“Max loves staying with Shannon & Ray. Upon picking him up this time it took a little convincing to get him out of his crate to leave 😅 I'm grateful for them giving Max all the comfort and care that he needs when I'm gone.”

“My Stanley had a wonderful visit. Thank you for all the videos and pictures sent daily. It really put my anxiety at ease. We will definitely being using you guys in the future.”

“Bethany was so great with my boxer! We were nervous to leave them with someone they’ve never met before, but Bethany took amazing care of our baby and sent us pictures and updates to put us at ease. Highly recommend and would use her again!”

“Kyle is an excellent dog sitter. We’ve left our dog with him twice, the second time for over a week, and our dog loves him. I appreciate his communication, responsiveness, and also his overall attitude about dogs. He is passionate about caring for dogs and puts energy into taking the dogs he dog sits out to do things and otherwise incorporates their needs into his routine. We will certainly continue to use him as long as he’s available and I could not recommend him more.”

“This is my first time with Rover and the first time I left my cat Daisy with anyone besides family and especially for an extended stay of 10 days. From the moment I met Elizabeth, I knew that she was the pet sitter for Daisy! Upon meeting her, I found Elizabeth to be very friendly, loving, caring, and very interested in all the details to do with Daisy. Her house is very open, spotless and a lot windows and great window sills for Daisy to watch the birds and animals all day. She stayed in touch with me every day, sending me pictures, texts, filling me in with Daisy's day. Daisy also had her own bedroom 🙂 but roamed freely all day. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is nervous about leaving their pet behind and also she will always be my number one pet sitter. Thank you so much Elizabeth! You made my trip so less stressful!! 💛⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Nelda was the absolute best! From the meet and greet to the end of Shelby’s stay, she was truly amazing. Very nice and caring. Even sent me pictures during Shelby’s stay to ensure me she was doing well! Will definitely use her again!”
“Nahid is so great! I think my dogs had more fun there than they do at home with me :) he took amazing care of them, send a ton of fun updates and pictures/videos, was very easy with drop off and pick up, and overall such a pleasure to work with. I will definitely be using him again.”

“Sharidon and Jared did a great job watching my pup. They were excellent communicators and flexible when I needed to adjust the dates. My pup got along well with theirs and he came home a very happy boy. Will definitely be rebooking!”

“Took excellent care of my baby while I was out of town. My Kevin is shy and uncertain of new dogs and places but she helped him feel at home. Thank you so much I don’t know what I’d do without you!”

“Laura and her family took great care of my fur baby while I was away. She is an excellent communicator, sent frequent updates and was very accommodating. Daisy loved her, will definitely book again 💕”

“I a 100% recommend Nadin! She is very caring and attentive. Indy was in good hands. They walked a lot, went for hikes, dog parks and enjoyed good weather in the backyard. She was caring for him as much as for her own dog. I got plenty of pictures and videos and I saw Indy was having a good time. Her dog, Pickle, and Indy became friends! It’s very rare for Indy to play with other dogs and sleep back to back. He is more a people’s dog. I was very happy I chose Nadin as his sitter. I had peace of mind knowing he is having a great time. I can’t recommend her services enough!”

“Kerrigan was an amazing dog sitter for our Maple while we were on vacation. She treated her just like one of the family and sent lots of pictures and videos to help us all feel connected. She went above and beyond to make sure Maple was happy, healthy, comfortable, and loved. I would absolutely book with Kerrigan again!”

“Kimberley was absolutely AMAZING. My puppy Mango seemed so happy the whole time she was with her and her sweet dog Donut, and I wouldn’t have trusted anyone else to give her the love and care that Kimberley gave her! I had only had my puppy for a couple weeks, and she has only had a little training so far. She is super high energy and such a cuddle bug and Kimberley was incredibly helpful with continuing with what Mango and I had been working on as well as giving her lots of enrichment, exercise, and cuddles!! I am so thankful to have found Kimberley and if you’re looking for someone to watch your fur babies, look no further!!! Kimberley is the BEST! 🥰”

“We enjoyed our vacation even more because our pooch was so well taken care of by Qui. He was communicative about her days and sent pictures often. Everything about the process and stay went extremely well. We would have no problem booking with Qui again!”

“I appreciated Scott's request to have a meet & greet before our first booking, it made for an easy transition when dropping our dog off for the actual boarding. Not that we were concerned, but it reduced any anxiety we had when we got an update and some pictures during the boarding that Gunner was doing well. Gunner really enjoyed his time with Scott's dog Tucker, he was (bad joke here) tuckered out when we got him home. Thanks Scott, much appreciated!”

