“I went on a trip 5 day trip and left my 15lbs. chiweenie with Nelda and she made him feel right at home. He had all the backyard time he wanted and I even got daily updates and pictures. On pick-up day my flight got canceled and rebooked for the following day. Nelda was very accommodating and understanding and he was able to stay an extra day with her. I would leave my pup with her again.”

“April is amazing. She provided me with daily pup-dates and pictures, so I knew my sweet Bella was in good hands. April went above and beyond in making Bella feel welcome and took care of her like she was one of her own puppies. April responded quickly in all communication. I will definitely book April again.”

“Kara is great!! She has watching both of my dogs the past 2 times I have needed to board them. I plan on using Kara every time from here on out! She is super flexible & available on drop off/pick up times which has been super convenient for me. I love all the pictures she sends me throughout the stay-my dogs are always playing with her dogs or cuddling up on the couch!”
“Elizabeth took such wonderful care of our cats, and you can truly tell she does this from the bottom of her heart. Many pet sitters may accept cat boarding simply as a job, but Elizabeth genuinely loved and cared for our cats as if they were her own. Our cats are not the easiest to look after, two of them require medication and the third one is quite naughty, but she handled everything with so much patience and care. She was even able to successfully give them their medication, which is not an easy task. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were in such kind and capable hands. We are incredibly grateful and would absolutely trust Elizabeth with our cats again.”

“Nahid has taken care of my 2 dogs twice now. He’s very communicative & great with the dogs. His dog Vincent is so friendly & wonderful with my little dogs. Nahid is very helpful & flexible.”

“My pup's stay with Stacy was wonderful! The whole process of setting up a meet and greet, drop off, and pic up was very smooth and easy. Stacy communicates very thoughtfully throughout and I really enjoyed all the pictures of my pup that I recieved throughout the stay. He was very well taken care of and fit in really well at Stacy's home. Thank you Stacy for making my pup's time so smooth and enjoyable! He came back in happy spirits. Looking forward to booking more stays with Stacy again!”

“Took very good care of our two pups and we were extremely happy with their services. We had an issue and could not make the scheduled pick up time and they were very understanding and accommodating.”

“Andrea and David are awesome! They took great care of my dog and have great communication. My dog remembered their house when we went back and she was really excited to see them which was so nice.”

“Briona continues to be our favorite person to board our pup with. She sends tons of pics, communicates quickly and easily. And we know our pup is safe and loved!”

“Nia has been amazing! She’s very communicative and responsive. We scheduled a meet and greet before our trip, and since she has a dog as well, we were able to make sure the dogs got along and they did great together. She also has a large dog park right outside her home, which is perfect for an active dog. We’ll definitely consider booking with her again for our next trip.”

“Had another great experience with Dell! This was the second time we booked them to watch our pups. They take them on adventures and provide drop offs that make it really convenient. Already planning to book Dell again!”

“Excellent care, attentive and responsive with an incredible space for puppies!! Ours was a bit of work but Patrick was great with communication and care for our six month old pup! Not to mention his home is better than any B&B you'll find in Austin! I think our doggie had a better vacation than we did which is just the way you want it!! Thank you Patrick and family!!!”

“Priya and family have been great caretakers, and it is a wonderful home for our sweet Leo (Labradoodle). Her constant updates were a bonus and kept us informed of Leo’s day. We were assured of Leo’s well-being while we were away, and it took a major stress off our heads. Priya is a great pet sitter, and I recommend her highly.”

