up after the dogs—things we never even asked her to do! We were so impressed with how thoughtful and attentive she was. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Debbie. Going on vacation will be so much easier now knowing our pets and our home are in such wonderful hands. Debbie was absolutely AMAZING with my pup, Adam! He is an extremely picky eater, and I have spent months trying different things just to get him to consistently eat. Debbie took the time, patience, and care to figure him out — and somehow she solved the problem! I honestly could not believe it. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in such caring and capable hands. Not only did she take incredible care of Adam, but she also went above and beyond in ways she absolutely did not have to. I came home to a clean house, and she even washed my sheets and put them back on the bed. That level of thoughtfulness and care is rare. You can truly tell Debbie treats both pets and homes with respect, kindness, and genuine love. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable, attentive, and compassionate. Thank you again, Debbie!

Schedule
I am currently self employed so I have plenty of time to care for your pets needs. I offer drop in and walking services and I am very flexible. I will also house sit and I prefer 3- 4 day stays.