“Briana was fantastic! I could tell by the texts and photos she sent she was loving on the puppies as if they were her own. And she had her hands VERY full with TWO VERY ACTIVE puppies ages 6 & 5 months! I’m pretty sure the puppies have decided “Mama Briana” is a better mama than I am. She spent time with them, played with them, loved on them! If she will have our crazy twosome back we won’t be calling anyone else ever again! It was truly the first time I’ve been able to relax when going away.”

“Nick and his wife are amazing with our two large, excitable, high energy dogs! :) Their backyard is the perfect set up for the dogs to run around and play. One time they ran out of food and they were kind enough to feed them pumpkin and rice to make up for it. Our dogs always come home happy and very tired (huge plus) and we will definitely be using them every time we are out of town.”

“Brandy is reliable, communicative and kept my cat safe, well fed and cared for. She even brought her own cat toy to play with him, and charged one of his toys to play. She brought in a package that came while I was travelling and overall gave me peace of mind while I was gone - I didn't have to worry about my cat or my apartment at all!”

“Kaitlan was fantastic watching our 2 cats while we were out of the country! Communication with her was excellent everyday, with updates and photos of how our cats were doing. Definitely will request her again for future trips.”

“Amber was so great with my cat. I had to reschedule our meet and greet due to his health conditions and she was very accommodating. She was able to do his subq fluids, give him his oral pill and topical ointment. She is very friendly and I can tell my cat liked her! She provided a perfect amount of information in each summary card. Will definitely book again!”

“Cheryl is awesome and attentive to our cat and our interactions. We were gone 2 weeks and our boy cat was well cared for. She visited 1x a day and set a feeder for a second visit. She made sure he had all of his supplements. She ensured he had clean water and litter and even took down the trash can for us. Our cat was happy and healthy upon our return 🥰 As long as Cheryl is rovering, we will have a sitter!”

“Rose was fantastic! She was incredibly helpful, communicative, and professional throughout the entire process. We really appreciated how easy she made everything and would definitely recommend her!”

“Lauren is amazing! She's super communicative, responsible, open, and treats your pet like they're her own. She sent pictures every day, which really reassured me and let me know my cat was in good hands ❤️”

“Paola was fantastic! She did a couple of drop-ins for Remmy and went above and beyond to make sure everything was taken care of. She made sure Remmy ate, got her walks in, had plenty of playtime, and kept me updated the whole time. I felt completely at ease knowing Remmy was in such good hands. I highly recommend Paola.”

About: Your dog will have plenty of companionship, outdoor time, and a calm place to relax while staying with me. I work from home as a furniture flipper, so I am present most of the day and can follow your dog’s usual feeding, potty, walking, and rest schedule. I may host up to two other dogs at a time, so guests must be friendly and well socialized with other dogs. Many dogs enjoy the companionship of our small group. I provide the primary care for every stay, and my trusted assistant may also spend time playing fetch and giving your dog extra petting and cuddles. Social dogs may accompany me on appropriate outings, while dogs who prefer quiet can relax comfortably at home. I have a large backyard for supervised outdoor time and live in a shady, walkable neighborhood that is well suited for regular walks. I began sitting frequently in 2020, when working from home made it possible for me to provide more consistent care. I love getting to know each new friend and helping them feel comfortable, secure, and as though they are enjoying an adventure of their own. Boarding dogs are rarely left alone for more than a few hours. During house sitting, I may occasionally be away for up to four hours, though usually less than two. Friendly dogs may join me on dog-friendly outings. In summer, I often use indoor locations such as Home Depot for exercise without the heat. Care is tailored to each dog’s routine and needs. Dogs may join me on appropriate outings like Home Depot or a hike, and are welcome to sleep with or near me if that makes them more comfortable during their stay.
About: I’ve had all kinds of pets since I was little: fish, dogs, cats, and even lab rats. I’ve also taken care of my friends’ and family members’ pets. I’m very good with animals — I have a lot of patience with them, and I treat them with so much love. At the moment I am fully available, so I can dedicate my time to engaging with pets, keeping them active, and teaching them new tricks and skills. I’m patient, attentive, and committed to providing a safe, positive experience for every pet in my care. At the moment I don’t have a backyard, but I do have a small balcony where pets can relax and enjoy the sun. Inside my condominium there are several green areas for walking, as well as a designated dog park where pets can explore and make new friends. I also have my own cat — he’s very calm, affectionate, and loves meeting new companions. I always make sure every pet feels comfortable, safe, and cared for during their stay.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for a variety of neighbors and friends for the last 5 years. I have cared for small, medium, and large dogs. The largest dog was around 140 pounds. I have also looked after cats. I work full time Monday-Thursday, so I am mainly looking for opportunities over the weekend. However, I have a flexible work schedule so I can stop by during my lunch break as needed. I have lots of exposure to a variety of animals so I am excited to get to know your pet and make them feel loved while you are away! I love talking to my pets at home, giving them treats, going on walks, and cuddling on the couch.
“Catherine was very communicative and extremely flexible with taking care of my dog Bronson. She was so kind as to help out with our cats while we were away as well.”

