About: Iâve taken care of dogs and cats for a variety of neighbors and friends for the last 5 years. I have cared for small, medium, and large dogs. The largest dog was around 140 pounds. I have also looked after cats. I work full time Monday-Thursday, so I am mainly looking for opportunities over the weekend. However, I have a flexible work schedule so I can stop by during my lunch break as needed. I have lots of exposure to a variety of animals so I am excited to get to know your pet and make them feel loved while you are away! I love talking to my pets at home, giving them treats, going on walks, and cuddling on the couch.
About: If you're looking for a reliable and consistent sitter to follow detailed step by step instructions then I'm the sitter for you! I have about sixteen years of experience with various ages of cats and dogs, specifically chronically ill and picky eaters! I can weigh and measure out food and medication, I can record times and send pictures, I can sing and dance (not well), I can run or walk with your pet, and I can read a room and bring whatever energy your pets needs to the space that day! I'd love to be a part of your pets life! Thanks for reading! I work full time but it's a very flexible remote home job. I can take time to drive short distances and walk your pets on my lunch breaks if needed. N/A- I'd be going to your place. Tidy out your medicine cabinets (just kidding, I promise to respect your privacy and treat your home like the safe space it is for your precious animals!)
âCatherine was very communicative and extremely flexible with taking care of my dog Bronson. She was so kind as to help out with our cats while we were away as well.â

About: Hi! Iâm a lifelong animal lover with a gentle heart and a dependable nature. Iâve cared for dogs and cats of all sizes and personalities â from playful puppies to senior snugglers. I believe every pet deserves love, patience, and consistency. Whether your furry friend needs long walks, belly rubs, or quiet companionship, Iâll make sure they feel safe and happy while youâre away. I provide a clean, peaceful environment complete with a relaxing garden area that gives a retreat like feel. Why Youâll Love Working With Me: â Reliable and communicative â Comfortable with all breeds and temperaments â Focused on safety, affection, and fun I spend most of my time at home, currently working a remote job that allows flexibility and lots of cuddle time with pets. In my free time, I care for my patio garden with the help of my two sweet Pomeranian pups. We have been working on making a patio garden that gives a relaxing retreat-like feel to play in. Safety is top priority for me ! I keep a clean environment and watch closely to eliminate anything that could be a safety issue while your pet is here. My dogs are fully vaccinated and friendly and know when to back off and give other dogs space. They typically sleep most of the day next to me while I work.
âNicholas came over relatively last minute when I was under the weather. He provided text updates along the way and the puppy was pooped by the end of the walk!â

âTawya is wonderful with our pups. We are so thankful to have her help us when we are away. Sheâs always super responsive and sometimes available on short notice. Sheâs wonderful, hire herâ

About: Pets have always been a big part of my life, and I've grown up treating them as part of the family. I have experience caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies to senior companions. I especially enjoy spending time with puppies and kittens who are SO very cute but often need a little more attention, patience, and consistency. Being a pet owner myself, I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else's care. My goal is to make sure your pet feels safe, loved, and comfortable while giving you complete peace of mind. Expect plenty of cuddles, walks, playtime, and personalized care tailored to your pet's needs. Iâm currently a stay-at-home mom and have plenty of time during the summer to check in on your pets. My time flexibility makes scheduling easy! My family currently has one dog, two cats, and five chickens. The type of care Iâd expect for them is the same type of care I will give for your pets as well.

I'm extremely responsible, attentive, and I genuinely love spending time with animals. When your pets are in my care, I will treat them like my own! About: I'm a remote worker looking for pets to be my workday company. Willing to work from your home during the day and help me fellow neighbors. Remote worker with flexible schedule and freedom to work from your home and keep your pet company. Always seeking walk breaks with your furry family member. I prefer to visit pets where they are most comfortable and give them the love and affection they deserve in their own home. I'm very understanding of pet routines and strict scheduling that pets depend on.
About: After finishing Graduate school and getting my first full-time job as a music teacher, I adopted my dog, Bailey. She had just turned two and was given up to the animal shelter because she was "too much to handle". She is a blue heeler (cattle dog) mix and has the strongest prey drive. It is challenging to train an intelligent dog with a strong prey drive that is also an escape artist! I understand the importance of not letting the dog get out without a leash properly secure. Bailey is now 11 years old and I am so proud of her progress. I'm not a dog training but I have helped my brother start the training progress with his first young dog. And have helped care for his 4 cats and his Great Pyrenees Mountain dog mix when he was gone for a week. Growing up I was always the dog lover and when I was old enough for our first family dog, we got a Shih Tzu and I took her through 4H dog training and agility. I have a special talent for trimming dog toe nails even for the ones that normally won't let people touch their paws. I feel comfortable walking big dogs or dogs that tend to pull. I also enjoy running with dogs if that is something your dog might need/enjoy. I've taken my dog on bike rides but that takes some extra training and trust to bike with a dog. I run my own private violin studio so my work hours are M-F after school hours. I'm usually available in the mornings and afternoons and late evening to care for your pet when you need a hand. And I'm available the weekends around my performing gigs. I am able to care for your pet(s) in your home. I have reliable transportation and can stay at your place if needed but prefer to stop in and not stay.
About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 10 years old. I love dogs big and small, and would love to care for yours! I am currently an online graduate student, so I have plenty of time to care for your pet! I am an early riser and can be available throughout the day and evening. I will always make sure your pet feels comfortable before a walk. I treat every dog or cat like my own, and their safety and happiness is my priority.

Dree was amazing while taking care of my dog this past week. I highly recommend Jamie to anyone looking for a dependable and compassionate dog walker.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
