Kelli checked in with me multiples times a day, letting me know what was going on. She also went above and beyond what was required of her, from making sure my garbage cans were on the curb for pick-up day to watering my plants. About: I’ve had dogs since childhood and have been the go-to dog sitter in my friend group for years. Waffles is a friendly, boundary respecting dude who is the “my dog NEVER likes other dogs” exception for more people than I can count. If your pup requires exclusive attention Waffles is more than happy to stay with a friend while I’m with your pet. Happy to talk about any special needs or habits your dog has! I work most days from home so if needed I can be with your pet most of the day (I may leave for things like meetings, grocery trips, a workout, or breakfast/lunch/dinner with friends), sittings that require me to be in the home with the pet 24/7 while you are gone will incur a small extra charge per day. Waffles is content with either playful dogs or sleepy friends, he tends to go with the flow and is happy to just lay around in the sun if that’s your pet’s vibe. I can do multiple walks per day but in very harsh weather I will keep both their safety and mine in mind and talk to you about adjusting walk lengths and times to keep everyone safe and happy. Waffles eats twice a day and is used to eating in a separate room if needed when around other dogs. We have a walk in the morning before the day starts and a few treats when we get home. He gets brushed every few days so I can also provide that for your pet if requested. Bowls are rinsed and refilled with water daily and washed well with soap and hot water every few days. Your pets are more than welcome to sleep in the bed with me if that’s what they are used to, and I love to work from a couch while they nap. I have worked with many clients whose pets have specific meal needs and medication plans (pills, injections, hiding supplements in food, the whole nine). We also typically have an evening walk as well, as long as the heat isn’t too bad and his paws are safe on the concrete. Happy to discuss any specifics for your babies!

Additionally, my mother, who is retired, is home all day too. Dogs visiting my house will be treated as family members. Home full time, I will be able to provide your dog with the care and attention he deserves while staying with me. My home, near Hutto Elementary and Middle Schools, is in a new, quiet neighborhood with plenty of walking trails nearby. My yard is spacious with new grass and a covered patio to provide both sunny and shaded play areas. The price listed is for a 24 hour stay for a dog weighing up to 44 lbs. It would be $35 for a dog weighing 45-94 lbs. Having undergone advanced screening, I have been met face-to-face and my home has been inspected. I look forward to meeting you and your dog(s)!

About: I've had dogs my entire life. I have cared for them, trained them, and loved every single one. I take care of animals as if they are my own even if they belong to someone else. I enjoy animals whether cats or dogs. With me, you'll know I'm there. I take pics letting you know I came and the time. I make sure to spend time playing with them or petting them if not interested in playing. They don't call me a dog whisperer for nothing. Animals can sense the type of people they are around. I let them know they can trust me. I am currently working for Uber Eats so my schedule is flexible. I am available most any time day or night. Animals are my priority. I live in the country on 7 fenced acres. We have other pets on our property. Therefore, I primarily go to people's homes to provide care.

About: I've taken care of family pets on and off since I was a teenager and currently have a mixed-breed dog named Dolly (who is 2 years old)! As a dog parent myself (especially to a high-energy one), I understand every dog has their own rhythm, preferences, and quirks. Punctuality, clear communication, and always returning your pet happy and exercised, are the main priorities (that's what I would want for Dolly!). With my current work schedule, I'm available for morning (6AM-11AM) and late afternoon/evening walks on Sundays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. I would usually need at least 2 days notice to schedule. When walking your dog or entering your home, I’ll treat your space with care and respect. Always make sure the leash, harness, or any gates/doors are secured before and after walks! For the first few walks, I’ll take time to build trust and stick to familiar routes to keep a good comfort level. This also includes sharing quick notes and photos during all of our walks. My overall goal is simple: make sure your dog feels safe and is happy from start to finish!