“Brandy and Ladybug get along so well and my sweet girl looks forward to her walks! It is because Brandy lets her sniff and walk so that she gets physical and mind exercise. Ladybug loves to discover the area around her neighborhood & Brandy lets her do that. I know she thinks it all belongs to her to protect! I appreciate all the things Brandy does & I highly recommend her!”

About: I’ve cared for a good amount of pets throughout different points in my life. Each experience continuously teach me just how much every animal can differ when it comes to their personality, routines, comfort levels, and needs. There’s no one size fits all for pet care! 🙂↔️☝🏽 My schedule varies, so I try to regularly keep my Rover calendar updated based on when I’m available to take on pet care. If I’m available for the dates you need, I’m happy to discuss the details and see if we’re a good fit! I’m pretty gentle and patient when it comes to animal care. I strongly believe in listening to the owners needs and methods of caring for their pets as it will allow for me to give your pet the best care possible. I also prefer to take my time getting to know your pet and getting a feel for their personality and how they respond to me. I’m affectionate, but I like to let them gravitate toward me when they’re comfortable rather than forcing the interaction. Some pets want attention right away and others need a little more time and space, and I’m perfectly fine with either! I will happily follow any protocol you have for your pet as long as you clearly communicate that with me beforehand.
“Great communication, kind and patient with our stressed out Husky. When we came back from our trip we could tell she was so cared for. Thank you Valerie for all the extra TLC you gave sky we could tell she was so happy!”

“Hayden really came in clutch! I had a last minute cancellation and needed someone to let’s my pups out and take them on a walk. Hayden was extremely flexible and responsive. Thank you SO much!”

About: Certified Animal-Assisted Intervention Specialist (AAAIP) I bring a calm, attentive, and deeply compassionate approach to caring for your dog, treating every walk, feeding, and cuddle session with the same care I'd want for my own pet. As a Certified Animal-Assisted Intervention Specialist, I've been trained in therapeutic, trust-based approaches to animal care, and I bring that same mindful attention to every dog I look after. I do my best work with well-socialized, easygoing adult dogs, and I'm not taking on puppy clients at this time, since we also have two dogs of our own at home. I'm happy to follow specific routines, administer medication, and keep you updated with regular check-ins and photos. For the past two years, my dog Ranger, also my animal therapy partner, and I have worked as housesitters, caring for dogs and cats in their own homes. Ranger's calm, steady presence puts other animals at ease quickly, and together we've built a comfortable rhythm around all kinds of pets and personalities. I prioritize consistency and comfort by sticking to your dog's usual schedule for feeding, walks, and rest. My preference is to board your dog in my own home, where they can enjoy a calm, stable environment alongside our own well-socialized dogs and Ranger's steady presence, though I'm happy to discuss house-sitting at your home depending on the fit. My approach to animal care has been shaped by a lifetime of loving and learning from animals. As a longtime yoga and animal therapist, I've seen firsthand how much gentle, mindful care can support an animal's emotional and physical well-being, whether they're recovering from something difficult or just need comfort and companionship. I also spent 17 years caring for my beloved cat, Angel, including being by her side at the end of her life, an experience that deepened my understanding of the trust, patience, and love that caring for an animal truly requires. Caring for pets isn't just about meeting basic needs. It's about understanding their emotions, earning their trust, and creating a safe, loving space for them to thrive. That's the standard I bring to every dog and cat I care for. Pet care is a steady part of my everyday routine, not something I fit in around other things. My days include regular feeding times, walks, playtime, and quiet rest periods, so pets in my care have a predictable rhythm to feel secure in. One of us is typically home throughout the day, allowing for playful check-ins, medication schedules, or extra care and cuddles. I keep my calendar updated with my real availability, so what you see is accurate. Safety is at the center of how I care for every pet. I keep a close eye on my surroundings during walks and playtime, use secure leashes and equipment, and double-check gates, doors, and fences before letting dogs off-leash in any yard. I never leave pets unsupervised in unfamiliar or unsecured areas, and I stay alert to signs of stress, illness, or discomfort so I can respond quickly. I also keep clients informed with regular updates and photos, and I always have a plan in place for emergencies, including quick access to vet information and contact numbers.

