“Artemis doesn’t typically have zoomies at home but when she was boarding with Lilia she had the zoomies. This was clear sign that she had a fun time with Lilia and the other small dogs. Lilia is amazing at taking care of all them and making them feel at home. This was the first time I ever left Artemis with anyone for an extended period of time and I’m so glad Lilia was available to watch her. I highly recommend Lilia and her services!!”

“Could not be happier with A&E looking after Pooka. Scheduling has been so easy with clear communication and prompt pick-up/drop off and it really takes a lot of stress off of Me because I work a lot of hours. They even send Me videos of Her playing with a wide selection of chews and squeakers and their dog Paisley is such a good sport, even when Pooka can be a bit of a bugaboo. 100% recommend.”

“During the week that Anabel puppy sat Brodie, she became one of his favorite people. Anabel is professional and very thoughtful. She sent photos daily and had great communication. Highly recommend”

“Valeriia was the sweetest and most patient with my dog that has a hard time with new people. She was so attentive towards him and always respecting his pace towards meeting new people. She was very responsive and always keeping me updated on my dog’s day while I was out of town.”

“Jehisson took amazing care of my dog aura. Gave her a lot of love and affection. Sent lots of pictures and updates and already have him booked again for my next dog sitting needs! Highly recommend”

“Zora took amazing care of our dog Kona. She provided lots of pictures, videos and updates and we knew he was in good hands. He got along well with her dog, Zara, too. Would definitely rebook!”

“Wilson and Jessica are the best! They were attentive and really cared for my dog. Their dog, Winnie, was super friendly. I know my dog was happy to have a friend to play with for the week. They had a super spacious backyard, perfect for fetch! I was constantly getting pictures and videos of all the fun things they were doing throughout the day. Boomer is as excited as I am for his next stay. Can’t thank them enough!”

“Erika did an excellent job watching after our Peppercorn. Regular photo and video updates and our dog had plenty of other dogs to play with throughout her stay.”

“Andrew did great with our dog! We felt like we could trust him with our dog, and he sent regular updates and took him on plenty of walks. We’d definitely use him again. Thank you!”

About: I grew up in a home full of animals and continue that life today with two cats and two dogs in the Manor area. My dogs absolutely love having friends over and are used to new pups visiting weekly. They’re friendly, social, and do great with both large and small dogs. My cats are comfortable around dogs and have safe spaces if they prefer privacy. When your pet stays with us, they’re treated like one of our own, with full roaming privileges throughout our home unless you prefer otherwise. As a very hands-on sitter, I provide lots of love, attention, and frequent updates with photos so you can feel completely at ease while you’re away. I work in corporate HR and have flexibility to work from home 2-3 days a week. I have flexibility for mid-day visits, walks, etc as needed. Outside of typical working hours, I am generally available at night and throughout weekends as well as I am local and know the downtown area well. Additionally, my partner works 100% remotely and will be available for the care of your pet. We treat all animals in our care as if they’re our own. We believe in allowing them to roam, sit on our sofas, sleep in our room, and play in the backyard as our other animals do. If your pet requires special accommodations/restrictions, we have a second floor that can be gated off for their privacy. We also have spare crates if your pet requires crating.
“Shevell and her family were great. The entire family was involved with taking care of our pups! Her husband and three boys were great and Shevell was amazing! We had daily pics and the pups were happy. Thank you so much!”

“I must have done something right in a past life to have found someone as caring, amazing, and intentional as Kate to look after Princess. I got photos and videos everyday of her playing and having a good time, and she came back happy as ever. It was my first time leaving for over 2 weeks, and I was nervous, but all that went away when I saw my pup was in the best hands. I recommend to everyone.”

“jordyn was amazing !!! it was my first time leaving onyx with her & he did so well , thank you jordyn for making my baby feel comfortable & at home ! we appreciate everything :)”

“Sonia was great! She knew how to approach my dog when I dropped him off and he seemed to feel at ease even before I left. Sonia was great about sending photos and I won't hesitate to book with her again.”

