“Abigail was great, it was a pleasure meeting her and she took care of Ari & Geri’s needs well while we were away. We received a photo everyday of Ari watching her. (Geri disappears with strangers). We’re grateful to Abigail and will ask her again when her schedule allows.”

“Fantastic pet sitting service we received from Yuvi. She took such good care of Ari & Geri and pics & videos with clear notes each day. Thank you again Yuvi! We’ll definitely be back for your care again! Best, Kyung & Seagan”

About: I I have hands-on experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and energy levels. My background includes daily feeding routines, administering basic medications, leash walks, playtime, and providing lots of affection and attention. I understand that every pet has a unique personality, so I take the time to learn their habits, preferences, and comfort levels. I work a remote full time job. If I’m needed more frequently, all I’d ask is to be allowed to work from your location. Otherwise, I’m on a 9-5 work schedule and can be available for one hour, typically between 11am and 1pm, and every evening. Pet care fits smoothly into my daily and weekly routine. I am available after 3:30 pm daily, which allows me to reliably focus on feeding times, walks, okay sessions, and quality one-on-one care in the afternoons and evenings.
About: I’ve been a dog lover my entire life and cared for my own dog, Lexi, for 13 wonderful years before she passed away from cancer last year. Caring for her through every stage of life gave me deep experience not only with daily walks, feeding, bathing, and training, but also with senior and medical care. Toward the end of her life, I administered medications daily, syringe-fed water, and hand-fed meals, so I understand the patience and gentleness that some pets need. Before Lexi, I grew up in a home full of dogs, and my mom was a breeder for a short time, so I’ve been surrounded by animals since I was young. I truly consider myself a dog person through and through. I work full-time managing procurements and contracts for the state, which means I’m dependable, organized, and responsible. I’m looking to spend time caring for dogs because my home feels a little empty without Lexi, and I would love the companionship of furry friends again. I also know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pet with someone else since I’ve been in that position myself. Because of that, I treat every dog like family and do everything I can to make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I have a large home with a yard and plenty of space for dogs to relax and feel at home. I work 10 hour days Monday - Thursday so I’m available full time Friday - Sunday. Monday I work from home so I can coordinate pick ups on that day. I care for pets as if they were my own and focus on keeping their routines consistent so they feel safe and comfortable. In my home, dogs will have plenty of space to relax and feel at ease. I have a large home with a fully fenced yard where dogs can enjoy supervised outdoor time, and I live in a safe neighborhood that’s great for walks. For boarding, I follow each dog’s normal feeding, potty, and sleep schedule. Dogs receive regular potty breaks, walks, exercise, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality and needs whether they are energetic, shy, senior, or need extra patience and reassurance. For drop-in visits and dog walking, I carefully follow all instructions provided by the owner to maintain their pet’s routine. I make sure pets get the exercise, attention, and care they need while keeping their environment safe and clean. I also have experience caring for senior and sick dogs. Toward the end of my own dog Lexi’s life, I administered medications daily, syringe-fed water, and hand-fed meals, so I’m comfortable providing extra support when needed. As a dog owner myself, I understand how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pet with someone else. I provide regular updates and photos so owners feel confident knowing their pets are safe, loved, and well cared for.

“Anabel was great!! Very communicative, friendly, and took lots of photos during her time with our dog. Would highly recommend and she accommodated our last minute booking.”

“Gracie was so great. I was nervous about how my pup would interact with someone new but she was able to do a meet and greet first. She was so patient with him and I will be booking her again in the near future.”

“Emilee was outstanding and our dogs loved spending time with her. She kept us up to date on what was happening with them with updates and photos. Even helped them get us a card congratulating us on our wedding!! Emilee is highly recommended, I would definitely book with her again!! Thank you!!!”

