I have experience caring for sheep , chickens and exotics. 10 years experience working with Research Pet and Bird Hospital skills include... some surgeries, post operative care, feeding, walking, front desk, administration of meds, vaccines , 10 years experience working with Animal Rescue in Austin , skills include intensive care of sick and wounded animals, intensive research in best feeding and handling procedures including mandatory classes , bottlefeeding wild baby animals, and release, and 20 plus years experience loving and spoiling my own pets. I've raised squirrels from newborn to adult, several wild and exotic birds ,cared for dogs and cats, hamsters. Love ferrets!! I'm also a retired school teacher 17 years. I am a positive reward oriented caretaker. Loving and caring for animals has been my life's joy. I always consider the needs of the specific pet and the wishes of the owner. I love to spend time cuddling, feeding, playing , walking , grooming , and pampering my own pet and will do the same for yours.

When I’m house sitting I try to stay as close to the owners schedule as possible. I like to have an info sheet on when and what your pup eats, what time they go out for a walk or to play, whether they sleep on your bed or in a special bed for them, favorite toys or games they play with you. I try to fill their day with activities….munching Nyla bones, playing in a baby pool, PB Kong treats, playing ball outside, going on walks, watching Beverly Hills Chihuahua, rubdowns and grooming.The same activities apply to drop in visits . When I’m walking them , they have a leash or harness on , I’m weary of other dogs or animals in the neighborhood, I reinforce your special commands while walking, bring a water bottle for them, and bring treats . I am always watchful for any situation that would possibly be harmful.

Debbie was absolutely AMAZING with my pup, Adam! He is an extremely picky eater, and I have spent months trying different things just to get him to consistently eat. Debbie took the time, patience, and care to figure him out — and somehow she solved the problem! I honestly could not believe it. It gave me so much peace of mind knowing he was in such caring and capable hands. Not only did she take incredible care of Adam, but she also went above and beyond in ways she absolutely did not have to. I came home to a clean house, and she even washed my sheets and put them back on the bed. That level of thoughtfulness and care is rare. You can truly tell Debbie treats both pets and homes with respect, kindness, and genuine love. I would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone dependable, attentive, and compassionate. Thank you again, Debbie!
Debbie was great. All pups were happy and well cared for. She followed their routine and sent lots of photos. I’d be happy to have her back anytime!

Debbie was great. She was very communicative and made sure to give my dog her daily medications. I also appreciated that Debbie did not have to leave the house for any long periods of time since my dog has anxiety. Debbie also took great care of my house. I have already book her for another stay.
Debbie was great w/my Golden! It was my first time using Rover and my Golden wasn't feeling good. She had a hot spot and I was so antsy about leaving her for a few days I almost cancelled my travel; Debbie reassured me that she would take good care of her. I was so appreciative that Debbie sent lots of photos daily and she regularly medicated her hot spot; it was almost healed when I got back! I came home to a dog that was feeling much better (as well as a house that was exactly as I left it).
We use Debbie anytime we got on a big trip and she is always fabulous. She is extremely communicative and we never worry about leaving our girls with her. Cant recommend her enough.

Schedule
I am currently self employed so I have plenty of time to care for your pets needs. I offer drop in and walking services and I am very flexible. I will also house sit and I prefer 3- 4 day stays.
