About: I’ve taken care of all of my family pets since for as long as I can remember, as well as family friends pets and more. I’m a senior microbiology major at UT austin and work as a medical assistant part time, but I’m always out of clinic or class by 5 each day and can’t think of a better way to end my day than by loving on pets! I currently only have cats under my direct care, which entails me ensuring that their environment is always safe and there’s nothing harmful that they can get in to and that they have plenty of enrichment. When I was taking care of my families dogs, it entailed the same things as well as making sure everyone was eating at meal times, providing clean water, and playing outside.

About: I'm a native South Austin chick, and I began working in pet care back in early 2021. I have boarding, daycare, and dog walking experience with a myriad of pups. I’ve worked in Texas wildlife rescue too! I dig hanging out with all kinds of critters. It’s what I'm passionate about, so it's no surprise I've made a career out of it. On top of that, I absolutely adore doggy photography, and nothing makes me happier than snagging that perfect shot of your happy pup on our adventures together! Currently, my mornings and afternoons are wide open for dog walks and drop in visits. Getting to spend my time hanging out with some of Austin's coolest pups is a fantastic treat! If you’re looking for someone to stay in your home overnight with your pets, I can do that too. I understand that I'm here to provide a service. My job is to relieve the stress of a client, not add to it. For that reason, I value being mindful and courteous when inside your home. She still does sometimes when she’s home on a break. When she is here with TJ, she sends us photos and keeps us up-to-date. One time, TJ had a nail that was bleeding, so she contacted us right away and I told her where the pet carrier was and she got him to the vet. Everything turned out OK, and she couldn’t have been more professional or competent. You will be so lucky if you’re able to get Sami to take care of your pet”

“Olena is a WONDERFUL cat and dog sitter and dog walker. We have three cats, and when we go away (and take the dog), she stays overnight with them. She is extremely conscientious and really cares about animals. Plus she is very knowledgeable, as she is also a groomer and has had extensive training caring for animals. One of our pets is very shy and hides when new people come, but little Scooter loved Olena immediately. Olena takes her pet care very seriously. This is her chosen profession; it's not something she just does to make extra money or as a temporary gig while trying to do something else. She is very honest and clean, too. When we return, everything is very tidy. Plus every day she sends pictures of what our pets are doing and written explanation of how they spent their day. It's actually honest and detailed narrative, not the made up perky but empty one-liner quips that some pet care givers send just to sound good. We have used Olena to help with our pets 7 or 8 times already and we highly recommend her!!”

Some of our cats require "special handling" and need medication that she can administer. She's taken care of kittens, too, when they've been in our care. She loves animals!