About: Dogs have been part of my family for my entire life, and I have experience caring for many different breeds, sizes, ages, and personalities. I truly love dogs and understand that every dog has their own routine, comfort level, and needs. I work from home, so your dogs receive plenty of attention and are not left alone for long periods. We also have two friendly dachshunds of our own and are very comfortable caring for multiple dogs. Our home has a large, secure, fully fenced backyard where dogs can safely play and explore. We also have a doggy door, allowing dogs to go outside when they need to, as long as they are comfortable using it. I also have a great local park nearby where dogs can enjoy walks, fresh air, and playtime. Because of the Texas heat, all walks and park visits will be scheduled early in the morning or later in the evening when temperatures are cooler and safer. I treat every dog like part of the family and do my best to make them feel safe, loved, comfortable, and at home while their owner is away. I work from home, so caring for dogs fits naturally into our daily routine. I have a secure, fully fenced backyard with trees for shade, and the gate stays locked for safety. I also have a doggy door, so dogs who are comfortable using it can go outside whenever they need to. I enjoy taking dogs on walks in the morning and later in the evening when the temperature is cooler. Because of the Texas heat, we avoid walking during the hottest parts of the day. Inside, there are plenty of toys, treats, and comfortable places to relax. I also have two small dogs of our own who enjoy having friendly dogs to play with. In our home, dogs are treated like part of the family. I have a large two-story house with plenty of room for dogs to play, relax, and find a comfortable space of their own. Our backyard is fully fenced and has a secure locked gate, giving dogs a safe place for supervised outdoor time and potty breaks. I also have a nearby park where we can take dogs for walks and playtime when the weather is cool enough. My two daughters love spending time with dogs and enjoy giving them attention and gentle play. I follow each owner’s instructions closely, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise routines, and any special care needs. Our goal is to make every dog feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they are with us.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Cedar Park
This was our first time leaving our dog with someone for so long, but we'd would do it again with Victor & Yisel. They took such good care of our dog, and send daily updates with vids/pics. Even though our dog hates the camera, I could tell he was having a good time and very comfortable. Communication was easy, and they were really friendly. Glad to have found a sitter we can trust! Thank you!

Haley was absolutely wonderful with our Buddy. He had a wonderful time staying with her for four days and I received constant pics and communication throughout the stay. Would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great Rover pet sitter. Will definitely reach out to her again when we go out of town.

We had such a great first experience with Rover thanks to Jes. She was very caring, responsible, and kept us updated every day with pictures and messages. She did a wonderful job keeping Oppy in his normal routine, and it was clear from the pictures how happy and comfortable he was with her. That gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. When we picked him up, he was happy and relaxed, and Jes had even put a cute fall bow tie on him and gave us a little picture of Oppy for our fridge. Such thoughtful touches. We would absolutely trust her with Oppy again and would love for him to stay with her on our next trip. Thanks, Jes!

Nita was absolutely wonderful with our boy. He can be a bit nervous and timid at first but she was patient and allowed him to get comfortable. She provided daily updates in pictures and assured us that he was doing well. Leaving your fur baby is never easy but Nita made us feel completely at ease. We would recommend her and use her again!

Olena took fantastic care of our dog, Flash, while we were away for a couple of nights. She was attentive, loving, and made sure Flash was happy and comfortable the entire time. We truly appreciated how great she was with communication—keeping us posted with regular updates, which gave us complete peace of mind. Olena is reliable, caring, and trustworthy. We couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter and highly recommend her!

Milly is so experienced with dogs, Toby feels so stress free going there and coming home. I see she gives lots of love and attention to Toby, he smiles when I see pictures of him at her care, I can trust to leave Toby with Milly anytime I need her services. Thank you Milly for your wonderful service.

Katherine and Ryan are the best! Winnie stayed with them while my husband and I were celebrating our anniversary abroad and she was so incredibly content and at ease. They shared consistent updates and when we came back home, we came back to a very happy pup. 10/10 would recommend and now Katherine and Ryan will be our go-tos when they have availability! -Angela

Nicholas saved the day, for sure. On super late notice he was able to take Max in. From the photos he provided, Max was very well cared for and made a whole group of “friends” while he was there, as Nicholas had other dogs for him to play with. Home was very clean and inviting and will 100% book again, if ever needed. Thank you, Nicholas!

Kerrigan was an amazing dog sitter for our Maple while we were on vacation. She treated her just like one of the family and sent lots of pictures and videos to help us all feel connected. She went above and beyond to make sure Maple was happy, healthy, comfortable, and loved. I would absolutely book with Kerrigan again!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