About: I know how important it is to have help taking care of our furry friends. From potty breaks or just playing with them. I am able to do drop ins and make sure they are doing well and have food and water. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, I have 3 of my own. I also have experience with puppies, reactive and shy pups. Although I do not have cats of my own I have taken care of them and know they still need love and attention. I know communication is important and can and will send pictures and updates. I currently work M-F from 7a to 3/4. So I have time for drop ins and walks in the afternoon and evening as well all day on the weekends. As a pet owner I know how important it is for someone to be reliable and show up for a furry loved ones. I know how pictures can bring peace of mind

“I requested Virginia last minute for a holiday booking and she absolutely came through for me (and Sage). There is nobody I would trust more to look after my girl. Thank you for all the help and the dependability.”

“Dee Dee is so professional and kind. She helped us out when we had to go to Houston on very short notice. This is our first time working with her and we are thrilled to have found her. Plus our dogs love her!”
“It was our first time leaving our sweet girl for an extended amount of time, and with a stranger checking in on her on top of it. Jordyn was great with her from their first meet. She was so accommodating and communicative, which was extremely reassuring and was very attentive to Koko’s needs. She was just so very sweet and an overall pleasure to work with. We will definitely be using her again in the future!”

“Valda was excellent! I had to make a last-minute booking for the holidays, and she responded quickly and with so much grace. Would definitely recommend booking her to anyone needing their cats watched and played with.”

About: I grew up walking, feeding and playing with small and large dogs. Ive watched friends’ younger cats and cared for two of my own high need senior kitties. I will primarily be free later in the day. I am off on Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays so on those days I am more able to devote time. I keep a tidy environment to ensure the safety, healthy, and happiness of all pets. I make sure to keep everything organized to best take care of all necessities.
About: I grew up in a home full of animals and continue that life today with two cats and two dogs in the Manor area. My dogs absolutely love having friends over and are used to new pups visiting weekly. They’re friendly, social, and do great with both large and small dogs. My cats are comfortable around dogs and have safe spaces if they prefer privacy. When your pet stays with us, they’re treated like one of our own, with full roaming privileges throughout our home unless you prefer otherwise. As a very hands-on sitter, I provide lots of love, attention, and frequent updates with photos so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away. I work in corporate HR and have flexibility to work from home 2-3 days a week. I have flexibility for mid-day visits, walks, etc as needed. Outside of typical working hours, I am generally available at night and throughout weekends as well as I am local and know the downtown area well. Additionally, my partner works 100% remotely and will be available for the care of your pet. We treat all animals in our care as if they’re our own. We believe in allowing them to roam, sit on our sofas, sleep in our room, and play in the backyard as our other animals do. If your pet requires special accommodations/restrictions, we have a second floor that can be gated off for their privacy. We also have spare crates if your pet requires crating.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Manor
Yuvisela is absolutely amazing! I found her on Rover 5 years ago when one of my dogs, Rainey, was a puppy and she was great with her, so now with our new puppy Kieva, she’s been equally great. Kieva is a handful and Yuvisela is patient, understands and follows our instructions for Kieva. She communicates all the time and is very respectful of our home. I 100% recommend her to take care of your pets.

Emilee was great with the kitties! She kept me updated on how they were doing, which is great as a pet owner leaving your pets alone. I asked her pretty last minute for this service and she was very nice to fit into her birthday weekend! 🥹 Thank you so much!!

Abigail was absolutely fantastic! She took great care of our dogs, Kronk and Yzma, during her drop-in visits while we were away. She was reliable, communicative, and made sure they were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. We really appreciated the updates and the peace of mind she gave us knowing our pups were in such good hands. Kronk and Yzma were clearly well looked after, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. We will definitely be booking with Abigail again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!

Avileni has been watching my pups for a couple weeks now and has been taking great care of them. She uploads pictures on every visit, leaves good detailed notes, and updates me whenever something comes up. I greatly appreciate the help she has been giving us!

Kelsey watched our cat for a week while we were out of town. She was always on time, took great photos and took excellent care of “our boy.” An issue came up with our garage door opening on its own, and Kelsey quickly got in touch with us and manually closed the door. And she made sure our house was secure. She made us feel completely secure knowing our house and our cat were being taken care of. We would definitely use Kelsey’s services again.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
