“Farheen is absolutely amazing! She took care of my cat for three days and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She was excellent with communication and kept me updated throughout the day on how my cat was doing, which gave me so much peace of mind. She’s incredibly attentive to detail and went above and beyond on the last day, she even took out the trash and replaced the litter bag and refilled the litter box without me even asking. What really stood out is how caring and patient she is. You can tell she genuinely loves animals. My cat tends to have some anxiety and doesn’t usually warm up to strangers but he bonded with her so quickly. He was coming up to her, wanting to be around her which honestly surprised me. It was clear he felt comfortable and safe with her. She followed all instructions perfectly kept everything clean and organized and was overall just very kind and thoughtful. This has been one of the best experiences I’ve had with a cat sitter. I would absolutely book her again for future trips and highly recommend her especially if you have a cat with anxiety or attachment issues. You won’t regret it!”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs from German shepherds to yorkies since I was 8 years old! Whether it was my neighbor’s, grandmother’s or my own, I’ve always had such love for furry babies. I work completely remotely so I am home all day with the fur babies! I take my dog to the dog park several times a day and because my work is remote I am able to be at his beck and call. I allow pets on my furniture and my complex has a massive dog park for them to run around in! My story begins with a personal choice: Because I return to France for several weeks each year to visit family, I made the decision not to adopt a pet of my own. I believe I couldn't leave them in someone else's care for that long. But my desire for animal companionship was still strong! This is what led me to become a passionate volunteer at Austin Pets Alive! There, I learned everything: from handling the most fearful or reactive dogs to caring for cats. About: I've cared for dogs since age 18, including three senior pups. Friends and family trust me with pet care, and I love helping dogs. I work Monday thru Friday but I work from home on Monday and Tuesday. I have a one hour lunch Wednesday thru Friday. So I have time to play with pups. I no longer have any dogs of my own, as they have all crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I have a large, unfenced yard with plenty of room to explore. About: I’ve been around dogs and cats since I was a kid. I do have a family pet named Munchie back home. Helped volunteer at the animal shelter during my time when I lived OKC. Do not have pets of my own (hopefully soon it will change) but I want to share my love for pets for those who are busy! I work at home Monday and Fridays, office from Wednesday through Thursday. I am free most of the time, especially on weekends. I go in the office latest at 9:00 and out around 4-5 PM. So I can extremely flexible on what you need! I do live in a single bedroom apartment with a front yard with a small gated fenced. I keep my place clean and full of snacks and area for your pet too be as comfortable as needed.
