Pet care experience
🐾 Happy Pets. Peace of Mind. 🐾
I bring 30 years of hands-on pet care experience and have cared for pets professionally since 1999. I’m experienced with dogs, cats, seniors, shy pets, and pets with more complex needs. I’m comfortable administering oral medications, injections, eye and ear medications, and providing diabetic care. I’m joined by Rosalinda, who has more than 20 years of personal experience caring for dogs and has worked alongside me with boarding and daycare since 2023. She is also an integral part of my private pet-care business, serving as my right hand and helping ensure care runs smoothly and consistently. Together, we bring decades of hands-on experience, patience, and an understanding that every pet has their own personality, routine, and comfort level. Whether your pet is young and energetic, a senior who needs a slower pace, shy and cautious, or simply happiest sticking to their familiar routine, we adjust our care to the individual pet rather than expecting every pet to adjust to us.

Schedule
Pet care is my full-time business, both through Rover and my own private pet-care business. I schedule visits in organized morning, afternoon, and evening blocks, track care daily, and keep clients updated with photos and detailed notes. Rosalinda works full-time outside of pet care and joins me for boarding and daycare, giving pets in our care additional attention and support while maintaining their normal routines.
Where your pet will stay
Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
Meet-and-greets are required. I follow care instructions carefully, check gates, leashes, and equipment before walks, and maintain calm, consistent routines. For everyone’s safety, if there is any concern about how your dog may react to a new person entering the home, please have your dog securely leashed or safely contained when I arrive. I do not use prong collars, choke chains, shock/e-collars, muzzles, or similar equipment. If your pet requires any of these tools for handling or care, I am not the appropriate care provider for your pet. BOARDING & DAYCARE: My home provides a calm, clean, low-stress alternative to a busy boarding or daycare environment, with a small private yard for supervised outdoor time. I care for only one family at a time, so your pets are not mixed with unfamiliar boarding clients. I can accommodate up to three dogs from the same family, depending on their size and individual needs. My partner, Rosalinda, joins me in providing boarding and daycare in my home. This gives pets another familiar, caring person during their stay and provides additional support when needed. For established repeat clients, limited weekend boarding may occasionally be available at Rosalinda’s home in Buda (usually Thursdays 7pm-Sunday 7pm), when I am already booked. This is limited backup availability and is not guaranteed. Daycare is available between 7 AM and 7 PM, with the standard daycare rate covering up to 8 hours. Longer stays may require an adjusted rate.
A typical day
Each visit is centered around your pet’s normal routine. Depending on their needs, care may include feeding and fresh water, medications, potty breaks, walks, playtime, enrichment, and plenty of calm attention and cuddle time. I avoid dog parks and crowded areas, keep dogs safely leashed outside the home, and provide detailed photo updates so you know how your pet is doing. BOARDING & DAYCARE: I keep stays intentionally small, quiet, and personal. Dogs are welcomed into my home environment and their normal feeding, medication, sleep, and potty routines are followed as closely as possible. They receive regular supervised outdoor time in my private fenced yard, along with indoor play, attention, and plenty of time to relax. Rosalinda and I share boarding and daycare care, so pets have familiar, consistent attention throughout their stay. My yard is best suited for supervised potty breaks, fresh air, and light play rather than running or high-energy outdoor activity. For safety, my home is not appropriate for dogs who jump fences, dig to escape, or are known escape artists. Senior pets and pets requiring medication are welcome. Please let me know whether your dog is comfortable around cats. When needed, I can provide a cat-free environment during your dog’s stay. A trial visit may be required before boarding or daycare to make sure my home environment and your pet are a good fit for one another. Trial visits are booked through Rover as a discounted daycare or boarding stay.

- PLEASE be completely transparent about your pet’s behavior, even if you think something may sound concerning. Before services begin, I need to know about behavior triggers, fear or anxiety, territorial or protective behavior, reactions to unfamiliar people entering the home, resource guarding, aggression, bite or snap history, escape attempts, and any other behavior that could affect safe handling or care. Please also provide complete information about medical needs, medications, feeding routines, and emergency contacts. Disclosing a behavior or worst-case scenario does not automatically mean I will decline your pet. It gives me the information I need to prepare, determine whether I can safely provide care, and make the experience as low-stress as possible for everyone involved. I would much rather know too much than discover an important behavior after care has begun. Safety comes first. If I arrive for a visit and encounter undisclosed behavior, an unsafe environment, or a situation in which I do not feel I can safely enter the home or handle your pet, I will not place myself or your pet at risk. The visit may need to be stopped or alternative arrangements made. If I determine before services begin that I am not the appropriate fit for your pet’s needs, I will let you know. Honest communication helps me make that decision responsibly and gives your pet the best chance of receiving safe, comfortable care.
