About: Hello! I'm Marie, an animal lover with a big heart... and a frequent traveler. My story begins with a personal choice: Because I return to France for several weeks each year to visit family, I made the decision not to adopt a pet of my own. I believe I couldn't leave them in someone else's care for that long. But my desire for animal companionship was still strong! This is what led me to become a passionate volunteer at Austin Pets Alive! There, I learned everything: from handling the most fearful or reactive dogs to caring for cats. I usually leave my house for three hours each Monday morning to volunteer at APA!, which is typically the longest time I'm away. I strive to be present all day for your pet. About: I have had animals my entire life. Right now, I have a cat and a dog of my own that I adore. I would love your animals as my own, and take the very best care of them. I currently work part-time from 11AM to 7PM, but I would still have a flexible schedule. About: I've cared for dogs since age 18, including three senior pups. Friends and family trust me with pet care, and I love helping dogs. I work Monday thru Friday but I work from home on Monday and Tuesday. I have a one hour lunch Wednesday thru Friday. So I have time to play with pups.