“Andrew has been doing 3 weekly walks for about a month now and I couldn’t be happier! He keeps me in the loop on length of walks and how my dog is doing, asks questions if he isn’t sure about something, and overall goes above and beyond for a GREAT price. Book Andrew for your pet needs, you’ll be getting the best!”

I’m respectful of the home I’m in, and I always take my time to make sure pets feel secure, relaxed, and well cared for while their owners are away.

“Erin is incredibly sweet and caring and has been a massive help with walking my dog Loki while I’m recovering from an injury. She goes above and beyond what I expected from a dog walker and Loki is always in a good mood after his walks. Very much appreciate everything Erin has done and highly recommend her if you are looking for someone to care for your pet.”

“Great experience using Tracey for a drop in walk! She accommodated me super last minute and was able to walk my dog when I couldn’t! She was very communicative, helped feed him his breakfast and sent loads of pictures, will definitely book her again”

About: I'm an absolute dream for pet parents! With over 35 years taking care of animals, I am a great choice for peace of mind, precision in following details, and trust. If your dog is high energy and wants a long walk or run during my stay with them all the better! I'm training for an Ultra marathon in 2026. I took a break from Rover since I had another business and small children to care for, but I'm BACK! My managers and employees handle my established pet care business in Central Austin currently. Rover gives me a chance to continue doing what I love while being able to continue providing employment and stability for the crew that's worked for me for many years. I'm great with special needs animals. I'm comfortable giving injections and other necessary medications. Special diets will be followed and only the best treats provided. About this sitter: My father traveled the NW and West Coast as an AKC judge, handler and groomer before hanging up the leashes to pursue other talents. Traveling with him and handling hundreds of pets from an early age provides me an unprecedented amount of knowledge. I've spent the last 15 years managing a very successful pet sitting company in both Portland and Austin. Recently we moved to Mexico for 3 years and explored the Yucatan from 2022-2025. We moved back so my oldest can pursue their career and start college, and my younger kids are gifted and interested in diving deep into sports. I have an active family and lifestyle with a lot of energy to spare for you and your pets! I currently have the time and attention to give with Overnight care in your home. I am working from home on passion projects and building a new business so my time is dedicated to your household while I am there. My teens care for our animals when I am away from my own home. They have years of experience as well from working alongside me their whole lives.
“1000/10!! So unbelievably grateful to have found you both!! I was able to relax on my trip knowing my furr babies were well taken care of. The care taken of them was above and beyond what I could of expected! Will definitely be a return customer!”

About: ***fully vaxxed against Covid-19*** High energy, low energy, no energy, big, small, puppy, senior, you name it... give me all the doggo! The derpier the better! When I’m not hanging out with my four-legged friends I can usually be found somewhere outside enjoying the day with my Blue Heeler mix Piper. I have years of canine experience, including senior care, an educated in canine behavior and communication, and have always carried a special fondness for those stubbornly smart working breeds. I live in East ATX, have a flexible schedule, and I never say “no” to making new lasting and loving canine friendships. Being active is super important to me, but don't let that fool you, my chill factor is higher than most. Couch cuddles are high on the list of my favorite things ever. I am flexible and able to accommodate most requests with proper notice. Now that summer is here I usually do walkies in the evening time once the weather cools off a bit. I promise to love your fur baby as if they were my own while you’re away, with plenty of loving pets as well as outdoor time.

“Erik and his family took such good care of Brodie. I have never boarded Brodie before and was a little nervous, but Erik immediately eased my nerves with a friendly welcome and consistently sending me pictures, videos, and updates on Brodie. Thank you so much Erik! :)”

“Great dog sitters that sent photos often and gave updates on my pup. I am so glad I was able to have them take care of Bentley during my travel. I would recommend them to anyone!”

“Swapna & Ravi took wonderful care of Zara! They constantly updated us with photos of her and she had so much fun with their dog, Sky. Zara was provided with a welcoming environment and we would recommend them to any pet families!”

“We can not thank enough Swetha ,Venkatesh and family for taking care of Rocky and Ninja. Rocky has major separation anxiety but Swetha made sure he feels right at home and provided him much needed exercise. She literally hand fed him every day. We received regular photos and updates every single day. It was nice to see them happy and having fun. They took care of our pups like their own. You guys are the BEST!”

“Leo had such an amazing time! He felt so comfortable and cared for the entire stay. The sitter sent regular updates and photos, which made me feel completely at ease. Leo can be a little sensitive, but he was so happy and relaxed when I picked him up. Truly grateful for the wonderful care!”

“Ashley was awesome! She sent videos of my dog playing with all the other dogs and is very sweet. Definitely trusting her with my pup again next time I need to leave town.”
