About: I have been dog sitting for various families in the greater Austin area since I was 15. I have experience with both puppies under 1 year and senior dogs. I love all kinds of animals and am passionate about caring for them well. I am currently in college, graduating in May where I plan to do pet care full time as I job hunt for my future career. I will have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I am young and fit, so I am very comfortable taking your pet for a long walk as well as just hanging out and spending time with them if that is more their speed. I am a clean person and have experience with caring for dogs in their own homes.
“Catherine was very communicative and extremely flexible with taking care of my dog Bronson. She was so kind as to help out with our cats while we were away as well.”

About: I grew up with various pets in the house and went on to pet sit for friends and family as well. I have experience watching lizards, birds, snakes and even a axolotl! I am a student enjoying the summer off! So I have full availability to play with your pets and give them the dedicated attention and care they need and crave! Caring for your pet in your home means I will adhere strictly to the pets normal routine. Feedings exactly where the fur baby knows and expects them. Cuddles in their favorite comfy spot. And bathroom breaks in their trusted toilet. (Backyard, potty pad, on walks. Whatever you do for them, I'll mirror it!)

I've spent my entire life caring for animals and have experience with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities - from tiny companions to large, powerful working breeds. I understand that every animal is an individual, and my goal is always to create a calm, safe, and positive experience while respecting your pet's unique needs. I have experience caring for dogs, cats, reptiles, rodents, chickens, and more. Whether your pet is energetic and playful, shy and nervous, or simply needs a consistent routine while you're away, I'II meet them where they are. About: Hi there! I’m Courtney and I have three years of dog training under my belt, I've trained and cared for hundreds of dogs and animals of all varieties. From puppies, to senior dogs, to anxious dogs. From cats, to birds, even to snakes. I also house sit and take care of plants, mail, and all the extra house things at no extra cost. I take care of everything. I currently work in marketing at a 9-5 and I am remote on Wednesdays. I am a homebody and am usually always available, and trying to raise money to pay off student loans. I take them on long walks, make sure they have indoor play time, lots of cuddles, fed, watered, treats, and have background music on so they are not anxious. I am always talking to them so they can hear my voice and know that I am in a relaxed and friendly mood.
About: I’ve cared for dogs my entire life and I also learned how to care for them at a young age. I’m very patient with animals and I also learned how to train my own dogs. In the beginning, it was harder to potty train them but I learned a lot of patience with them. It’s important to give animals your attention especially when they’re learning to do something new. I am looking for other part time jobs but at this moment my main focus is with Rover. I’m available almost any day and time you might need me. I’m currently renting at a home and there is no fence but I can definitely take the fur babies out for walks frequently. It’s no problem having them inside and I’m very respectful when going to other people’s homes as well.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
