“Great communication, kind and patient with our stressed out Husky. When we came back from our trip we could tell she was so cared for. Thank you Valerie for all the extra TLC you gave sky we could tell she was so happy!”

“Brandy is the best! Lucy absolutely loves her, and having Brandy’s support has made a huge difference—especially since Lucy has some separation anxiety. Knowing she’s with someone she trusts gives me so much peace of mind. Brandy is super flexible and easy to work with, which makes things so much less stressful for me as a dog owner. I’m really grateful to have her in our lives!”

About: I've taken care of pets when I was younger, but throughout the past couple of years I haven't cared for many animals. I'll watch a friends dog here and there, but I'd love to get more into animal care. Pets give off special energies and I love how they can make a person feel more comfortable and relaxed. I'd love to have pets when I move into a place of my own, but until then I'll care for yours! Pretty open availability - just get with me on details! Luckily, I work from home full-time, so we should be able to work something out! I'm generally very gentle and patient when it comes to animal care. I strongly believe in listening to the owners needs and methods of caring for their pets as it will allow for me to give your pet the best care possible. I love playtimes and cuddling with dogs and cats, so expect them to receive lots of love! I will happily follow any protocol you have for your pet as long as you clearly communicate that with me beforehand.

I have experience caring for dogs, cats, reptiles, rodents, chickens, and more. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, shy and nervous, or simply needs a consistent routine while you're away, I'II meet them where they are. I work from home as an entrepreneur, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to provide dependable care just about any time your family needs it. Safety, trust, and communication are my top priorities. I'll treat your animals with the same patience and attention I give my own. I have experiencing administering medicine, caring for elderly animals, as well as handicapped animals.

About: Hello there! My partner and I just moved to Austin and have been trying to explore every inch of it whenever possible. Growing up in Hawaii I was a volunteer at the local humane society and no kill shelters off and on for many years which ignited my love of dogs.🐺 💗 After college I spent 2 years as a lead for a busy doggy daycare in Seattle, 1 year as a manager of a dog food / grooming boutique in California, 1 year as a dog trainer in Los Angeles and my partner and I have fostered many dogs before they were adopted. I live in a house with a fenced-in yard with my guy, our 9 year old Husky and our 2 year old Beauceron. We like to play and wonder around our neighborhood with our dogs and I'd love it if your pup could join us! I don’t have a full time job at the moment and my partner works from home, so I have lots of time for walks and enriching activities! Our house has a spacious fenced in yard and multiple bedrooms that can be used for guest dogs. We also have an XL crate and baby gates that we utilize to keep the dogs separate for feeding/ sleeping/ breaks/ and anytime a human is not right there to monitor them. Dogs are never left outside alone, and when we need to leave the house we put every dog in their own space with water and a treat and turn on ring cameras inside to monitor them.
“This was our first time using Rover, and Mimi immediately eased any anxiety we had about utilizing this service to find care for our sweet girl, Lomani. Mimi was awesome! Took great care of our pup. She sent us pictures and updates every day. From the introductory meeting to the end of the service, she was professional, caring, and attentive. Highly recommend her.”

About: My family and I have taken care of dogs and cats for years. We also have our own small Pomeranian who is happy and healthy. My husband and I both telecommute full time. My mom also lives next door. So there is basically someone home almost always. We are home in the evenings thanks to having two small kids (6&9) We usually go out to parks and outdoor restaurants on the weekends where we can take our dog with us. I have a fenced yard and our 4 year old (spayed) Pomeranian - Cookie - who loves a good play-pal. Cookie sleeps in a crate at night so I can easily do the same for your doggo. They can even have their own room if you prefer! We treat our dog as part of the family-she can hang on our couch and lounge with us - and yours would be treated no differently! My kids are very chill and know how to gently interact with animals very well. As for cats, we love them too! We’ve had cats in the past and my daughter and I especially love their little personalities and cute faces. Cookie has been around cats too so she will try to play but back off if she gets rejected My schedule is super flexible so its pretty easy to stick to whatever routine your dog is used to at home. We are not heavily scheduled on the weekends either other than maybe having a soccer game to go to. I have a fenced yard with no gaps or ways to get out onto the street. We have baby gates we can put up in our house too if your dog likes to bolt for the front door when it opens.
About: I'm an absolute dream for pet parents! With over 35 years taking care of animals, I am a great choice for peace of mind, precision in following details, and trust. If your dog is high energy and wants a long walk or run during my stay with them all the better! I'm training for an Ultra marathon in 2026. I took a break from Rover since I had another business and small children to care for, but I'm BACK! My managers and employees handle my established pet care business in Central Austin currently. Rover gives me a chance to continue doing what I love while being able to continue providing employment and stability for the crew that's worked for me for many years. I'm great with special needs animals. I'm comfortable giving injections and other necessary medications. Special diets will be followed and only the best treats provided. About this sitter: My father traveled the NW and West Coast as an AKC judge, handler and groomer before hanging up the leashes to pursue other talents. Traveling with him and handling hundreds of pets from an early age provides me an unprecedented amount of knowledge. I've spent the last 15 years managing a very successful pet sitting company in both Portland and Austin. Recently we moved to Mexico for 3 years and explored the Yucatan from 2022-2025. We moved back so my oldest can pursue their career and start college, and my younger kids are gifted and interested in diving deep into sports. I have an active family and lifestyle with a lot of energy to spare for you and your pets! I currently have the time and attention to give with Overnight care in your home. I am working from home on passion projects and building a new business so my time is dedicated to your household while I am there. My teens care for our animals when I am away from my own home. They have years of experience as well from working alongside me their whole lives.
About: I have loved and cared for dogs since I was 11 years old. My current furry friend is a rescue who came to me with behavioral issues, so I understand the needs of a wide variety of dogs. I am available to care for your pet in your home when you're away. I am flexible and can become available on short notice. I have extensive experience with rescue pups and am eager to play with and love on pets with all kinds of needs. My own dog is a fearful rescue pup, so I understand that some dogs need more space than others.
About: I have a few years of experience caring for pets for people who trust me with their animals. I’ve handled everything from daily feeding and walks to giving pets companionship, playtime, and calm energy when their owners are away. I’m attentive, patient, and great at understanding different personalities, whether they’re energetic, shy, or somewhere in between. I always make sure routines are followed and pets feel safe and cared for. I currently work full-time Monday through Friday but I work hybrid so I have some extra flexibility to pet sit when I can! I also have ample time on the weekends :) When I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I follow the owner’s instructions closely — from feeding schedules and litter or potty routines to favorite toys, treats, and habits. I make sure the space is safe, calm, and clean, and I give pets plenty of attention, playtime, and reassurance. I’m respectful of the home I’m in, and I always take my time to make sure pets feel secure, relaxed, and well cared for while their owners are away.

Natasha was an amazing dog walker for our dog Winry. She was always on time, has good communication, and took great pics. Our dog looked forward to her every morning and came back all smiles. She clearly loves dogs and has a calm and warm energy. We 100% recommend her and will use her again in the future. Thank you Natasha!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
