About: I’m reliable, attentive, and focused on making pets feel comfortable by sticking closely to their normal routines. I’m very communicative with owners and always provide updates and photos. I’m also patient with different personalities—whether that’s energetic dogs that need activity or more relaxed pets that just want calm companionship. Pet care fits easily into my routine. I work remotely with a flexible schedule, so I’m able to plan my day around walks, drop-ins, and check-ins. I’m typically up early and active throughout the day, which makes it easy to provide reliable morning and evening care. I focus on keeping pets comfortable by maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. In a client’s home, I follow the owner’s instructions for feeding, walks, playtime, and any medications, while making sure pets get plenty of attention and care. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they know their pet is doing well.

About: Hola everyone! My name is Lyana, and I wanted to share my wonderful experience as a pet and house sitter companion. As someone who adores animals and has a knack for taking care of homes, this role has been a perfect fit for me. I've had the pleasure of caring for a variety of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, and even some exotic animals. Each furry or feathery friend has brought so much joy into my life. One of the things I love most about being a pet and house sitter companion is the opportunity to build strong bonds with the animals I care for. Whether it's playing fetch with a lively pup or curling up on the couch with a purring cat, the love and companionship they provide is truly heartwarming. It's incredibly fulfilling to know that I'm making a positive impact on their lives while their family is away. In addition to the joy of spending time with animals, house sitting allows me to explore different neighborhoods and communities. I've had the chance to discover beautiful parks, scenic hiking trails, and charming local spots, all while ensuring the safety and security of the homes I'm entrusted with. It's like having a mini adventure every time I take on a new house sitting assignment. I enjoy engaging in stimulating conversations with the pets or providing a calm and peaceful environment through yoga and meditation, I strive to create a positive and enriching experience for both the animals and the home. Being a morning person, I love starting my day bright and early, ready to tackle any tasks that come my way. This allows me to provide the utmost care and attention to the pets and house, ensuring that everything runs smoothly during the owners' absence. Outside of my pet and house sitting duties, I have a passion for baking, hiking, traveling, and freelance work. These interests keep me inspired and motivated, and I'm always eager to share my experiences and tips with others. If you're in need of a reliable, responsible, and compassionate pet and house sitter companion, I would be honored to be of service. Rest assured that I will treat your pets and home with the utmost care and respect, providing them with the love and attention they deserve. Kindly reach out to me to discuss your needs. I'm currently available to boarding services, house/pet sit, and dog walking Mondays, Wednesdays, & Weekends. We are flexible with time & days! Reach out to discuss any details for my services offered. I follow the routine of your home. My love and care for the pets is to always welcome them and watch them joyfully interact and be fully engaged in their world :)

About: Hi! My name is Sarah, and I am recent grad looking for great ways to pay off my student loans ASAP. I've been caring for animals from as young as two years old growing up on my family farm. I've had dogs, cats, and rabbits as pets through childhood and into adulthood. I take great pride in my animal care, and care for others' animals as if they were my own. I love taking dogs on hiking adventures, and I love playing games with cats. With award-winning head-scratches, I easily win over the shyest of animals, and have not yet met a creature that did not like me. I am a songwriter who mainly works from home and takes lots of walks to engage in nature- your dog would be a welcome addition to my routine! I’m ~that kind~ of neurodivergent.. I am adept at reading animals, and I always treat them with kindness and respect. Cool in crisis, I am an excellent person to have around your pet in a worst case scenario.

About: I have been around pets my whole life, but I’ve been taking care of them on my own for about 2 years. I also have personal experience owning a dog, a cat and two guinea pigs. I have cared for pets of all ages from playful puppies and kittens to senior pets that need extra attention. Every pet I have taken care of has always been in good hands I’m a college student in the AFROTC program at UT Austin. My weekdays can get pretty busy with classes, but Mondays and Fridays I’m mostly free. I also have some breaks between classes Tuesday through Thursday where I can stop by for pet care. Fridays and weekends are usually wide open, so I have plenty of time to give your pets the attention they need I don’t bring pets into my own home, but I make sure they’re comfortable and cared for in their own space. I follow the owner’s instructions closely, keep up with feeding and walks, give them playtime and attention, and make sure they feel safe while you’re away.

