I wanted to wait to review after a few visits with Gracie, but she is great with my puppy! She always greets her with excited energy! You can really tell she loves dogs! I most importantly love how great she’s been with my last minute requests! She’s amazingly helpful! Thank you!! Will be requesting Gracie from now on!

Baguette has only been with Linda a couple of days but I can already tell how much she loves it there. I’ve never seen her come home so happy and relaxed! Linda gives her so much love, attention, and playtime and I feel 100% at ease knowing she’s in such good hands. It means the world to know my lil baby is safe, cared for, and having fun while I’m at work. We’re so lucky to have found her! 💕🐾

About: We both grew up with dogs of various sizes and love all animals. We have over 13 years of experience with caring for our own dogs, one of which has allergies and anxiety and requires routine medications. We will treat and love your dog as our own! Because of my WFH schedule, I have lots of flexibility to provide potty breaks, play with, and walk your pup throughout the day! I will stick to their routine and provide pictures and updates during their stay. We have a spacious home with a fenced backyard and a sweet 8 year-old dog, Rylee, who loves other dogs. We have used Rover for over four years, so we understand how important it is to find a sitter you can trust to love and care for your fur baby like you do. We are responsible pet parents who prioritize their comfort, safety, and needs. **Please note: we require a meet and greet prior to all new client bookings to ensure the dogs get along and to answer any questions you may have.

Absolutely amazing, came in last minute when my plans for a dog sitter had fallen apart and took amazing care of my fur baby. I think our trip ended up being more fun for him than it was for us thanks to Jen. Highly recommend!!

This was our first stay using this app and Valda was amazing. Before I booked with her she was open to meet and was great with her communication and response time. My pup and hers seemed to get along at first meet so it made me more comfortable. She made sure to ask all the right questions about my pups schedule and feeding. She sent pictures and kept in touch the entire time! I 100% recommend her and will be using her the next time we need anything!

About: I’ve cared for many different dog breeds and other pets since I was a little kid. I am a very reliable and responsible sitter who will treat your dog like my very own. My work schedule allows for a lot of flexibility during the summers because I work in education. Therefore, I will have a lot of time to dedicate to caring for your pet(s). I have a fenced in yard and live in a small neighborhood with a safe walking area and many outside trails. I will ensure plenty of play time, walks, and cuddles as needed to entertain your pets.

About: I have been a dog owner for 8 years and have experience with post surgery, administering medicines, and senior dogs for 2 years. I’ve watched my several of my friend’s dogs and they all get along great with Tendie! I love to play with energetic dogs and relax and snuggle with lazy dogs. I have a good sized fenced in yard for dogs of all sizes to explore and sniff to their hearts desires! I work from home so I can accommodate any special bathroom or other timing needs. Tendie is a senior dog who does very well with other dogs and mostly keeps to himself after he’s met another dog. I work from home so I can accommodate any special timing needs your dog may have. I can let a dog out in my yard anytime of day for bathroom breaks and typically go on walks around 4-5pm, but can adjust if needed. I have a fully fenced in yard and live on a quiet street away from loud traffic and busy intersections. I also have several rooms to separate any dogs if some alone time is needed.

About: I have been a dog mama for over 15 years to 2 of the best girls. Both have passed now and while we would love to add another fur baby to our family, we are taking a break while raising our two tiny humans! Our most recent fur baby just passed 2 months ago, and we are looking to love on your sweet babies to bring some of that joy back into our home! We are very familiar with special skin care, medication, special diet needs, and separation anxiety! I'm a stay at home mom, so they will have lots of play and attention, walks around the neighborhood, especially to the local duck pond, as well as plenty of potty breaks in our big backyard! I'm a stay at home mom, so I'm available all day to take your fur babies for walks, let out for potty breaks, and get lots of play and attention! I have two kiddos who love dogs and love to play! I also have a good sized fenced in yard for running and potty breaks! I can provide a kennel if needed! My home is peaceful, and fully outfitted with security!

I was very happy and satisfied with the service I received from Alonso and his wife Eva. They treated my dog Charlie with compassion and affection and truly cared for him like he was part of their family. It gave me great peace of mind knowing Charlie was in such kind and attentive hands. I would definitely recommend their services to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring dog sitter. Thank you both so much! If I ever need doggie daycare again, I will definitely use your services.

About: I just lost my cat and I would love to have some company without the commitment! I've pet sat professionally for years back in NJ with Kate's Canine Care. I'm a homebody and have nothing much going on this summer. I currently am a sales manager at SEV Laser downtown and this is a great way for me to make some extra income. I have an incredibly flexible schedule and work my own hours. I'm available for boarding or house sitting. Short weekends away or long vacations I'm your girl! My apartment complex has a lovely dog park right outside my building. I love when pets sleep with me (if that's okay with their owners) and cuddle with me. I'm very calm and organized. I will follow specific directions with ease

About: I have been a dog companion and animal lover since before I can remember. Born into a home with pets of all kinds, I eventually became a cat and dog mom on my own. I was the proud dog mom of a sweet soul called Mable until March of 26; losing her was pretty ruff. I am not ready to adopt again (yet), but I miss the energy of a dog in my life. I work from home, so dog sitting seems like a win win. If you'd like your fuzz baby to be welcomed into a calm, loving home where they'll be treated like family, look no further! Whether your dog is energetic and playful, prefers leisurely sniffing adventures, or simply wants a cozy spot to nap after a few belly rubs, I'll tailor their day to what makes them happiest. I have plenty of time to chill with your pup; your fuzz baby will have companionship, attention, potty breaks, playtime, and affection throughout the day. A comfy air conditioned home and a beautiful fenced yard await! There's a sprinkler or pool for doggos allowed to enjoy a dip, and a trailhead to Walnut Creek close by, so walks in the forest are possible. Neighborhood walks are of course available as well. With permission and familiarity, daytrips are also an option. I've always been a "bring the dog" gal, and that may or may not apply to your dog, as mutually agreed upon. Safety is my highest priority, and I'll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can relax knowing your best bud is having a wonderful time. I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone else because they are your family. My goal is simple: for your dog to be excited to come back every time—and for you to have complete peace of mind. I feel that dogs know where they are comfortable; they seem to be comfortable with me, and my boyfriend is pretty much a dog whisperer. Friends often joke that dogs seem to find me before I find them, and I wouldn't have it any other way. Volunteer coordinators have told me I have "a quiet connection" with dogs, and I think that's true. If your dog is feeling it, they can enjoy a safe, comfortable environment where they will be well cared for. I had a very active dog in this home and yard and she was well contained, in spite of her intense desire to get herself a squirrel. The yard opens atop a cliff overlooking a creek and is fenced and dog safe, but the pool does serve as part of the fence line. I think a dog would struggle to exit the yard, but you know your dog and would need to make the final call.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Manor commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 2,692 sitters in Manor, 84% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