“My two puppies have truly enjoyed their stay with Amber and her dog, Bella! Amber has been extremely accommodating of our needs and flexible through our many adjustments of our schedule. Our two puppies seemed happy and calm from the many photos that were provided regularly! Happy to know our dogs were well taken care of!”

“Joel was great! He took such good care of Joey. It was my first time leaving him in the care of someone else as I was traveling overseas and his consistent updates and photos kept me at ease and I saw that my cat was really happy and thriving and having such a great time. I would certainly book him again and I highly recommend him. He’s so caring, attentive, detail oriented, and I would love to board Joey with him again!”

About: I have hands-on experience caring for dogs through both owning my own dogs and providing boarding for other families’ pets. Caring for dogs has been a meaningful part of my life, and I truly enjoy getting to know each dog’s unique personality. I have experience with dogs of different breeds, sizes, ages, and energy levels. I’m comfortable with feeding, daily walks, playtime, crate routines, basic grooming, administering oral medication, and caring for senior dogs who need extra patience and attention. Because I care for only one to three dogs at a time, I can provide personalized attention in a calm, low-stress environment. My home has a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play, exercise, and relax under close supervision. I understand that every owner wants to know their pet is happy and safe. That’s why I provide regular photo and video updates throughout each stay and follow each dog’s routine as closely as possible to help them feel at home. Because I spend most of my time at home, your dog will receive lots of attention, supervision, companionship, and affection throughout the day. I intentionally accept only one to three dogs at a time so every guest receives personalized care instead of being part of a large group. I understand that every dog has different needs. Whether your pup is energetic, shy, a senior dog, or requires medication, I’ll carefully follow your instructions and maintain their regular routine. My goal is to make your dog feel relaxed, happy, and loved while you’re away. You’ll never have to wonder how your dog is doing. I truly enjoy building trust with both pets and their families, and I look forward to welcoming your furry friend into my home. Thank you for considering me. I live in a clean, smoke-free single-family home with a fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play under my supervision. I never leave dogs unattended outside, and I make sure they have a secure, comfortable indoor space to rest and relax. I only accept a small number of dogs at a time so I can provide each pet with plenty of individual attention and closely monitor their behavior. I carefully follow each owner’s feeding schedule, exercise routine, medication instructions, and any special care requests to help pets feel comfortable and maintain their normal routine. Before introducing dogs to one another, I consider their personalities and comfort levels to ensure a safe and positive experience. If needed, I can keep dogs separated to reduce stress and provide one-on-one care. Throughout your pet’s stay, I’ll send regular photo and video updates so you always know how they’re doing. If I notice any changes in your pet’s behavior or health, I’ll contact you immediately and follow your instructions. If an emergency ever occurs, I will seek veterinary care right away and keep you informed every step of the way. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, low-stress environment where every pet feels at home and every owner feels confident and reassured.

Yuvisela was amazing with Luna! She was incredibly responsible and kept me updated, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Her home felt warm and welcoming, more like a real home than a boarding place. Luna had the best time and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter!

Every dog parent get anxious leaving their pets to be taken care of with someone new. However, I felt such at ease with Emilee she took care of my dog for a whole week and she kept me updated every single day with my dog Lola! I am so beyond grateful for the attentive detail she provided for my dog. My dog didn’t want to leave her house after I picked her up. Your pet is in great hands with Emiliee and the help with her boyfriend as well. Lola will return for future sitting. I highly recommend Emilee! Thank you for everything!

Brandi was incredible with Jett and Lady Bird. She sent regular updates and photos and genuinely treated them like her own. Both pups came back happy, relaxed, and clearly well loved. It gave us total peace of mind while we were away. We highly recommend Brandi and will definitely be booking her again.

Tess was wonderful with my dog, Chase! He loved his stay and had a blast playing with her dogs. Tess was very responsive throughout, and she kept me updated with plenty of photos and videos, which gave me such peace of mind. I could tell Chase was happy and well cared for. I would definitely book with Tess again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