About: I have been watching, walking, and working with cats & dogs for over 9 years of my life. - I have a little yorkie at home (I currently don’t live with any pets at my apartment) - I’ve fostered a precious kitten - I’ve been pet-sitting many of my family friends pets for as long as I can remember I am detailed-oriented, attentive, & communicative with all pet-owners. I absolutely love all animals, so please don’t be afraid to reach out! I’m currently on summer break, so I’m not busy with school! (YAY) I have a bunch of time to take pets on walks, watch pets overnight, and check in at (pretty much) any time of day! I currently live at an apartment (smoke free & pet free) by myself. My apartment has a lot of open space, a dog park, and lots of sidewalks and trails to walk on! I am also comfortable with watching pets at their own home.

About: As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to feel completely comfortable leaving your pets in someone else’s care. I’m very patient, dependable, and attentive to all types of animal personalities, and I’ll always treat your pets with the same love and care I’d want for my own. We have two sweet dogs of our own that are friendly to all dogs and people, and are always up to date on necessary vaccinations. We live in a 1,400 sq ft townhome in the heart of Clarksville, and although we no longer have a yard, we have a large open green space right next to our complex and are just a block away from a dog park that we use constantly. Since I'm home all day, your dog will receive plenty of attention, playtime, and love throughout their stay! Since I'm home all day, your dog will receive plenty of attention, supervision, playtime, and love throughout their stay! This also allows me to provide flexible scheduling and attentive care for drop-in visits, walks, and house sitting needs. I always try to keep pets on the routine they're used to, whether they're staying in my home or I'm caring for them in theirs. I follow feeding schedules, exercise routines, medication instructions, and any other preferences the owner provides. In my home, pets are treated like part of the family and have plenty of attention, supervision, and opportunities for play and relaxation. When caring for pets in a client's home, I make it a priority to respect both the pet's routine and the owner's space while providing lots of love, care, and updates along the way.

About: I'm hoping to find a sweet dog that is looking for a sweet girl to visit and walk with daily. If that's your dog, please send them my way. My goal is to make you and your pet feel comfortable while you're away. I'm extremely responsible, professional, and respectful of your home and privacy, not to mention kind of a clean freak. Your dog will love all the attention they receive while we relax, watch Netflix, and cuddle. Did I mention the hundreds of belly rubs they'll get while I'm there. That's included at no additional cost. What started out as taking care of friends and family's pets has turned into a genuine love for this business. I love each and every pet I care for and have formed special bonds with them all. I personally don't have pets which allows me the flexibility to care for yours, as well as fill my life with great joy getting to know them. I hope to meet your sweet loved ones and continue to have the best job in the world. I walk dogs daily and have a set schedule with them. I'm looking to add more dogs to my rotation between the hours of 10 and 5, Monday thru Friday. I have stayed in many homes without incident and pride myself in the respect I show to your possessions. I will take care of your pets in the comfort of their own home and surroundings to put them at ease while their family is away.

About: My wife and I moved to Austin for the running scene, so long walks and miles of movement are what I live for. If your dog has energy to burn, I’m more than happy to match their energy on the trails, sidewalks, and (safe) roads. I’m a former service dog trainer, so I’m comfortable with all kinds of personalities, quirks, and needs. At home, we’ve got two bigger, high-energy older dogs, which means I’m used to handling strength, stamina, and the occasional “we’re not done yet” attitude. Whether your pup needs a chill walk, a proper outing, or a legit run, I’ve got you covered. I’m reliable, flexible, and I treat every dog like they’re my own . As a work-from-home running coach, I have availability all day any day and am happy to move my running schedule around to fit running or walking with your pup! I've had and taken care of others' dogs for as long as I can remember! With two high-energy older dogs at home, I know how important it is to make sure a dog's unique, detailed needs are met. As a former dog trainer and pet sitter with over a decade of experience, you can trust your dog will be cared for as if they were my own.

It only took a couple of minutes at the start of the pre-engagement meeting and for it to become clear to me that Zach is an excellent experienced dog handler. My own experience with dogs includes training Australian Shepherds for sheep herding competitions and I have qualified for national competition twice. My yardstick for rating a dog handler has a correspondingly higher bar. So along with my complement was that quick understanding that I didn’t need to know anything else and that my dog was is as safe hands as she could be in. People simply don’t reach Zach’s level of engaging with dogs without also demonstrating to the dog that the dog is in anything other than very safe hands and that doesn’t happen if it’s not actually true. So with my and the dog’s approval, Zach was hired and lived up to both mine and the dog’s expectations. No problem.

5 stars! David was stellar. This was first time using both the Rover app and a dog walker. My dog(who is normally energetic)was nervous and apprehensive being walked by someone other than me, and David did an amazing job being both patient and encouraging during their first walk. For the next five days while I was gone David, arrived on time and was communicative every day. I plan to continue to use his services and highly recommend others do as well.
