Pet care experience
Vet in a past life 🐈🐇🐢
For as long as I can remember, I have loved being around and taking care of animals. I have always grown up with cats and as a teenager in high school, volunteered at a local cat clinic in my hometown taking care of the resident kitties, as well as any patients coming in. When I moved to Austin, I decided I no longer wanted to be a veterinarian but still loved animals with all my heart. I have a rabbit as well (rover only allows for me to input dogs and cats) as well as my two cats which is why I am unable to provide care in my own apartment. My rabbit is six years old and a whopping 2lbs, but don’t worry, she’s a mini holland lop and runs the house.

Ratings and reviews
Highly recommend! Great communication and sent me photos of my boys while I was traveling!

Sydney was awesome! Kind and responsive - hope to have her walk our pup again!

I’m so happy we chose Sydney to take care of our cat! She responded promptly to any texts I sent her, followed the care instructions, and made me feel like I was leaving my cat in good hands. I’d love to work with Sydney in the future again!

Sydney went above and beyond with my girls she is absolutely amazing and an all around beautiful person as well. I didn’t worry once about my girls while I was out of town for the first time ever and she went out of her way to do things that weren’t even required of her. I cannot thank her enough and am I am so lucky I found her !!! BOOK HER ASAP!!!!
Sydney was lovely, she arrived right on time, in the rain. Buddy doesn't love rain and Sydney convinced him to take a stroll anyway.
Sydney was great! She was so sweet with my pup. Very communicative about his activities, and sent great pictures. She put me at ease and will definitely use Sydney’s service again!

Schedule
I am currently taking a gap year from school as I prepare to apply for UT-Masters in Nursing program! I am currently working on my prereqs at home, and I’d much rather spend that time studying in the company of a cat or dog!!! I do prefer to have a plan, just so both of us feel more comfortable
- Cats0 to 15 lbs16 to 40 lbs41 to 100 lbsover 101 lbsSydney can host up to 6 drop-ins per day
- I’m pretty easygoing, but I want to make sure I’m following your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible. It's helpful for me to know the basics ahead of time: their feeding schedule (is it flexible/or does it need to be at a certain time on the dot), potty routine, and any house rules. Beyond that, just let me know if they have any specific triggers I should watch out for, like being reactive to other dogs on walks or getting nervous during storms. Knowing what makes them feel safe and comfortable helps me make sure they’re doing well while you're away.
