“Now Jessica is the REAL DEAL!!! I 100% trust her with my dog. We did a meet and greet to ensure my dog was comfortable & a good fit. She will not let you down!”
About: I’ve always loved animals and started pet sitting when I was 15. I’ve taken care of many sizes and types, from small dachshunds and cats to big golden doodles. I also grew up with two dogs who I frequently babysit when my mama is out of town. I’m experienced in walking, feeding, boarding and consoling animals who miss their owners (: I am home full time all week during the summer. I have my own cat who does get along well with other dogs and cats. I love to play with animals and I’ll make sure to keep your pet entertained while I’m visiting. I have a fenced in yard at my home. If they get along with other dogs, i’ll let them hang out at the nearby dog park as well.
“Jaclyn did a great job watching my furr babies! My dogs absolutely loved her. She did such a great job giving updates and giving me the run down of their day. I would definitely trust her again to watch over them!”

“Very thankful for Valeriia , she communicates and keeps me up to date on his eating habits and how he may be feeling. Appreciate her time and I’m sure my dog does too. Absolutely will continue to book with her.”

“Cheuk has been very flexible and prompt in responding to my requests to walk and feed Camilla. He's good about leaving photos to show how Camilla is doing and how well she is taken care of. If any changes come up, he has been polite and understanding. I'll definitely book him again”

About: I love dogs and enjoy taking care of them. I owned a dog as a child and enjoyed playing, taking care of, and walking my family’s dog. As an adult, I started dog sitting for my friend’s when they went out of town before I became a dog owner. I loved meeting my friend’s dogs and enjoyed loving them as my own while they were away. I believe in communication when watching one’s pet. I am a fellow dog owner and appreciate when my sitter informs me of positive comments about my dog or concerns. I will watch and care for your dog well and will communicate how well they are doing while we walk in your neighborhood or drop-in to your home.

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Dessau
Arfa was a lifesaver. She’s a real lover of dogs and cares for them like they are her own. You can trust her inside your home and more importantly with your 4 legged family members. She takes lots of pictures when she’s with your dog and keeps you updated on everything that’s going on. I can’t say enough good things about this young lady. She really gives you that peace of mind that your dog is in good hands and you have nothing to worry about.

Megan was the best! She accepted a few walks for our dog fairly last minute, was very responsive and reliable! Griz absolutely loved her and it seems like had a great time together :) she took him on long walks, sent lots of pictures and communicated throughout! Highly recommend!! Thanks Megan!

Hana is absolutely amazing! She is incredibly caring, responsible, and truly has a genuine love for dogs. The way she cares for Odin and her own dog Bentley is unmatched. You can tell this isn’t just a job for her, it’s something she truly enjoys. She always sends pictures and updates, which gives me so much peace of mind. Every time Odin comes back from a walk with her, he’s so happy and excited it says everything. Odin is my baby, and I don’t trust just anyone with him, but with Hana I feel completely confident. She is fantastic, bar none. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and loving to care for their pet!

Linda has been so wonderful with my Sam! She’s a great, fast communicator and she’s been so flexible with our schedule. Sam can be a stubborn shih tzu and she’s worked with him wonderfully - even brought a stroller on a rainy day and saved the day! I would definitely recommend her to a friend

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
