Stacey was excellent, timely in coming over to look after Penny and in providing me with updates and photos. Was flexible and went above and beyond taking care of her. And a really cool person on top of that! Would definitely recommend her.

About: Hi there! I’m a work-from-home cat mom in Lago Vista with 10+ years of cat experience and grew up with dogs. As a mom to five different cats, I get how unique each pet’s routine and quirks can be. I stick closely to your instructions- meds, feeding, whatever your pet needs, keeping things calm and low-stress. I only take local clients so I can be consistent and present. Since I can’t have a dog right now, time with yours is my puppy fix; I love all animals. You can expect clear updates, quick responses, and care that’s genuine and dependable. I work from home full-time, and care for our five cat babies along with my husband. Because of my schedule, I can offer flexible and reliable care for your babies while you’re away. In your home, I follow your instructions and treat your space with respect, noting hiding spots, food preferences, and behavior cues to keep your pet at ease. Meds are given carefully, on schedule, and I stay alert and communicative to any changes in health or behavior. Whether in my home or yours, my priority is a calm, therapeutic experience for the fur babies.

About: I've had 5 dogs in my lifetime. I've always had pets in the house growing up. I have fed them, bathed them, taken them on walks, and given them lots of love! I have lots of experience with dogs! I'm currently unemployed, so I have plenty of time to spend time with your pets, pretty much any time of the week. Weekends are included! I have only 1 dog currently. She has her own kennel to sleep in, with plenty of bedding to make things comfortable. She is free to run outside, because we have a fenced in backyard that she loves to run around in. I'm currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time for your pup(s)! I'm available on weekends, and on weekdays as well, usually after 2 pm. I have a fenced yard to keep my dog safe, and she has a kennel as well. I will follow all your instructions regarding your pet to a T, and I'm also always open to answering any questions you may have about the care your pet will receive in your home.

About: I have been dog sitting for various families in the greater Austin area since I was 15. I have experience with both puppies under 1 year and senior dogs. I love all kinds of animals and am passionate about caring for them well. I am currently in college, graduating in May where I plan to do pet care full time as I job hunt for my future career. I will have plenty of time to take care of your pets! I am young and fit, so I am very comfortable taking your pet for a long walk as well as just hanging out and spending time with them if that is more their speed. I am a clean person and have experience with caring for dogs in their own homes.

About: New to Rover but caring for pets and homes locally as if they were my own has been part of my life for years. I know how important it is to trust the person you’re leaving your pets with and I take that to heart. I’m patient, reliable, and pay close attention to the little things that keep pets happy and homes feeling cared for. I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages, including playful puppies and gentle senior pets who may need extra time, medications, or a softer touch. I’m comfortable handling different routines, personalities, and special needs. Beyond pet care, I’m respectful of your home and keep everything tidy so you return to a space that feels just the way you left it—or a little better! Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily life because I work remotely from home. That means I’m around throughout the day for walks, potty breaks, meals, playtime, and plenty of companionship. My flexible schedule allows me to stick closely to each pet’s normal routine, whether they need extra attention, medication, or just a reassuring presence. Having animals around just makes my days better, so it never feels like a job to me. When I’m staying in a client’s home, I keep pets on their normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable. That means regular meals, walks, playtime, and as many snuggles as they can stand:)

About: *AM NEW TO ROVER, SO CAN PROVIDE REFERENCES & PHOTOS (apologies for so few reviews).* I have had the privilege of caring for small animal's from a very young age, as had working dogs on 15 acres of land. Have had experience with American Staffordshire Terriers, American Bulldogs, Mastiffs and multiple other breeds. Currently only have one canine, George whom is two. It is a family tradition to care for canines especially as my great-grandmother raised catahoula hounds and I am honored to keep that legecy alive. Hope to add some walks and cuddles to your four-legged/ fur-babies life, thank you for reading! I have dedicated my life to caring for all creatures that I come into contact with, along with caring for the nutritional and environmental health just as much as you would a human child. As my career in the military was cut short due to an injury,I have shifted gears to working for self via animal care and house sitting and taking care of my father. Have training in small animal nutrition and basic animal psychology from two years spent as the manager of Natural Paws (a luxury pet grocer) before they sold to a larger corporation. Have a background in insurance also so understand how absolutely important safety is during all times, as well as situational awareness. This is my primary career. Hope to be in contact soon and thank you for reading! I do not allow walking any distance outside of the home off leash and only allow off leash in the safety of the client's yard if properly fenced in.

About: I have never gone more than 1 year without pets in my home! I have 15+ years experience with both dogs and cats, with a wide range of breeds. I do exceptionally well with both calm and energetic pets. I am a gym rat and animal lover all in one, so whether they need cuddles or play time, I’m the girl they need! Fun fact, I even have a tattoo that says, “some angles choose fur instead of wings” because I sometimes like animals more than people ( LOL ! ) I am a full time entrepreneur and personal trainer, so I have open availability for all of my business ventures, including pet care. If you have special requests or needs, do not hesitate to ask! Pets that board with me will be taken to use the restroom often. They will be walked at least 2-3x a day on a leash where other dogs are allowed (no aggressive dogs to board please!). If you need in-home care for your pet, I am open to following detailed instruction to make sure your pet is cared for entirely!

We couldn’t be happier with Huith as our dog walker! She was absolutely amazing with Bambi, our high-anxiety pup who normally takes a long time to trust anyone new. Huith handled her like a true professional—calm, confident, and intuitive. Bambi warmed up to her almost immediately, which is rare and says everything about Huith’s energy and presence. On the walk, she managed Bambi with care and skill, making sure she felt safe and secure the whole time. If you have a dog with anxiety or just need someone truly reliable and compassionate, I’d wholeheartedly recommend Huith. We’ll definitely be calling on her again!

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong animal lover with a gentle heart and a dependable nature. I’ve cared for dogs and cats of all sizes and personalities — from playful puppies to senior snugglers. I believe every pet deserves love, patience, and consistency. Whether your furry friend needs long walks, belly rubs, or quiet companionship, I’ll make sure they feel safe and happy while you’re away. I provide a clean, peaceful environment complete with a relaxing garden area that gives a retreat like feel. Why You’ll Love Working With Me: ✅ Reliable and communicative ✅ Comfortable with all breeds and temperaments ✅ Focused on safety, affection, and fun I spend most of my time at home, currently working a remote job that allows flexibility and lots of cuddle time with pets. In my free time, I care for my patio garden with the help of my two sweet Pomeranian pups. We have been working on making a patio garden that gives a relaxing retreat-like feel to play in. Safety is top priority for me ! I keep a clean environment and watch closely to eliminate anything that could be a safety issue while your pet is here. My dogs are fully vaccinated and friendly and know when to back off and give other dogs space. They typically sleep most of the day next to me while I work.

Chris is super sweet and incredibly responsive. Since she lives so close, scheduling was really easy. I was a little apprehensive at first about having someone come into our home, but she was extremely professional and immediately made me feel comfortable. She picked up Angel, took her on a long walk, and followed my directions exactly (I saw on the cameras). When I got home, Angel was totally tucked out and clearly very happy. 10/10 I’ll definitely be booking with Chris again, and I highly recommend her!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
